Upper joined Edge for the 2014/15 U15 season, tallying 10 points in 13 games. The following U15 Prep campaign he would record 16 points in 25 games. The Calgary, AB defender would take a step offensively the next season, finishing with 34 points in 27 U16 Prep games. During the 2017/18 season he would tally 29 points in 33 U18 Prep games with Edge.

Undrafted to the WHL, Upper would join the Prince George Cougars in 2018/19. He would spend three seasons in the WHL with the Cougars, ending his WHL career with 18 goals and 33 assists in 151 games.

After his WHL career he would head to the University of Calgary and play three U SPORTS seasons with the Dinos. In 62 games Upper had 13 goals and 20 assists.

Williamson spent the last three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with OHA. The Weyburn, SK product joined the program in 2019/20, recording 10 points in 24 games with the OHA Female U17 Prep team.

She would add four points in nine Female U18 Prep games the following season while finishing second among OHA Female U18 defenseman in goals (3), assists (11) and points (14) this past season.

The University of Saskatchewan is located in Saskatoon, SK, competing in the Canada West U SPORTS division.

“Nugent-Hopkins joins the Lions after a successful tenure with the Greater Vancouver Canadians in the BCEHL.聽 Adam has an extensive background in hockey both as a player and coach.聽 In addition to the GVC program, he has served with the BCHL Coquitlam Express as interim coach.聽 Adam has played hockey at a high level, ultimately reaching U SPORT level before moving on to coaching / training.聽 His wealth of knowledge to the program with respect to off-ice training and sport rehabilitation will further bolster our program.聽 The Yale Lions are thrilled to welcome him on board to the Yale family and guiding our U18 Prep team to a successful season next year!”
