Loic Lebel (4G) hit double digit goals 4:46 in before adding his second of the game 1:08 later to give CIHA an early 2-0 lead. Danael Ramazanov听(2G)听countered for NAX less than three minutes later with his 18th听of the year. Ramazanov听then tied the game, beating Ty听Tunke听(28/31) midway through the second period for his second of the game. Lebel completed the hat-trick 5:38 into the third to restore the CIHA lead. Liam听Nycholat听(2G) doubled the lead with the eventual game winner 1:53 later. Lebel continued to find the back of the net, doing so for the fourth time today with 5:56 remaining. Liam Bordt听(1G, 1A)听would get one back for NAX, but听Nycholat听responded 44 seconds later to secure the CIHA upset victory.听

Edge School听(5)听vs OHA Edmonton听(4)听U15听

Cohen听Snukal-Lyon and Kyden Brockman听91G, 1A)听scored first period goals as Edge outshot OHA Edmonton 14-8 to take a 2-0 lead into the break. Van听Martschuk听added to the Edge advantage 5:44 into the second but Max Holland听(1G, 1A)听was quick to respond for OHA Edmonton, doing so 1:12 later. Down 3-1, OHA Edmonton scored three听straight听to start the third as Wim Coderre, Damon听Chinski听and Maret Fetter all found the back of the net on David Tisdale (25/29). However, Jake Sander (2G) tied the game with 2:25听remaining听before scoring the game winner 20 seconds later as Edge avoided the collapse to secure the 5-4 win.听听听

 

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy听(1)听vs North Shore Warriors听(2)听U15 Prep听

A power play goal 6:14 into the first听by defenseman Mattias Gallina (1G, 1A)听gave the home side a 1-0 lead heading into the intermission. Maddin Neale doubled the lead late in the second as he beat Liam Brown (30/32) for his second of the year. Andrew Shrigley (23/24) stood tall through 59 minutes of play in net for North Shore but was beat by听Brayden Lindsay with just 17 seconds left, ending his bid for his first shutout of the season.听听

BWC Academy听(3)听vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy听(7)听U18 Prep听

The lone first period goal came from Jack MacMillan as Pacific Coast led 1-0 after 20. Parson Shahi听(2G, 1A)听extended the lead with a power play marker before Brayden Barker听(1G, 1A)听added his sixth of the season to give PCHA a 3-0 lead. Kadyn O鈥橞rien听would get BWC Academy on the board with a power play marker with 4:48 left in the second. Kody Pham countered for PCHA at the start of the third before Shahi and Elliott Hill听(1G, 2A)听scored power play goals 40 seconds apart to give their听team a commanding 6-1 lead. Nic Collins and Logan Henry scored less than two minutes apart for BWC Academy to give PCHA a late scare, but Roman Lavery听(1G, 2A)听ultimately secured听the win with Pacific Coasts fourth power play goal of the game with 1:47 left听to play. Parker Parrish (52/55) and Josh Wu (43/50) were in net for their respective teams.听听

BWC Academy听(12)听vs听St.听George鈥檚 School听(1)听U15听

Backed by two power play and two shorthanded goals BWC Academy beat听St.听George鈥檚 12-1 Friday. Alex听Iaichkin听(3G, 3A) led the way with a hat-trick and six points while Adriano Ciccone (2G, 2A) and Mars Zhang听(2G, 3A) each had two听goals.听Marcus Nuyen scored the lone听St.听George鈥檚 goal, beating William Houle (22/23) in the first while on the power play.听听

 

Okanagan Hockey Academy听(4)听vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna听(1)听U18 Prep听听

The visitors would open the scoring midway through the first as Kamloops Blazers prospect Eli听Tverdovsky听(2G)听scored his 11th听goal of the season. Nate Macphee responded for RHA Kelowna, the number one ranked team in the division, 4:49 later to even the听score. Chase听Vossenaar听scored the lone second period goal on Asher Netherton听(31/35)听to put OHA ahead 2-1. RHA Kelowna outshot OHA 25-13 in the third but Linden听Sobocan听(44/45) stood tall and听Tverdovsky听and Trey Tourigny听(1G, 1A)听added goals to give OHA the 4-1 win.听听

 

