PCHA controlled the bulk of the game, grabbing goals from their big dogs, with Nixon Szadkowski, Jackson Squire, and Blake Bidney giving PCHA a foundation that North Shore wouldn’t reach the peak of. Keegan Hole made good on a pair of shorthanded chances to get North Shore back in the game, including one late in the third to give North Shore a chance to push back late. Hudson Elke’s (1G, 1A) empty-net goal sealed the deal for PCHA.Ìý

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (3) vs St. George’s School (1) U17 PrepÌýÌý

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna have been dominant in the U17 Prep division this season, with their 23 wins coming into Sunday, including one against St. George’s School, 5-2 back on January 9, and would continue that dominance into Sunday. OHA Edmonton turned the game into a track meet they controlled from the opening whistle, exploding for four goals in the first, seven in the second, and cruising to a 12–3 win over SAHA in a performance where their top six essentially ran a clinic. Artello Forestal (2G, 2A) opened the scoring just 37 seconds in on the power play, Micah Montgomery (1G, 1A) doubled the lead on another man‑advantage minutes later, and Nate Harrington (2G) added a shorthanded strike before Jaxson Weisgerber (2G, 2A) made it 4–0 by the 11‑minute mark. SAHA got one back through Macen Ibach (1G), but the second period belonged entirely to OHA Edmonton: Kane Strudwick (2G, 1A) scored 61 seconds into the frame, Ian Kim (2G, 2A) added his 12th, Forestal and Weisgerber each struck again, Erik Miller (1G, 2A) joined the party, and Harrington closed the period with his second at 19:57. SAHA found brief life in the third with a goal from Cooper Danroth (1G), but Kim’s second of the afternoon sealed the 12‑goal outburst. Rowen Germain (17/20) earned the win with a light workload, while Cole Anderson (15/26) and Patrick Curtis (15/16) combined for 30 saves on 42 shots in a game where SAHA spent most of the afternoon pinned in their own zone.

Delta Hockey Academy Black (3) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (4/OT) U15

Okanagan finally snapped their losing streak against Delta Black, but they had to survive a full‑tilt, grind‑it‑out battle to do it, edging out a 4–3 overtime win on a goal just 13 seconds into the extra frame. OHA struck first at 8:09 when Lance Bryant (1G, 1A) buried his 13th of the season, only for Weston Patrick (1G) to answer less than two minutes later. Levi Muir (1G) restored the OHA lead late in the first, but Delta kept hanging around, tying the game 5:38 into the second on a solo effort from Kevin Goodale (1G). OHA’s power play delivered the next swing as Cruz Rasmussen (1G) made it 3–2 at 17:08, yet Delta refused to go away as Zach Giles (1G) tied the game at with less than two minutes left in regulation, hitting the 30‑goal mark in dramatic fashion. Overtime, however, barely existed. Off the opening rush, Max Chen (1G, 1A) jumped into space and snapped home the winner at 0:13 to give OHA their first win over Delta Black this season. Linden Hartford (31/34) was sharp when he needed to be, while Holter Karpiak (12/16) took the OT loss in a game where Delta carried the shot clock but OHA cashed in on the moments that mattered.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (4) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep

Prairie Hockey Academy and RINK Winnipeg traded punches for 60 minutes in another high‑tempo rematch, but PHA once again found the final surge, taking a 5–4 win to complete the weekend sweep. Trey Bohlken (1G) opened the scoring with his 10th of the year before Maximilian Koppel (1G, 1A) answered, only for Xander Ramsay (1G) to restore the Prairie lead late in the first. The second period turned chaotic as the teams combined for three goals in under seven minutes, Athens Shingoose (1G) tied it, Easton Nafziger (1G, 2A) responded seven seconds later, and Atticus Cruz (1G) brought RINK Winnipeg level again, but Prairie’s power play delivered the key swing when Tristan Hoko (1G) buried his 14th at 18:21. Jaxon Nicol (1G, 1A) pushed the lead to 5–3 early in the third, and although Sam Grunewald (1G) cut the deficit, Remy Martins (36/40) shut the door through a 15‑shot RHA Winnipeg push to seal Prairie’s fourth straight win.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (3) vs STAR Hockey Academy (5) U15

