Mack spent the 2025/26 season as the Director of Scouting for the WHL’s Prince George Cougars, having previously been a scout with the Cougars the prior six seasons.

Prior to his time with the Cougars the Calgary, AB product was a scout with the Seattle Thunderbirds for 10 WHL campaigns, including during the 2016/17 season when the Thunderbirds were crowned WHL Champions.

Mack joined the 黑料不打烊 with BWC Academy during the 2013/14 U16 Prep season. He would spend four seasons with the team, winning a 2017 黑料不打烊 U16 Prep Western Championship. In four seasons with the BWC Academy U16 Prep team he would go 78-28-13.

Starting in 2017/18 he would take over the BWC Academy U15 Prep team, compiling a record of 58-31-7 in four seasons.

In 2021/22 he would join the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX), returning to the U16 Prep division. NAX would finish a division best 32-4-0 before beating second place Edge School in the finals to capture the 2022 黑料不打烊 U16 Prep Western Championship.

Mack would then join Edge School for the following two U15 seasons, going 39-14-2. This past U15 Prep season Mack led Edge School to a 26-8-2 record and second place regular season finish.

Overall, Mack won two 黑料不打烊 Western Championships and went 233-85-24.

Wozniewicz, the 2019/20 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep MVP and 黑料不打烊 Western Champion, played three seasons for Edge School recording 94 points in 53 games. The Cochrane, AB forward joined the University of Wisconsin in 2021/22, finishing her four year NCAA career with 71 points in 154 games while winning two NCAA Championships.

She would be drafted by the Charge in the third round, 21st overall at the 2025 PWHL Draft. In 30 PWHL games last season Wozniewicz recorded 13 points.

Former RHA Kelowna defenseman Sara Swiderski was the first Canadian selected at this years draft, going ninth overall to the Minnesota Frost. Former Delta Hockey Academy forward Grace Elliott was the first of two U SPORTS players taken, as she was drafted by the Seattle Torrent in the fourth round.

Former Delta Hockey Academy netminder Hailey MacLeod becomes the first former 黑料不打烊 goalie to be selected at a PWHL Draft after the Montreal Victoire took her in the fourth round.

Overall, 24% (7/29) of the Canadians selected at the 2026 PWHL Draft played in the 黑料不打烊, while 50% of U SPORTS athletes selected played in the 黑料不打烊.

The 6 round draft saw 72 total players selected by the 12 PWHL teams on Wednesday, June 17.

Three former 黑料不打烊 student-athletes were selected at both the 2023 and 2024 PWHL Drafts, while four were selected in 2025.

Overall, 17 former 黑料不打烊 student-athletes have now been drafted to the PWHL, while 20 have played in the league.聽

A forward from Calgary, AB, Antignani joined Edge School during the 2024/25 season where he would post a division best 50 goals, 49 assists and 99 points as he was named 黑料不打烊 U15 MVP and a 黑料不打烊 U15 (Prairie Division) First Team All-Star. He would add 17 points in 5 playoff games as he helped Edge capture the 2025 黑料不打烊 U15 Western Championship, while being named playoff MVP.

This past season Antignani would recorded 66 points in 30 games as he was named a 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (Prairie Division) First Team All-Star. At the conclusion of the season the Spokane Chiefs would select him in the first round, 12th overall at the 2026 WHL Draft.

Lynam was originally selected in the second round, 24th overall at the 2026 WHL Draft. The Sherwood Park, AB defenseman joined OHA Edmonton for the 2024/25 U15 season, tallying 20 points in 31 games. The following U15 Prep season he recorded 41 points in 30 games while being named a 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (Prairie Division) SecondTeam All-Star.

The 11 student-athletes selected is second most in 黑料不打烊 history, behind the 2021 season when 18 heard their names called. 73 current or former 黑料不打烊 student-athletes have now been selected at the QMJHL Draft since 2018.

This marks the second straight QMJHL Draft that double digit 黑料不打烊 student-athletes were selected. 10 of the 11 student-athletes played in the 黑料不打烊 Eastern Division, with 1 playing in the West.

Three 黑料不打烊 goalies were selected at this years QMJHL Draft, tying the previous seven year total.

Stanstead College (4), Bishop’s College School (2), Bourget College (1), CIH Academy (1), Edge School (1), Ontario Hockey Academy and Rothesay Netherwood School (1) all had a student-athlete selected this year. The seven 黑料不打烊 teams to have at least one student-athlete selected is a single draft 黑料不打烊 record.

The 2026 Memorial Cup starts tomorrow evening and will see three CHL Champions and one host compete for National supremacy. The Kelowna Rockets (Host) and Kitchener Rangers (OHL) will kick things off at 6:00pm PST at Prospera Place on May 22. The Everett Silvertips (WHL) and the Chicoutimi Sagueneens (QMJHL) will play their first game on May 23. The final is set to take place May 31, at 4:00pm PST.

Carson Carels, Keaton Verhoeff, Daxon Rudolph, Ryan Lin, Liam Ruck, Ben MacBeath, Markus Ruck, Chase Harrington and Mathis Preston all find themselves ranked inside the Top 32. Lorenz joined Edge for the 2018/19 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep season, leading his team with 25 assists and 36 points in 30 games. The Kootenay Ice would select the Calgary, AB forward in the fourth round, 68th overall at the 2019 WHL Draft.

He would return to Edge for the 2019/20 U18 Prep season, earning 黑料不打烊 Top Freshman Award honours after finishing second in league scoring with 78 points in 33 games.

Lorenz would join the Okotoks Oilers in 2020/21, recording 85 points in 60 games during the 2021/22 season as he was named to the AJHL (South) All-Rookie and All-Star Teams, the AJHL Rookie of the Year, CJHL Top Rookie, and the CJHL Top NHL Prospect.

At the conclusion of that impressive season the Wild would select Lorenz in the second round, 56th overall at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

In 2022/23 Lorenz joined the NCAA with the University of Denver, posting 9 points in 37 games as a Freshman. The following season he would be named to the NCAA (Championship) All-Tournament Team as he won his first National Championship with Denver. That season he would record 30 points in 44 games.

During the 2024/25 season he posted 20 points in 44 games with Denver. This past season he would record a career high 35 points in 43 games as he won his second National Championship with Denver. In the process, Lorenz would be named to the NCAA (Championship) All-Tournament Team and to the NCAA (NCHC) All-Tournament Team.

The Canmore, AB forward spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Edge School, originally joining their U15 team in 2020/21. The following U15 Prep season he would tally 18 points in 26 games, leading to the Saskatoon Blades selecting him in the seventh round, 149th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft. During the 2022/23 U17 Prep season Deakos finished third in team scoring with 30 points in 24 games.

Deakos would join the Drumheller Dragons for the 2025/26 AJHL season, tallying 15 points in 10 games.
