Eli Strum would get one back for theÌýHighlanders,Ìýbut Christian Belliveau (2G, 1A) would scoreÌýunder a minute later to restore Mount’s lead. Belliveau would extend Mount’s lead early in the third on the powerplay, continuing to impressÌýon his current 10-game point streak. However, KESÌýwouldn’tÌýcount themselves out of this contest.ÌýDylan MacAvoy (1G, 2A) would bring the Highlanders back to within one on their own powerplay opportunity. After trailing 1-0 through the first period, OllieÌýHalowatyÌýwould bag a shorthanded goal for OHA Penticton with an impressive display of hand-eye coordination.ÌýNear the end of the second, RHA Kelowna would find their footing, scoring twice in the final four minutes thanks to efforts from Aiden AndrewsÌýand Alexander Sharman (1G, 2A). In the third, LukeÌýEdgehouseÌýwould bring OHA Penticton back to within one,Ìýhis 17thÌýof the season. Just under three minutes later, Beckham TaggertÌý(1G, 2A) would net the game tying goal. OHA Penticton’s early third period pressure may have put RHA Kelowna on their heels, butÌýthey would prevail soon after. Alexander would bury his 10thÌýof the campaign on a powerplay opportunity, wiring one after receiving a cross-ice feed from Colton DeschampsÌý(1G, 1A). Alexander would also go on to bury the EN goal,Ìýallowing RHA Kelowna to complete the season sweep against OHA Penticton. In goal, Dylan Mingo (51/54) posted another valiant performance, steering aside 51 shots and improving his record to 11-3-0. The Peachland, BC nativeÌýhas recorded six wins when making 40 or more saves this season.Ìý

Fort Erie continued their recent surge in this matchup, grinding out a 5–3 win over Okanagan Hockey Ontario in a game defined by special‑teams swings, relentless shot volume, and a second‑period surge thatÌýultimately heldÌýup. After a scoreless first, FEIA blew the game open with three goals in three minutes by BrandonÌýMirotaÌý(1G), Jayden Goolab (1G, 1A) on the power play, and Etienne Guo (1G), a burst that briefly threatened to turn the night into a runaway. OHO finally found life when Michael Champagne (1G) and Joshua Moncrieff (2G) struck six minutes apart to cut the deficit to one, but discipline issues kept killing their momentum, and the third period swung back Fort Erie’s way. Elisei Melikian (1G, 1A) buried a power‑play dagger early in the frame, and Zachary Girard (1G) added insurance minutes later before Moncrieff’s second offered a late push that never truly threatened. SawyerÌýTengumÌý(46/51) battled under siege, but BrunoÌýJeschonnekÌý(27/30) delivered the steadier night behind a FEIA group that controlled pace, possession, and the game’s biggest moments.Ìý

 

Bishop’s College School (12) vs CIH Academy (2) East U17 PrepÌý

 

The first period of Friday’s game between Bishop’s College School and CIH Academy was enough to put things well out of CIH’s reach, especially considering five goals hit the back of the net in less than two and a half minutes at one point. BCS hit the opposition net with 33 shots in the first period and took an 8-0 lead into the second, led by two from Dominik Bickos (3G, 1A), who would eventually go on to finish a hat-trick. Elliott Correia (1G, 3A) also chipped in with four points, with the lead established early too significant a deficit for CIH to make up. BCS ended the game with 86 shots on goal in a 12-2 win.

 

South Alberta Hockey Academy (3) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (0) U17 PrepÌý

 

Only once previously had South Alberta Hockey Academy and Pilot Mound Hockey Academy’s U17 Prep squads faced off this season, a 6-3 South Alberta win in which a late push from PMHA couldn’t save them from SAHA’s previous offensive output. The first forty minutes of play on Friday belonged to the goaltenders, with both Paxton Smigelski (25/25) and Gavin Hildebrand (41/44) stopping every shot they’d face through two. Finally, come the third, goals from Lucas Fisher and Eric Schrock (1G, 1A), 53 seconds apart in the early stages, set SAHA up in a good position.Ìý Smigelski stopped all seven shots the Buffaloes managed to direct at his net in the third, completing a 25-save shutout, and Nixon Bettenson would add another late to seal SAHA’s 3-0 win over PMHA.

 

Prairie Hockey Academy (4) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U15Ìý

 

Three relatively evenly-fought clashes on the 2025 side of the calendar between Prairie Hockey Academy and the Notre Dame Hounds ended in PHA leading the season series 2-1, but in the two games that PHA and Notre Dame contested in 2026, there wasn’t nearly as much evenly-matched hockey seen, with PHA prevailing 8-2 in both games. Friday’s clash threatened to get out of hand in the first period, with PHA outshooting Notre Dame 19-2 in the first twenty minutes, only held back by Cole Kuzyk (52/56), who impressed in between the Hounds’ pipes throughout. Deklan Street (3G) scored with 15 seconds left in the first to give Prairie a 1-0 lead through one, a goal which wouldn’t be Prairie’s only crucial strike coming late in a period in the game. Aleksi Houle-Lewis scored on a second-period powerplay to draw the Hounds level, but Prairie struck in the last minute yet again, as Griffon Eaton sent his team into the third period up 2-1. PHA’s captain, Deklan Street, made it 3-1 with his second of the game with just over five minutes left to play, hoping that would be enough. Notre Dame pulled back within one, but 12 seconds after they did so, Strete completed his hat-trick, sealing the deal with his third of the day.

 

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (2) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (4) U17 PrepÌý

 

The Okanagan Hockey Academy made one trip to Idaho early in the season, beating Coeur d’Alene 4-3 in the first and losing 6-5 in the second of two games on consecutive days. It took until the end of the season for the sides to clash again. Cooper Giarraputo (1G, 1A) gave OHA the lead through one, added to by Bennett Wheatley and Beckham Taggart in the second to see OHA into the third period ahead 3-0. CDA’s third-period pushback was impressive and productive, with Camden Masterson making it 3-1 early and Tyler Karchut pulling his team within one with just under five minutes left. OHA held on at the end, with Tyson Kuiack (32/34) shutting things down long enough for Ollie Halowaty to hit the empty-net and seal Okanagan’s victory.
