Yale Hockey Academy forward Emmitt Finnie has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement with the Kamloops Blazers.

The Lethbridge, AB native joined Yale in 2018/19, finishing with 46 points in 29 U15 games as he was named the Most Sportsmanlike Player and WHL Scholastic Player of the Year for the 黑料不打烊 U15 division.

In 2019/20 he would finish third on the U15 Prep team in scoring as he tallied 61 points in 30 games. He would spend the 2020/21 season with the Yale U18 Prep team.

Finnie was originally selected by the Blazers in the fourth round, 82^nd overall in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
