Holden Tuttle (2G, 1A) would score on the power play 4:04 into the game as St. George’s took a 1-0 lead. Tuttle would score again 5:34 into the second to double the lead before Darwin Ketch (2G) and Spencer Currie scored back-to-back goals 2:06 apart to tie the game. St. George’s would lead after 40 as Alex Rode scored another power play goal 1:12 later. It would look like that would hold up as the eventual game winner, but Ketch would score on the power play with less than two minutes to play to even the score and force extra time. In OT, a great individual effort by Cache Thomas would lead to him beating Joffrey Chan (43/47) with a move to the backhand to secure the Shawnigan 4-3 victory. Ìý

Saskatoon Blades prospect Alexander Sharman (2G, 2A) scored just 27 seconds in before doubling the RHA Kelowna lead late in the period with his third of the playoffs. Griffin Hoy extended the lead 6:30 into the second as RHA Kelowna looked set to run away with the game. Affiliate player Cole Schellenberg would get OHA on the board late in the period to stop the bleeding before Cooper Giarraputo made it a one goal game 3:18 into the third. OHA would continue to push but Kaius Millan (2G, 2A) put the game to bed with 4:54 remaining, taking a Sharman feed and going back hand shelf on the breakaway. Millan then added an empty netter with 2:21 left to play, putting the game well out of reach. Charlie Schmitt would add a goal with nine seconds left, stripping an OHA defender and beating an unexpecting Tyson Kuiack (21/26). Matthew Palmer (30/32) made 30 saves in net for the win.

In the final game of the day CIHA would erase a 3-1 deficit to grab a 4-3 win and a spot in the U17 Prep Western Championship Finals against the defending champs, RHA Kelowna. CIHA led 1-0 after 20 as Sutton Hodgetts scored the lone first period goal but Cole Ewonchuk and Atley Feniuk (1G, 1A) countered for RHA Winnipeg in the second. Murphy Johnston doubled the RHA Winnipeg advantage 2:45 into the third as he scored his first of the playoffs. However, the tide began to chance less than two minutes later as Tomas Figura (1G, 1A) made it a one goal game with his third. Keegan Brown would even the score 3:14 later and Rylan Wood (1G, 1A) completed the comeback with a power play goal with 7:22 remaining. Colton Lutz (33/36) and Miller Fettes (28/32) were in net for their respective teams.
