A forward from Camden, New Jersey, Greig will join her brother and Senators forward Ridly in Ottawa after she signed a two year contract with the Charge. Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2024 PWHL Draft, Greig has recorded 5 points in 58 games the last two seasons with the Montreal Victoire, winning a PWHL Championship with the squad this past season.

Greig spent five seasons in the NCAA with Colgate University and the University of Wisconsin, recording 132 points in 175 games. She would play three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with the Pursuit of Excellence (now RHA Kelowna) Female U18 Prep team, posting 150 points in 65 games, placing her seventh All-Time amongst 黑料不打烊 Female skaters in points. Her 100 assists put her fourth All-Time.

MacKinnon has re-signed with the Boston Fleet after joining the club for the 2025/26 season, posting 1 point in 28 games. The Cranbrook, BC defenseman went undrafted to the PWHL in 2024, but joined the Toronto Sceptres, tallying 2 points in 22 games.

She would play five seasons with the University of British Columbia, recording 81 points in 126 U SPORTS games, earning U SPORTS All-Rookie Team honours in 2018/19, Canada West First Team All-Star and Top Defender Award in 2021/22, Canada West Second Team All-Star in 2022/23, and Canada West First Team All-Star and U SPORTS First Team All-Star in 2023/24.

Prior to her U SPORTS career, MacKinnon spent played three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with the Northern Alberta Xtreme, posting 33 points in 48 games while being named 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep MVP and Top Defenseman in 2017/18.

Markowski has signed a two year deal with PWHL Detroit, after spending the last two seasons with the Ottawa Charge. The fourth round pick at the 2024 PWHL Draft has 10 points in 58 PWHL games.

The Edmonton, AB defenseman played four seasons with Clarkson University before finishing her NCAA career with Ohio State University, producing 92 points in 173 games while winning an NCAA Championship with Clarkson in 2023/24. Markowski played two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 alongside Greig with the Pursuit of Excellence, posting 58 points in 45 games while winning the 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep Top Defenseman Award in 2018/19.

Shirley has signed a two year deal and will return to the Fleet for her fourth season with the squad, having recorded 19 points in 70 PWHL games. The Saskatoon, SK forward originally joined the Fleet after being selected in the 11th round of the inaugural 2023 PWHL Draft.

She would play five seasons in the NCAA with the University of Wisconsin, ending her college career with 189 points in 177 games, and three NCAA Championships, while twice being named a Top Female Collegiate Player of the Year Finalist. A two time U18 Silver Medalist with Team Canada, Shirley spent the 2016/17 黑料不打烊 season with Okanagan Hockey Academy, posting 27 points in 15 games as she was named the first ever Female U18 Prep MVP in 黑料不打烊 history.

Schaefer recently captured a bronze medal with Team Switzerland at the 2026 Winter Olympics, playing in all seven games as her team earned their first podium appearance since Sochi 2014. This was her third time representing Switzerland, and first at the Olympics.

A forward with the University of British Columbia, Schaefer is in her second U SPORTS season. After tallying 6 points in 25 games and being named to the U SPORTS (West) All-Rookie Team last season, she had 14 in 21 this year.

Schaefer spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Delta Hockey Academy from 2020-23. In 50 games she would tally 47 points, including a career high 25 points during the 2022/23 season.

Clark spent the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons with Okanagan Hockey Academy and currently plays for the Ottawa Charge in the PWHL. The Saskatoon, SK forward has been a mainstay for Team Canada, having won two silvers and a gold previously at the Olympics. Clark had two goals and an assist in seven games at the 2026 Winter Olympics to help Team Canada to a silver medal.

Schaefer spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Delta Hockey Academy from 2020-23. This was her third time representing Switzerland, and first at the Olympics. The University of British Columbia forward played all seven games for Switzerland, helping the team earn a bronze medal, their first podium appearance since Sochi 2014.

A member of the PWHL’s Vancouver Goldeneyes, Nina Jobst-Smith competed for Team Germany at the 2026 Olympics, her first Olympics experience and sixth time playing for her National Team. The defenseman spent the 2019/20 黑料不打烊 season with Okanagan Hockey Academy, before playing NCAA hockey with the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

With Schaefer and Jobst-Smith making their Olympic debuts, seven 黑料不打烊 alumnae have now represented their country in the Winter Olympics.聽

Hiddleston started playing hockey at the age of five for the Hollyburn Huskies in West Vancouver. She played there for a couple years before moving to South Surrey, joining the Surrey Falcons for a couple years.

