Calvert joined Prairie Hockey Academy in 2017/18, tallying 53 points in 40 U15 Prep games. The following season Prairie would join the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ at the U16 Prep division. Calvert would lead his team in goals (24) while finishing second in points (41) in 35 games.

The Moose Jaw, SK forward would play five seasons in the WHL with his hometown Warriors, recording 220 points in 237 games while winning a WHL Championship during the 2023/24 season.

Calvert would split the 2024/25 season between the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL, and the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. He would join Wilkes-Barre/Scranton full time in 2025/26, posting 38 points in 70 games.

Buhr has signed an NHL Entry level deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs after spending the last four seasons in the NCAA. The North Vancouver, BC forward tallied 88 points in 116 NCAA games, including 36 in 35 this past season with Union College. Buhr has since joined the Toronto Marlies, playing two AHL games and recording one assist. He spent the 2017/18 U16 Prep season with the North Shore Warriors, finishing with 36 points in 35 games. In 2019/20 he would return to North Shore and the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, finishing second on his U18 Prep team and fifth in the league with 71 points in 34 games.

Slipec played two season for Delta Hockey Academy before joining North Shore for two more seasons in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. The White Rock, BC forward spent the last four seasons with the University of Nebraska-Omaha, tallying 24 points in 124 NCAA games. Slipec has since signed in the ECHL and played one game with the Adirondack Thunder.

Congratulations to our former U18 Prep Head Coach, Evan McFeeters, who has been named Roving Minor League Coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins

As part of his new role, McFeeters will be a member of the Penguins’ player development department, supporting Ryan Papaioannou’s coaching staff with the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) as well as Kirk McDonald’s staff with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL). He will also assist the player development staff with the on and off the ice development of all prospects and players within the Penguins’ organization.

We couldn’t be more proud to see Evan’s passion for development recognized at the highest level. His impact on our athletes has been incredible, and now he’ll bring that same energy to developing future Penguins.

Moravec joined Edge School for the 2016/17 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ U15 Prep season and tallied 13 points in 30 games. A fifth round pick at the 2018 WHL Draft by the Prince Albert Raiders, Moravec returned to Edge for the 2018/19 U18 Prep campaign and recorded 36 points in 32 games.

The Airdrie, AB forward spent the next two seasons in the AJHL with the Okotoks Oilers and Calgary Canucks before eventually joining Minnesota State University (Mankato) for two seasons in the NCAA. During his NCAA career Moravec posted 15 points in 64 games while helping his team win an NCAA (CCHA) Regular Season Championship and NCAA (CCHA) Championship.

Ethan Edwards, Charlie Elick, Trey Taylor and Matthew Wood have all signed NHL Entry Level Contracts, while Evan Friesen has signed in the ECHL.

Selected in the fourth round, 120th overall at the 2020 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils, Edwards has signed a two year contract with the team. The St. Albert, AB defenseman has spent the last four seasons in the NCAA with the University of Michigan, tallying 56 points in 130 games.

Edwards spent two seasons in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX), capturing a U16 Prep Championship in 2018. Overall, he would play 63 games split between the NAX U16 Prep and U18 Prep teams, recording 49 points.

Elick has signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets after they selected him in the second round, 36th overall at the 2024 NHL Draft. The Calgary, AB defenseman joined Edge School in 2020/21, playing with their U15 Prep team. In 2021/22 he would tally 25 points in 26 U18 Prep games while being named the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ U18 Prep Top Freshman Award winner.

The Brandon Wheat Kings would select Elick with the third overall pick at the 2021 WHL Draft where he would spend his first two-and-a-half WHL season before joining the Tri-City Americans midway through this year. In 196 career WHL games Elick has 10 goals and 45 assists.

Undrafted to the NHL, Taylor has signed a contract with the Dallas Stars. Taylor spent the 2017/18 season with the Delta Hockey Academy U16 Prep team, posting 12 goals and 16 assists in 35 games.

The Richmond, BC defender would join Clarkson University of the NCAA in 2022/23, playing three seasons with the team. In 110 NCAA games Taylor finished with 16 goals and 38 assists while being named the NCAA (ECAC) Best Defensive Defenseman and a Second Team All-Star in 2023/24.