The guests of the U15 showcase in Calgary faced an inter-state rival in STAR Hockey Academy, themselves coming in looking for a result to be proud of after an abysmal start to February. The Wild scored on an early powerplay, but in response, STAR ripped three into the back of the Wenatchee net before the intermission came about. Asher Kekke (2G, 1A) scored the third of the first on the man advantage and would pop up again in the second, scoring the goal that led them into the third period ahead by a goal. Jad Hale (2G, 1A) scored his second of the game in the third to stick the dagger into the Wild, as STAR Hockey Academy picked up their first U15 win since November 21.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (1) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) U17 Prep

An explosion of first-period offence for the Okanagan Hockey Academy’s U17 Prep squad essentially nullified any potential Wenatchee push back, and after OHA made it 4-0 on a late five-on-three, Okanagan shut down any offensive pushback Wenatchee could muster. OHA held the Wild to just five shots in the last forty minutes, and were able to put the rest of proceedings on cruise control. Beckham Taggart scored his second goal of the game on a powerplay in the second period, and a goal from Luke Edgehouse (1G, 1A) now brings him to 10 goals and 18 points in his last 12 games.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (5) vs Delta Hockey Academy (7) U18 Prep

Delta Hockey Academy’s U18 Prep squad had faced the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy just once prior to this weekend, back on November 30, but faced the Sea Devils twice this weekend, first winning 4-2 on Saturday prior to their last clash of the regular season on Sunday. PCHA’s defensive zone in the first period let them down early, with Caden Leibel (2G, 1A) taking advantage early to give Delta the first lead of the game, a mere 13 seconds into the game. Treyce Pavlic (2G, 1A) wasted hardly two minutes before scoring again. PCHA’s Grady Veary took a rarely seen match penalty later in the first, further compounding the misery of the first twenty minutes, as Delta scored twice on the five-minute powerplay following that to take a 4-0 lead into the second period. The second period flipped in PCHA’s favour by virtue of a pair of Roman Lavery (2G, 1A) powerplay goals, but Delta grabbed two in the span of ten seconds later in the middle frame, with Kishan Saggu (1G, 2A) popping in with the second to make it 6-2. PCHA wouldn’t in any way go away, though, and Elliott Hill scored on either side of the second intermission to make the game close again. As admirable as the comeback effort would be, Pavlic would score his second in the third to put the dagger into the Sea Devils, leading Delta to an eventual 7-5 win.

South Alberta Hockey Academy (7) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme Female (1) U18 Prep

South Alberta Hockey Academy’s Female U18 Prep squad hit the ground running in a full sprint against the Northern Alberta Xtreme, ahead by three goals with still over six minutes to play in the first period. Up 4-1 through one, SAHA held NAX to just eight shots in the last two periods of play, giving Phoenix Buckler (16/17) a relatively relaxed outing in between the SAHA pipes. Teagan Torgerson scored twice, including one in the third that extended SAHA’s lead to 7-1, where it would stay from that point onwards.

St. George’s School (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (2) U15 Prep

Ryker Stevens would give Yale the early advanatage, but that was nullified by Max Hoeft’s tying goal for SGS in the second period. In the 59 seconds following Hoeft tying the game, Yale would seemingly put themselves in a hole, taking a pair of minor penalties to present St. George’s School a five-on-three chance to take the lead. However, on the two-man advantage, SGS saw Marcus Phillips block a point shot and sprint after the loose puck, emerging on a breakaway and converting on his own rebound to give Yale the five-on-three shorthanded goal and the 2-1 lead in the second period. St. George’s School gave Logan Hwang (26/27) a tall task from there on, generating numerous scoring chances, all denied by Hwang en route to his team’s 2-1 win.

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (3) vs STAR Hockey Academy (8) U17 Prep

STAR Hockey Academy’s U17 Prep team had been on a heater heading towards this weekend and has only continued that run of form into Valentine’s Day weekend, looking to best fellow American rivals Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy on Sunday. Colton Brum (2G, 3A) scored off the top, giving STAR an early lead, pushing the snowball down the hill and starting the STAR offence. A modest first period was a mere preamble to STAR scoring four straight to begin the second period, running clear of any possible Coeur d’Alene pushback. In addition to Brum, who finished the game with five points to build off his early goal, Cam Hoggan (1G, 3A) pitched in with four points, and STAR grabbed another two goals from Adam Neilson.

