Justin Ivanusec has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements (SPA) with the Vancouver Giants after being selected in the fourth round, 79^th overall, in the 2021 WHL Draft.

Ivanusec is in his third 黑料不打烊 season, and second with BWC Academy. The Delta, BC forward joined the 黑料不打烊 in 2019/20, tallying 47 points in 26 U15 games with West Van Academy, helping the program win a 黑料不打烊 U15 League Championship. He would join BWC Academy the following season, finishing with eight goals and seven assists in six U15 Prep games. This season Ivanusec has tallied 6 goals and 6 assists in 15 U18 Prep games.