She would then then quit hockey in 2012 to focus on playing soccer. After a couple years away from the game, she quit soccer to return to hockey halfway through the season in 2014. However, at this time, the only position available was goalie.

Hiddleston would transition from player to netminder when she was 12 years-old and in grade 7. Her first full year of being a goaltender was in grade 8, making her a late bloomer to the position. She played as a goalie for the Falcons on the Bantam Prep Team for two years.

Despite her late start in net, Hiddleston caught the eye of Delta Hockey Academy, joining the team Female U18 Varsity team for their inaugural year of the female program in 2016.

鈥淲hen Delta reached out to me to join their program, my family and I were very interested in the program due to its focus on combining academic and athletic success,鈥� said Hiddleston. 鈥淚 wanted to be in a high-performance environment that would push me to grow both as an athlete and as a person. I was drawn to the structure of the program where I was exposed to intense training, competitive gameplay, and academic support, which was exactly what I needed to prepare for the next level, both in hockey and in school.鈥�

Hiddleston spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Delta. She posted a 1.18 GAA and .947 SV% in 16 games during her first season in the Female U18 Varsity Division, before recording a 2.48 GAA and .912SV% in her final two seasons with the Delta Female U18 Prep team.

Her time and success at Delta would earn her the opportunity to play U SPORT hockey for the University of British Columbia (UBC) Thunderbirds.

鈥淭here are many aspects of the Delta Hockey Academy and the 黑料不打烊 that helped me feel confident and prepared for the demands of playing hockey at the university level,鈥� remarked Hiddleston. 鈥淚 am very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn time management skills in this program prior to university, as that is a significant challenge faced by many in student-athletes during university.鈥�

While at UBC, Hiddleston studied Kinesiology with a focus on Multidisciplinary Science, though it took some time to find the career path that was right for her.

鈥淚n the first couple years of university, I thought I would choose a career path in physiotherapy or occupational therapy, however, I quickly changed my career path to teaching, when I got opportunities to coach and engage in classes that focused on teaching and coaching pedagogy.鈥�

Hiddleston is currently finishing the education program at UBC, and has been hired to TTOC (Teacher Teaching on Call) in the Vancouver and Delta school districts.

鈥淚 had an amazing time during my practicum teaching Physical and Health Education at Eric Hamber Secondary in Vancouver. It was at this school where I fell in love with teaching and knew I had picked the right career path for me. What I really enjoy is how my background as an athlete and coach naturally supports my teaching. Whether I鈥檓 in the classroom or on the ice, I aim to create a positive, inclusive space where students feel challenged and supported,鈥� added Hiddleston.

While Hiddleston will start her teaching career in the fall, it will also mark her return to Delta and beginning of her coaching career. She will take on the role as an assistant coach with the Delta Female U15 team, an expansion team to the Delta program.

鈥淒uring the past six years, I stayed connected with the staff at Delta, and when the opportunity came up to return as a coach, I knew it was the right fit. Delta had such a positive impact on my life, and I鈥檓 excited to give back to a program that shaped me into the individual I am today.鈥�

Delta Vice President Owen Pighin noted the success Hiddleston has had, and the excitement level that comes with her expected success in her return to Delta.

鈥淜nowing Reese from day one at Delta Hockey Academy makes this a very special moment. Coming back to coach and teach at Delta is a great example of what success can look like for our student-athletes. Reese has always been a very focused person and has the ability to take on challenges with a very calm demeanour. Whether it will be coaching or teaching our student athletes, we are excited and are looking forward in our next chapter at Delta Hockey Academy with Reese.鈥�

Hiddleston will hope to use her previous time at Delta and UBC, which she reflected on in a positive light, to inspire the next generation of female athletes.

鈥淲hat I鈥檓 most excited about is mentoring student-athletes the way my coaches once mentored me. I want to support them in setting goals, learning to lead, and becoming confident both on and off the ice.鈥�

The White Rock, BC forward was recently named the Brodrick Trophy Recipient as the MVP of the 2024/25 U SPORTS Women鈥檚 Hockey Season. Along with being named U SPORTS MVP, Elliott was named a First Team All-Canadian, and Canada West Player of the Year.

This season Elliott led the country with 22 goals and 42 total points in 28 games while setting University of British Columbia program records in both categories.

Elliott joined UBC in 2021/22, producing 9 points in 18 games during her freshman season. She would jump to 23 points in 2022/23 and 21 points in 2023/24, before exploding this season for 42.

Prior to her time with UBC, Elliott spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Delta Hockey Academy. In 53 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep games Elliott tallied 29 goals and 24 assists.

