Okanagan Hockey Ontario鈥檚 westbound foray saw them squeak out a 1-0 win over STAR Hockey Academy yesterday in Delta.听Saturday against Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy was a similar game in the 鈥渃loseness鈥� aspect but different in听nearly every听other way. Cohen Hoyles (2G, 2A) scored 90 seconds into the hockey game to听officially mark the same total goals that their听previous听game had in its entirety, but as mentioned, this game unfolded very differently. OHO doubled their lead, but the seesaw of momentum then flipped, and two goals from Blake听Celski听(3G, 1A) aided a turnaround that saw CDA take听a 4-2 lead. The four straight goals from the Idaho-based squad听weren鈥檛听sufficient in听maintaining听the lead, though, as they suffered the damage听they鈥檇听inflicted on OHO. Okanagan Hockey Ontario turned around and scored four straight goals of their own, capped by a pair from Thomas Garland. At that point, OHO led by two, and while CDA鈥檚 comeback efforts pulled them back within one, Jack Carter鈥檚 shorthanded goal served as the dagger for OHO. A goal back from CDA at the end made for an exciting finish, but OHO held on for a 7-6 win.听

Bishop’s College School came into this weekend with an undefeated record in the Eastern U17 Prep division this season, but in their way was a strong Stanstead squad, and crucially, there was Orlando, Florida native Jack Adams. Adams scored a shorthanded goal early to give Stanstead the 1-0 lead, one that would turn into a 2-1 advantage through twenty-minutes. The game saw three goals in less than one minute early in the second period, with BCS scoring twice in 17 seconds to tie the game and steal the lead, but another 34 seconds after听叠颈蝉丑辞辫鈥檚听took the lead, Adams scored his second goal to tie the game at three. Delta had won already twice in 2026, successful in both of their precious two games, but fell behind on Saturday., Dominik听Chartrand (1G, 1A) gave Notre Dame a lead just 17 seconds into the game, a lead听they鈥檇听build upon to hold a听3-1 advantage in听the second period. However, in the span of 80 seconds, Delta erased the Notre Dame听lead. Peyton May (1G, 1A) and Adam听Piliotis听scored in quick succession to pull Delta back to level terms, where it would stay until overtime. An interference penalty from Delta early in OT presented Notre Dame with a golden opportunity to win the game. Peter Frobes鈥� patience opened up a cross-ice passing lane with the pass right in the wheelhouse of Paul Abrametz (1G, 2A) who finished the feed to win it for the Hounds.听

The听box score told the full story in this one as听OHA Edmonton led 8-1 through one and would barely break that pace following听the听first intermission. OHAE grabbed a pair of hat-tricks from Kole Imlay (3G) and Kirk Girard (5G, 3A) with the latter one of two players to hit eight points, the other being Marek Fetter (2G, 6A). Through three periods, OHE Edmonton had scored 19, capping off a massive victory that saw their skaters combine for 50 points.听

The Northern Alberta Xtreme鈥檚 U15 Prep squad followed up a 15-1 win over Pilot Mound Hockey Academy at the start of December with a pair of losses against Calgary International Hockey Academy. An 8-2 win over the South Alberta Hockey Academy was only a precursor to the second back-to-back matchup between the two squads, and on Saturday, NAX鈥檚 offence went even further than the night before. Jared Ryan led the way with a hat-trick in a 12-0 NAX victory.听

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg lost a thriller on Friday night in a 7-6 overtime contest against Edge School, looking to improve on Saturday against the Calgary International Hockey Academy. The 13-goal thriller of Friday was replicated by RHAW on Saturday. The two teams remained locked at 1-1 through one before 4-4 through two periods of play. An electric start to the third saw the lead swing from RHAW, to CIHA, and back again. CIHA led 6-5 near the end of the third, but RHAW would turn things around to avenge Friday鈥檚 loss. Drayden Champagne (1G, 1A) scored with under three and a half minutes to go, giving RHAW a late 7-6 lead and ultimately held on for a thrilling win. Colton Ross scored a hat-trick with a goal in each period to help his RINK Winnipeg squad to the win.听

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna survived with a 3-2 overtime win over Delta Hockey Academy last game, but on Saturday, victory looked like a long shot early in the first period. A pair of BWC goals from Kadyn O鈥橞rien put BWC in front, giving RHA Kelowna a real test after never having trailed in Friday鈥檚 clash with Delta. However, slowly but surely, RHAK made up the deficit. Nate Macphee scored late in the first to cut the lead听in half听and Reid Rabinovitch tied the game at two through two periods of play. With the game square going into the last twenty minutes, Jack Brown threw a sharp-angle shot on goal early in the third, surprising the goaltender and sliding the go-ahead goal home. Brown鈥檚 goal stood as the game-winner, completing RHAK鈥檚 comeback win.听

Finally, late in the second, Maria Facca (1G, 1A) broke through to give SAHA the lead. Now in front, SAHA, who outshot their opponent 52-17 in the game, struck the knockout blow. Teylor Crocker scored on the powerplay with just under three quarters of the third period to play, her second goal in as many games to make it 2-0. SAHA saw it out from there, with goaltender Mika Yokota still making 17 saves for the shutout win.听