Woods spent the 2019/20 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ U15 Prep season with the West Van Warriors (now the North Shore Warriors), finishing second in the league in goals (40) and fourth in points (71) in 30 games. At the conclusion of the season the Regina Pats selected Wood in the second round, 41st overall at the 2020 WHL Draft. However, Wood took the NCAA route.

TheLethbridge, AB forward spent two seasons with the University of Connecticut before transferring to the University of Minnesota this season. In 109 NCAA games Wood recorded 44 goals and 57 assists while being named to the NCAA (Hockey East) All-Rookie Team in 2022/23.

Selected in the first round, 15th overall at the 2023 NHL Draft by the Predators, Wood has represented Team Canada on three separate occasions: twice with the U18 Team, and once with the World Juniors Team.

A forward from Winnipeg, MB, Friesen has signed an ECHL Contract with the Utah Grizzlies. Friesen has played two games with the team already, having played one with them last season.

Undrafted to the WHL, Friesen has spent the last four seasons in the top junior hockey league in Western Canada. This season he would captain the Wenatchee Wild, finishing with 61 points in 66 games. In total, Friesen had 146 points in 240 WHL games.

Prior to his time in the WHL, Friesen spent two seasons in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ with RHA Winnipeg, playing for their U15 Prep and U16 Prep teams. In 66 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ games he would record 14 goals and 20 assists.

Hay joined Yale Hockey Academy for the 2018/19 U15 Prep season going 11-8-0 with a 2.89GAA and .891SV%. He would go 4-1-0 in playoffs to lead Yale to a 2019 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ U15 Prep Western Championship. At the conclusion of the season the Edmonton Oil Kings would select the Kamloops, BC netminder in the third round, 62nd overall at the 2019 WHL Draft.

Hay would return to Yale for the 2019/20 U15 Prep season playing 18 games and posting a 3.47GAA and .897SV%. The following season he would join the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) U18 Prep team going 3-0-0 with a 1.00GAA and .965SV%.

In 2021/22 Hay would join the Oil Kings fill time, spending three full seasons with the club. He would record a 44-59-4 record with a 4.06GAA, .881SV% and 2 shutouts in 124 games while winning a WHL Championship with the team in 2021/22.

Hay began the 2024/25 season with the Oil Kings, playing one game with the team.

The Abbotsford, BC product spent two seasons in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ with Yale’s U15 Prep team. During the 2016/17 season he would tally 9 points in 30 games. The following campaign Sward finished with 18 points in 26 games, leading to the Spokane Chiefs selecting him in the first round, 17th overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.

Sward joined the Chiefs in 2019/20, playing in 55 games and recording 17 points. The following year he would play in just 11 games but the Nashville Predators would select him in the fifth round, 146th overall at the 2022 NHL Draft.

He would begin the 2022/23 season with the Chiefs, playing eight games with the team before being moved to the Winnipeg Ice. Sward would finish the season with 33 points in 52 games with the Ice, adding 12 more points in 19 playoff games.

This past season Sward had 15 goals and 66 assists in 66 games with the Wenatchee Wild, earning him WHL (US) First All-Star Team honours.

The Moose have assigned Sward to the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals to begin the 2024/25 season.

Upper joined Edge for the 2014/15 U15 season, tallying 10 points in 13 games. The following U15 Prep campaign he would record 16 points in 25 games. The Calgary, AB defender would take a step offensively the next season, finishing with 34 points in 27 U16 Prep games. During the 2017/18 season he would tally 29 points in 33 U18 Prep games with Edge.

Undrafted to the WHL, Upper would join the Prince George Cougars in 2018/19. He would spend three seasons in the WHL with the Cougars, ending his WHL career with 18 goals and 33 assists in 151 games.

After his WHL career he would head to the University of Calgary and play three U SPORTS seasons with the Dinos. In 62 games Upper had 13 goals and 20 assists.

Gibson spent the 2017/18 U15 Prep season with Pacific Coast Hockey Academy. In 30 games the Victoria, BC defenseman had 24 points leading to the Everett Silvertips selecting him in the third round, 64th overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.

In 2019/20 Gibson would play 28 U18 Prep games with BWC Academy, finishing with 18 points. He would also make his WHL debut with the Everett Silvertips, playing in two games that season.

Gibson would go on to play 187 games over 4 seasons with the Silvertips before finishing his WHL game with the Regina Pats, playing 28 games for them this season. Overall, he recorded 10 goals and 61 assists in 215 WHL games.