Morris was recently named a Canada West Women’s Hockey First Team All-Star with the University of British Columbia. In 28 games this season the Maple Ridge, BC defenseman tallied 7 goals and 10 assists. Last season Morris would be named a Canada West Women’s Hockey First Team All-Rookie after posting 4 goals and 12 assists in 23 games with UBC.

Priort to her U SPORTS career, Morris spent five seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Delta Hockey Academy. Joining the program in 2018/19, Morris would suit up in 104 Female U18 Prep games, recording 16 goals and 35 assists.

Edge School Grade 12 student-athlete, Elle Lorenz, has been a mainstay on the blueline for Edge鈥檚 hockey program for five seasons. A consistent force on the ice, Elle has carved out a path in hockey that will lead her to the University of British Columbia next season to play with the Thunderbirds.

While she has thrived on the ice, proving herself as a competitor, she has also faced a side of the game that no athlete should have to endure. During her first two seasons playing on an Edge hockey team, Elle suited up in a male U15 division (which only had a few females in it). Being one of the few females playing in the division, it wasn鈥檛 rare to face verbal abuse from opponents for simply for being a girl playing with the boys.

Yet, instead of letting those experiences break her, Elle has used them as fuel to advocate for change. Now a vocal leader at Edge, Elle has taken her story beyond the rink, inspiring younger students to embrace their own journeys in sport鈥攔egardless of gender. For the past few years, she has spoken to Edge Grade 6 students about the importance of gender equality in athletics, fostering conversations about inclusivity, respect, and well-being. Her message is clear: sports should be a place where all athletes feel valued and supported 鈥� free from the limitations of outdated stereotypes.

Elle鈥檚 advocacy extends beyond words. Through her dedication and presence on the ice, she challenges the notion of who belongs in hockey. She is a reminder that talent and determination know no gender, and that every athlete鈥攏o matter their background鈥攄eserves the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

Her journey is far from over, but Elle has already made an undeniable impact. By breaking barriers and standing up for what鈥檚 right, she鈥檚 not just changing the game鈥攕he鈥檚 helping to change the future of women in sports.

MacKinnon made her PWHL debut with Toronto on November 30, tallying 1 assist in a 3-1 win over the Boston Fleet.

Undrafted at the 2024 PWHL Draft, MacKinnon is one of two players making history in the PWHL this season. MacKinnon and Emmy Fecteau have become the first players to graduate directly from U SPORTS hockey and make the jump straight to the PWHL. Carley Olivier became the first U SPORTS graduate to play in a PWHL game last season after signing a reserve contract, but MacKinnon and Fecteau will be the first on full-time contracts.

MacKinnon joined the 黑料不打烊 in 2015/16 with the NAX Female U18 Prep team. Her first two seasons with NAX saw her record 13 points in 28 games. The Cranbrook, BC defender would take a massive step forward for the 2017/18 season, tallying 4 goals and 16 assists in 20 games while being named the 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep Top Defenseman and MVP.

She would join the University of British Columbia for the 2018/19 U SPORTS season, earning Canada West All-Rookie Team honours after posting 15 points in 28 games. She would wrap up her U SPORTS career in 2023/24 with a career high 22 points in 26 games to earn Canada West First Team All-Star honours. Overall, in 126 U SPORTS games MacKinnon tallied 34 goals and 47 assists.

Defenseman Jaylyn Morris has spent the last five seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Delta Hockey Academy. The Maple Ridge, BC product joined the program in 2018/19, spending two seasons with the Delta Female U17 team. In 46 games she would record 20 points.

Morris would suit-up for the Delta Female U18 Prep team for the next three seasons, tallying 14 points in 2021/22 and a team high among defensemen 22 points in 30 games this season. Her season would earn her a nomination for the 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep Top Defenseman Award.

Hanna Perrier joined the 黑料不打烊 for the 2020/21 season, spending two seasons with the Edge School Female U18 Prep team. During the 2021/22 season she would tally 11 goals and 8 assists in 27 games.

This season the Calgary, AB forward would play 29 games for the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) Female U18 Prep team, finishing fifth in points with 20.

Located in Vancouver, B.C., UBC is a U SPORTS program competing in the Canada West Conference.

The Penticton, BC product spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with her hometown OHA. During the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons with the OHA Female U17 Prep team Gracia recorded 6 points in 23 games. This past campaign she would add 2 goals and 2 assists in 27 games with the OHA Female U18 Prep team.

Located in Vancouver, BC, UBC is a U SPORTS program competing in the Canada West division.
