Calvert joined Prairie Hockey Academy in 2017/18, tallying 53 points in 40 U15 Prep games. The following season Prairie would join the 黑料不打烊 at the U16 Prep division. Calvert would lead his team in goals (24) while finishing second in points (41) in 35 games.

The Moose Jaw, SK forward would play five seasons in the WHL with his hometown Warriors, recording 220 points in 237 games while winning a WHL Championship during the 2023/24 season.

Calvert would split the 2024/25 season between the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL, and the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. He would join Wilkes-Barre/Scranton full time in 2025/26, posting 38 points in 70 games.

An additional seven student-athletes were selected as ‘Auto-Protected Picks’ (auto-protected players from an SJHL centre chosen by the respective clubs) prior to the May 26th league deadline.

The SJHL Draft consisted of two rounds of selections of 2011-born players, followed by six rounds of 2010-born players.

A forward from Bakersfield, CA, Jockers recorded 6 goals and 11 assists in 20 games. He would add 9 points in 5 playoff games as Bishop’s were crowned 2026 黑料不打烊 East U18 Prep Champions.

Female U18 Prep: Hayley McDonald, RHA Kelowna

The RHA Kelowna captain and Ohio State University commit tallied 35 points in 26 games, giving her 86 points in 54 career games. McDonald added 10 points in 5 playoff games as RHA Kelowna won their fifth straight 黑料不打烊 Western Championship, with the East St. Paul, MB product being named Playoff MVP.

U15: Zach Giles, Delta Hockey Academy Black

Giles finished fourth in league scoring with 83 points in 36 games. The Aldergrove, BC product had 110 points in 71 career 黑料不打烊 U15 games.

U15 Prep: Micah Montgomery, OHA Edmonton

In his second U15 Prep season, Montgomery finished fourth in league scoring with 63 points in 30 games. A potential first round pick at the 2026 WHL Draft, the Edmonton, AB product had 112 points in 66 U15 Prep games.

U17: Kase Gellner, Prairie Hockey Academy

After tallying 28 points in 34 U17 games last season, Gellner improved his total to 68 this year, finishing third in league scoring.

U17 Prep: Carter Gilchrist, South Alberta Hockey Academy

A sixth round pick by the Victoria Royals at the 2025 WHL Draft, Gilchrist finished second on his team with 33 points in 28 games.

U18 Prep: Ryan Sadovia, RHA Kelowna

The Tri-City Americans prospect tallied 33 points in 29 games, finishing third in team scoring. The Kelowna, BC forward added 7 points in 6 playoff games as he helped RHA Kelowna capture their second straight 黑料不打烊 Western Championship.

Eastern U17 Prep: Eliot Faucher, Stanstead College

Faucher led his team in scoring while finishing second among all U17 Prep defensemen with 28 points in 20 games. The Drummondville, QC defenseman is a finalist for the 黑料不打烊 MVP Award and is a highly regarded prospect ahead of the 2026 QMJHL Draft.

Eastern U18 Prep: Bastien Michaud, Bishop’s College School

A second round pick by the Quebec Remparts at the 2025 QMJHL Draft, Michaud finished with 3 goals and 11 assists in 15 games giving him a 0.93 PTS/GP, fourth among all defensemen. The Trois-Rivieres, QC product added five points in five playoff games as Bishop’s were crowned 2026 黑料不打烊 East U18 Prep Champions.

Female U18 Prep: Sophie Erlam, South Alberta Hockey Academy

Committed to Mercyhurt University, Erlam finished fifth among defensemen in scoring with 24 points, including a defensemen best 15 power play assists. The Edmonton, AB defender played three 黑料不打烊 seasons with SAHA, tallying 49 points in 90 games.

U15: Logan Hooper, BWC Academy

A 2011 born defenseman from Maple Ridge, BC, Hooper finished second among defensemen in assists (35) and fifth in points (44).

U15 Prep: Eli Vickers, Delta Hockey Academy

Regarded as one of the top defenseman available at the 2026 WHL Draft, Vickers led all defensemen with 22 goals and 62 assists, finishing fifth among all skaters in points. Having been part of Delta’s 2025 黑料不打烊 Western Championship team, Vickers had 98 points in 65 career U15 Prep games, second most all time among defensemen.

U17: Kayin Belton, Prairie Hockey Academy & Grayson Holmes, Okanagan Hockey Academy

A 2009 born defender from Saskatoon, SK, Belton finished third among defensemen with 33 points in 32 games.

Holmes led all defensemen with 37 assists and 42 points before adding 7 points in 5 playoff games as OHA earned back-to-back U17 Western Championships.

U17 Prep: Luke Edgehouse, Okanagan Hockey Academy

The Coeur d’Alene, ID product led all defensemen with 17 goals and 34 points in 30 games. His 17 goals and 34 points were second among all OHA skaters.