Northern Alberta Xtreme听(4/SO)听vs Edge School听(3)听U18 Prep听

Darius Odermatt gave the home side an early 1-0 lead as he found the back of the net on Matthew Coyle (31/34) 57 seconds in. Ashton McCann听(1G, 1A)听doubled the lead with a shorthanded marker 1:33 into the second buy Joel Ngandu听(1G, 1A)听responded for NAX on the same power play one minute later. Ahmad Fayad would score the second straight NAX power play goal midway through the period to give even the score heading into the third. In the final 20 Eric Wagman gave Edge the lead with 7:15 remaining but it was short lived as Thayne听Wasyluk听(1G, 1A)听countered for NAX 50 seconds later to tie the game. The two teams would remain tied until the fourth round of the shootout when Fayad beat Lane听Bullee听(24/27) and Coyle stopped Julian Revel (31/34) to give NAX a 4-3 win in a game in which they never led.听听

St. George鈥檚 School听(2/SO)听vs North Shore Warriors听(1)听U17 Prep听

St. George鈥檚 School had gone nearly a month without a loss, winning six straight games before their latest battle, a clash in which Delta Hockey Academy bested them 5-3. Their Friday game against North Shore was the first of two this weekend, with the Warriors playing only Friday against St. George鈥檚 School prior to the Christmas break. Despite the rich run of form from St. George鈥檚 School, Laine Kauffman scored shorthanded to give North Shore the lead in the second. The scoring in regular time was contained in the second period, and five minutes of overtime came and went without a goal. Despite the game ending 1-1, the shootout wasn鈥檛 starved for scoring. Both teams scored two apiece in the first three rounds before the next five shots would be missed, setting up Nathaniel Moore with an opportunity to win it. His bullet found the top corner to seal St. George鈥檚 victory and send North Shore into 2026 still in search of their first U17 Prep victory.听

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy听(0)听vs STAR Hockey Academy听(7)听U17 Prep听听

STAR Hockey Academy ran out front against the Wenatchee Wild in the U17 Prep division on Friday, scoring three and a half minutes into a game听they鈥檇听only continue to dominate throughout. Both STAR skaters with the 鈥淗oggan鈥� name on their backs came up huge, with Cam (1G, 2A) scoring shorthanded in the first period before Hunter (3G, 1A) popped up with a pair in the second. Through two periods, it was clear why STAR had only won four of their 19 games coming into the game, with a 5-0 stronghold over their state rivals. Hunter Hoggan scored again in the third period to complete his hat-trick听en听route to a thumping seven-goal win. Erik Sims听wasn鈥檛听extremely busy but still needed to make 16 stops for the shutout.听

Delta Hockey Academy Black听(3)听vs Yale Hockey Academy听(4)听U15听

Two of the top dogs in the U15 division clashed Friday. Although Delta Hockey Academy Black had the superior record, winning 17 of 19 on the season heading into Friday, it was Yale who raced on front, dominating the first twenty minutes. The result of their control of the beginning of the game was a 2-0 lead and 14-5 shots on goal favour though the first, and with the wind in their sails, Yale hit the ground running in the second and extended their lead further. Jack Hagen (2G) scored in the first and the second for Yale to help the Lions to a 4-0 lead, and heading into the late stages of the second, it looked a lead that would comfortably see Yale over the finish line to victory. Bentley Gillis (2G) pulled one back late in the second, and Delta Black built upon that in the third to give the Lions a massive fright. Easton Isfeld (1G, 1A) scored within the first minute of the third period to make it 4-2, and from there, Delta Black poured the pressure on in their comeback efforts, and while Gillis scored again, they鈥檇 fall just short, and despite Yale nearly letting the huge lead slip, they鈥檇 still hold on for the victory.听

Northern Alberta Xtreme (2) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep听

The Northern Alberta Xtreme and South Alberta Hockey Academy play twice head-to-head this weekend to close out their 2025 calendars. The two played a weekend back-to-back at the end of October in the U17 Prep division, with NAX prevailing 5-3 in the first and SAHA by 6-3 in the second. The trend of high-scoring games for Northern Alberta has persisted throughout the season; to date, NAX鈥檚 U17 Prep squad have only failed to score three goals in a game once, way back on October 5 in their first game of the season. Both teams traded goals in the first period, but for the bulk of play, neither team could break down the wall and take the lead. With just over two minutes to play in the third, Eric Schrock scored to give his team the lead. Liam Green scored into the empty net to make it 3-1, a goal that would prove crucial after NAX managed to pull a goal back in the final seconds. The empty-netter from Green ended up standing as the game-winner after an unorthodox end to the game.
