The Kraken selected the Langley, BC defenseman in the fifth round, 148th overall at the 2023 NHL Draft.

Hammell spent two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with the North Shore Warriors (previously the West Van Warriors). During the 2018/19 U15 Prep season he tallied 10 points in 22 games. The following U15 Prep campaign he recorded 12 goals and 29 assists in 29 games, leading to the Kamloops Blazers selecting him in the first round,19th overall at the 2020 WHL Draft.

After playing seven games with the team in 2020/21, he would join the Blazers full time in 2021/22, posting 14 points in 57 games. He would split the 2022/23 season between the Blazers and Everett Silvertips, finishing with 26 points in 67 games.

Hammell finished his WHL career with the Silvertips, producing 63 points in 111 games the last two seasons, including a career high 38 in 2024/25 as he captained the team.

Along with winning the Calder Memorial Trophy, Bedard was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team after leading all NHL rookies with 39 assists, 22 goals, and 61 points. He was named the NHL Rookie of the Month in November, December and March.

Bedard made 黑料不打烊 history when he was selected first overall at the 2023 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, making him the highest selected player in 黑料不打烊 history.

The North Vancouver, BC forward spent two season in the 黑料不打烊 with the West Van Academy (now North Shore Warriors). After putting up a 黑料不打烊 best 64 goals and 88 assists in 2018/19, he was named the 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep MVP.

In 2019/20, as an underage player, Bedard would lead the U18 Prep division with 43 goals and 84 points on his way to being named 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep MVP. Despite playing just two seasons in the 黑料不打烊, his 110 career 黑料不打烊 regular season goals is second most in a career in 黑料不打烊 history.

Bedard would become the first player in WHL history to be granted Exceptional Status ahead of the 2020 WHL Draft. The Regina Pats would select him first overall. He would finish his WHL career with 134 goals and 137 assists in 134 WHL games over three seasons with the Pats.

Krog will work with in the Canucks organization both in Vancouver, and with their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate in Abbotsford.

A veteran of over 200 NHL games, Krog joined West Van Academy, now the North Shore Warriors, as head coach of their U15 team for the 2019/20 season. That season he would lead West Van to a 28-2-0 record and their second straight 黑料不打烊 U15 Western Championship.

He would join BWC Academy for three seasons at the U15 and U15 Prep level, working in both the head coach and assistant coach role. This past season, while still with BWC Academy, he would join Simon Fraser University of the BCIHL as a Hockey Advisor.

Krog replaces former 黑料不打烊 coach Yogi Svejkovsky, who was promoted by the Canucks to an Assistant Coach role last week.聽

Osborne spent the 2021/22 U16 Prep season in the 黑料不打烊 with West Van Academy. In 32 games the Maple Ridge, BC defenseman recorded 4 goals and 15 assists.

Quinn Abbott played three seasons in the 黑料不打烊. The North Vancouver, BC defenseman joined West Van Academy for the 2018/19 U15 season, finishing with 17 points in 30 games. The following year he would tally 5 points in 24 U15 Prep games with West Van. Abbott spent the 2022/23 season with the BWC Academy U18 Prep team. In 32 games he scored 5 goals and assisted on 19 more.

A defenseman from Cobden, ON, Wyatt Davis played two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Notre Dame. He would play seven games for Notre Dame U15 Prep team in 2019/20, recording two assists. In 2021/22 Davis would finish fourth in team scoring while leading all Notre Dame U17 Prep defensemen with 12 goals, 23 assists and 35 points in 30 games.

Originally from St. John’s, NL, Conor Ryan headed west to Shawnigan Lake School for the 2022/23 U18 Prep season. In 32 games he would finish fifth in team scoring while leading Shawnigan defensemen with 9 goals, 19 assists and 28 points.

Selected in the seventh round, 142nd overall by the Prince George Cougars at the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft, Garrett Thom spent two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with OHA Edmonton, During the 2020/21 season the Edmonton, AB forward recorded three points in three U15 Prep games. The following season Thom would tally 6 goals and 11 assists in 33 U18 Prep games. He would play in four games for the Crusaders this past season, finishing with one goal.

A forward from Wimborne, AB, Drew Williamson joined the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) for the 2022/23 U18 Prep season. In 33 games the seventh round, 152nd overall selection by the Brandon Wheat Kings at the 2021 WHL Draft, would record 6 goals and 16 assists.