U18 Prep: Logan Lepinski, BWC Academy

Lepinski led all defensemen and his entire team with 33 assists and 40 points in in 29 games. Having recorded 52 points in 70 career U18 Prep games, the Everett Silvertips prospect is a finalist for the 黑料不打烊 MVP Award.

Eastern U17: Yehor Pyshalko, Ontario Hockey Academy

The Odessa, Ukraine forward tallied a division best 9 goals while finishing third with 13 points in February. His first season in the 黑料不打烊, Pyshalko currently sits inside the top 10 with 16 goals, 22 assists and 38 points, all of which are team bests.

Eastern U18: Grady Betts, King’s-Edgehill School

Betts led the U18 Prep division with 10 assists and 15 points in 5 games for KES. Now in his second 黑料不打烊 season with KES, Betts sits third with 19 assists and fifth in the division with 14 goals and 33 points. The Fredericton, NB forward tallied 11 points in 22 games last season.

Female U18 Prep: Jenna Ring, Edge School

A netminder from Calgary, AB, Ring went 4-0-0 with 1 shutout, a .954SV% and 1.24GAA in February. This season Ring is 9-6-0 with 3 shutouts, a 2.57GAA and .918SV%, after going 9-5-1 with 2 shutouts, a 2.19GAA, and .918SV% last season.

U15: Jagger Clark, Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy

It was an entire season’s worth of production for Clark in his 10 games in February as he led the division with 27 goals, while finishing with 49 points, 1 behind teammate TJ Podollan. This season the Boise, Idaho forward had a 黑料不打烊 single season record of 67 goals, recording 111 points on the year.

U15 Prep: Deacon Gillespie, OHA Edmonton

A 2012 born defenseman from Ponoka, AB, Gillespie led all skaters with 15 assists, while pacing defensemen with 6 goals and 21 points in 10 games. This season he finished with 13 goals and 35 assists, good enough for third among defenders with 48 points.

U17: Kase Gellner, Prairie Hockey Academy

In 11 games in February Gellner finished with a division best 26 points and 14 goals. His 31 goals, 37 assists, and 68 points this season are all good for third among U17 skaters. This is the Southey, SK forwards second season with Prairie, tallying 28 points in 34 U17 games in 2024/25.

U17 Prep: Maddox Slater, Okanagan Hockey Academy

Slater went 5-0-0 with 1 shutout and a division best 1.19GAA and .958SV% in February. This season the St. Andrews, MB netminder has a 12-2-0 record and leads the division with 4 shutouts and a 1.42GAA, while sitting second with a .947SV%. This is Slater’s third season in the 黑料不打烊, having spent a season with OHA in both the U15 and U15 Prep divisions.

U18 Prep: Drake Mooney, Prairie Hockey Academy

The Regina Pats prospect went 4-0-0 with a division best 2 shutouts, 1.49GAA, and .950SV%. This season the Blackfalds, AB netminder sits first with 4 shutouts, third with a 2.13GAA and third with a .932SV%. Mooney spent last season with the Prairie U17 Prep team going 6-10-2 with 1 shutout, a 3.56GAA and .897SV%.

翱苍听Tuesday, January 27, in celebration of聽Family Literacy Week, a group of our U18 Prep players聽(Tyson Ross, Liam Kilfoil, Tristan Hoko, Drake Mooney)聽visited a local elementary school to share their love of reading and learning with younger students. Family Literacy Day, nationally recognized every year on January 27, is part of a week-long initiative in Saskatchewan that encourages families, schools, libraries, and community groups to promote the importance of literacy and learning in everyday life. This year鈥檚 Saskatchewan theme,聽鈥淢ake Mealtime Family Learning Time,鈥�聽highlights how literacy can be part of everyday routines and interactions 鈥� from reading a favourite book to sharing stories at the dinner table.

During the visit, our student-athletes spent time reading books with elementary students, playing games, and leading fun, literacy-focused activities. By engaging with the kids through stories and interactive play, our players helped promote the value of reading, communication, and community involvement. It was a rewarding opportunity for both our athletes and local students to connect, learn, and celebrate literacy together.

The 22 players representing Canada East were selected from the CJHL鈥檚 five eastern leagues – the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL), Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), Ligue de hockey junior AAA du Qu茅bec (LHJAAAQ) and Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL).

The 22 players representing Canada West come from the CJHL鈥檚 four western leagues – the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL).

The 2025 Junior A World Challenge gets underway at Colis茅e Vid茅otron on Dec. 7 when Canada East opens the tournament against the United States at 3 p.m. ET, followed by 2024 bronze medallist Canada West taking on Sweden at 7 p.m. ET. The tournament concludes with the medal games on Dec. 13.

The Weyburn, SK defenseman joined Prairie for the 2023/24 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep season tallying 7 points in 26 games. Last season Huebner playing 36 games with Prairies U17 Prep team recording 2 goals and 14 assists. He would add three points in five playoff games as Prairie made the finals of the 2025 黑料不打烊 Western Championships.

Selected third overall by the Weyburn Red Wings at the 2025 SJHL Draft, Huebner was undrafted to the WHL.