Notre Dame Hounds听(4)听vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy听(2)听U18 Prep听

The Notre Dame Hounds鈥� U18 Prep team haven鈥檛 had an awesome season. Their results and goal differential tell a story of a team struggling to compete, but Saturday night was a complete turnaround. The Hounds, previous to Saturday, last won on October 12. PMHA put up a fight, but after Notre Dame took a lead in the first period through a Thomas Beaton goal, PMHA听couldn鈥檛听find themselves a lead from there on out. Bende Szongoth (1G, 2A) scored on the powerplay in the third period to give Notre Dame a 3-2 lead, one that would be added to later in the period to secure Notre Dame a 4-2 win. Massive credit should be given to Quinn Badeau in the Hounds鈥� crease who made 36 saves on 38 shots for the win.听

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna听(2)听vs Prairie Hockey Academy听(11)听U17听

Prairie Hockey Academy鈥檚 Kase Gellner (3G, 2A) did all the damage he needed to do in the first period alone, notching a hat-trick in the first 18:23 alone. His team would continue scoring even after leading 6-0 through one period, with Soren Hayden (1G, 5A) leading the way with six points. The eventual 11-2 win for Prairie now gives PHA five straight wins, with their last loss now all the way back on December 12, besting the Northern Alberta Xtreme, OHA Edmonton, BWC Academy, Okanagan Hockey Academy, and finally RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna on their red-hot streak.听

Cole Gann (3G) led the way with a natural hat trick, including a shorthanded goal in the first period and two even-strength tallies in the third, while Laine Kauffman (1G) and Nehemiah Plunkett (1G) rounded out the scoring. Kaiden听Turta听tied the game 1:41 into the second as he beat Elias听Mitrikas听(30/32) for his fifth of the season.听Defenseman Sean Murphy听(1G, 1A)听scored his first of the season to put North Shore ahead less than five minutes later and an Ethan Patterson shorthanded goal 2:58 later put them up 3-1 midway through the game.听Tyler Stefani would get one back for Wenatchee late in the second as they trailed by one heading into the third. North Shore would outshoot Wenatchee 14-7 in the third to deny the home squad the opportunity at tying the game and earning their first win of the season.听听

Delta Hockey Academy White (5) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) U15听

Tyler Rydberg (40/41) and Dylan Van Wieren (45/50) kept clean sheets in the first as the game remained scoreless heading into the second. Luke Bowes broke the deadlock with the first goal of the game for Pacific Coast 9:34 into the second. Delta White tied the game a few minutes later as Grayson Sears scored his seventh of the year. Sajan Chatha (3G) then took over, recording a natural hat-trick in a span of 1:46, with his first goal coming just 32 seconds after Sears tied the game. Cruz Natt secured the Delta White win with a power play goal 1:43 into the third, his eighth goal of the season.

Calgary International Hockey Academy (3) vs OHA Edmonton (9) U15 Prep听

After CIHA handed OHA Edmonton their first regulation loss of the season yesterday, the home side responded with a 9-3 thrashing of the visitors. OHA Edmonton grabbed a 4-0 lead in the first and never looked back as Artello Forestal (3G) recorded a hat-trick and Kelson Hawreluik (2, 1A) and Micah Montgomery (1G, 2A) each added three points. Rowen Germain (24/27) made 24 saves in net for the winning, giving up goals to Kai Dingwall, Ryder Lefaivre (1G, 1A) and Eric Sexton.听

BWC Academy (4) vs OHA Edmonton (2) U17听

Liam MacMillan scored the lone goal in the first period as OHA Edmonton led 1-0 after 20. Eric Prexler (2G, 1A) scored 26 seconds into the second to tie the game and again midway through the second to put BWC Academy ahead 2-1. Jackson Konelsky would send the two teams into the intermission tied 2-2 as he scored his fourth of the season on Nolan Costa (42/44) late in the frame. Max Joseph (1G, 2A) scored the eventual game winner for BWC Academy 3:55 into the third and Ben Bury added an insurance marker with 5:50 remaining to secure the 4-2 win late Saturday night. Maxime Poitras (28/32) was in net for OHA Edmonton in the loss.

STAR Hockey Academy (3) vs BWC Academy (15) U15听

STAR scored the first goal of the game but that was their lone bright spot as BWC Academy beat them 15-3 Saturday night. Owen Chapman (3G, 4A) and U15 December Player of the Month Alex Iaichkin (2G, 3A) led the way offensively while William Houle (16/19) made 16 saves in net for BWC Academy. Mason Layher (2G) scored two of the three STAR goals in the loss.

Yale Hockey Academy (9) vs North Shore Warriors (1) U15听

Max Nicholson (1G, 3A) opened the scoring 5:11 in as he scored the lone first period goal to give Yale a 1-0 lead. Max Darlow tied the game on the power play just 47 seconds into the second but Yale would respond with eight unanswered, including five in the third, to claim the 9-1 win. Mason Baptiste (26/27) made 26 saves for the win, Emmett Rumbold (3G, 1A) recorded a hat-trick, and Brady Barrett (1G, 4A) led all skaters with five points.
