Sych joined Pursuit of Excellence (POE) for the 2016/17 U15 season, recording 5 points in 25 games. In 2017/18 the Airdie, AB defenseman would play for the Notre Dame U15 Prep team, finishing with 2 points in 19 games.

In 2020/21 Sych would make the jump to junior in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) with the Notre Dame Hounds. He would find the offensive side of his game in 2021/22, recording 35 points in 58 games while being named to the SJHL All-Rookie Team. This season he would set a career high 37 points in 46 SJHL games.

Lind has spent the last two seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with the NAX Female U18 Prep team. During the 2021/22 season the Edmonton, AB netminder would post a 9-8-1-2 record with 1 shutout and a 2.84 GAA and .897 SV%. She would play two playoff games, losing both, but finish with a .952 SV% and 2.05 GAA on 83 shots against.

This season Lind was a nominee for the division’s Top Goaltender Award after going 11-9-1-0 with 3 shutouts, a 2.01 GAA and .932 SV%. Her impressive display helped NAX finish in fourth place during the regular season.