Mason joined BWC Academy’s U16 Prep team for the 2017/18 season, recording 16 points in 35 games. The Vancouver, BC forward would play for the West Van Academy U18 Prep team the following two seasons, finishing with 5 goals and 15 assists in 72 games.

In 2020/21 Mason would head to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) with the Swan Valley Stampeders, spending three seasons with the team. In 110 MJHL games Mason tallied 14 goals and 21 assists.

Located in Dudley, MA, Nichols College is an NCAA Division III program.

Selected first overall by the Blackhawks at the 2023 NHL Draft, Bedard played two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with West Van Academy (now known as North Shore Warriors). During the 2018/19 U15 Prep season the North Vancouver, BC forward would lead all skaters with 64 goals and 88 points in 30 games while being named the 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep Division MVP. His 64 goals are still a single season 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep record.

Bedard would be granted exceptional status in 2019/20, allowing him to play in the U18 Prep division at just 14 years old. He would again lead the division in goals (43) and points (84), earning 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep Division MVP honours. Despite playing just two seasons and 68 games in the 黑料不打烊, Bedard ranks second all time with 110 goals and 11th with 176 points.

At the conclusion of the season the Regina Pats would select Bedard first overall at the 2020 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft. After a brief stint in Sweden due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bedard would become the first player in WHL history to earn exceptional status, allowing him to join the league a year early, as a 15 year old. That season Bedard would tally 12 goals and 16 assists in 15 WHL games, all tops among WHL Rookies, earning him the WHL Rookie of the Year Award. Bedard would also represent Team Canada at the U18 World Championships, scoring 7 goals and 7 assists in 7 games as he was named to the All-Star team and a Top 3 Player on Canada, helping Canada capture gold.

During the 2020/21 season, as a 16 year old, Bedard would finish second among WHL skaters in goals (51) and fourth in points (100). His 51 goals were 24 more than next highest on his team, while his 100 points were 31 more than next closest. His 49 assists were also tops among Pats skaters as he earned WHL (East) First All-Star Team honours.

Bedard would captain Team Canada at the 2021 U18 World Championships, recording seven points in four games while again being named a Top 3 Player on Canada. He would also play for Canada at the 2022 U20 World Juniors, finishing with eight points in seven games as Canada captured gold.

This season Bedard would lead all WHL skaters with 71 goals (21 more than second), 72 assists and 143 points (36 more than second). His impressive WHL season would earn him the following awards:

Charlie Elick, Jordan Gavin, Ollie Josephson, Cayden Lindstrom, Ryder Ritchie and Carson Wetsch were all selected to represent Team Canada at this years tournament.

A defenseman from Calgary, AB, Elick spent the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons with Edge School, capturing the 2022 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep Division Top Defenseman Award. The Brandon Wheat Kings selected Elick in the first round, third overall at the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft.

Gavin played three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 including the 2019/20 and 2021/22 seasons with Delta Hockey Academy, and the 2020/21 season with St. George’s School. Gavin would capture the 2022 黑料不打烊 U17 Prep Western Championship with Delta while leading the league in goals (46). The Tri-City Americans selected him second overall at the 2021 WHL Draft.

The fifth overall selection by the Red Deer Rebels at the 2021 WHL Draft, Josephson played two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy U15 Prep team. In 31 games the Victoria, BC forward finished with 42 points.

Lindstrom spent the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons with Delta and won a 2022 黑料不打烊 U17 Prep Western Championship alongside Gavin. The Chetwynd, BC forward was a third round selection by the Medicine Hat Tigers at the 2021 WHL Draft.

The 2022-23 WHL Rookie of the Year Award Winner, Ritchie was drafted in the first round, 14th overall by the Prince Albert Raiders at the 2021 WHL Draft. Prior to his WHL career he spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Pursuit of Excellence/RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna.

A forward from North Vancouver, BC, Wetsch played three seasons in the 黑料不打烊, joining West Van Academy for the 2019/20 season. He would spend the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons with BWC Academy, capturing a 2022 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep Western Championship. Wetsch was selected in the first round, 12th overall at the 2021 WHL Draft by the Calgary Hitmen.

The 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup will take place July 31 to August 5, 2023 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