BWC Academy (11) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (5) U15

The U15 showcase in Calgary at the Edge School facilities saw BWC open up with a disappointing shootout loss at the hands of Delta, but respond with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Edge School on Saturday. Sunday against the Prairie Hockey Academy presented BWC the chance to come home with a winning record, and it was a chance they were clearly eager to take. After a pair of quick ones to start off the first period, BWC went on a run of five consecutive goals in the second to establish a 7-1 lead, with Mars Zhang (3G, 2A) scoring a pair of what would end up being three goals and five points for himself. Prairie got a few in the net themselves as the game marched on, even scoring three of their own in the third, but didn’t have an answer for BWC’s overwhelming offence. Alex Iaichkin (2G, 3A) and Owen Chapman (5A) both joined Zhang in scoring five points, and a relentless BWC won 11-5.

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (14) vs Notre Dame Hounds (5) U15

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy have at times been ruthless in their offensive prowess this season, looking to continue that trend into their final game of the weekend showcase at Edge School in their Sunday clash with the Notre Dame Hounds. An impressive 6-5 overtime win over OHA Edmonton yesterday was their foundation to build upon, and unfortunately for the Hounds, CDA’s early and often form of attack left them in a hole they couldn’t climb out of. Following a modest first period that saw CDA lead 2-1, they’d light up the opposition in the second, scoring six times in the middle frame alone. TJ Podollan did the most damage in the game, with the Vernon, BC native posting a whopping eight points in the form of five goals and three assists. The performance brings Podollan to 91 points on the year, with his eight points helped by seven and a hat-trick of his own for Jagger Clark (3G, 7A), now bringing Clark’s goal total to 49 on the season. Notre Dame didn’t have enough to fight back against CDA, and the Idaho-based squad won 14-5.

OHA Edmonton (3) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (4) U17 Prep

The Northern Alberta Xtreme had bested OHA Edmonton in the U17 Prep division heading towards Sunday’s fourth and final head-to-head clash this season. Regina Pats prospect Dawson Sheehan made 35 saves on 36 shots in Friday’s head-to-head clash, his second win of the year against OHAE after prevailing on October 12. Sheehan stopped 34 of 37 today, setting the stage for the offensive talent of NAX to come to the forefront. Daniel Makovetskiy scored two, and Seth Kshyk’s second of the weekend early in the third period stood as the winner for NAX.

St. George’s School (5) vs Yale Hockey Academy (4) U18 Prep

Yale Hockey Academy’s U18 Prep squad bested St. George’s School last Sunday by a 6-4 scoreline on the back of four second-period goals for YHA, and early in the second period this Sunday, it looked like a similar result was in the works. Jonathan Bitonti (1G, 2A) scored just past the two-minute mark on the second to give Yale a 3-0 lead, but from there, St. George’s School came charging back. Vancouver Giants Louis Oscar Holowaychuk (3G) scored on back-to-back second-period power plays for SGS, and Jayan Sinha popped in with a goal to tie the game at three, but before the second was over, Yale regained their advantage, as Tanner Massey (1G, 2A) made it 4-3 with 19 seconds left in the period. However, early in the third, Holowaychuk popped up again to equalize, sending the game into the last ten minutes tied. Another YHA penalty provided the potent St. George’s School powerplay another chance with less than eight minutes to play, and Byron Chin (1G, 1A) managed to force home a rebound from the top of the crease to give St. George’s their first lead of the game. In the end, SGS managed to rally from 3-0 and 4-3 deficits to prevail 5-4.

St. George’s School (3) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (4/OT) U15

A pair of losses by substantial margins to start the showcase was far from the plan St. George’s would have had coming in, facing down the Northern Alberta Xtreme in the third and final game of the weekend. After a scoreless first period, it took barely over four minutes for St. George’s School to take a 2-0 lead. Asher Rogachevsky, who scored twice in the loss to Yale yesterday, scored both early in the middle frame to give St. George’s an advantage that would end up being only temporary. NAX pushed back hard, beating SGS goaltender David Itin (53/57) once in the second period to send the game into the end of the third period at a one-goal margin. Unfortunately for Itin, NAX’s pressure became too much to handle in the third, with quick goals from Myer Hipkins (1G, 1A) and Alex Reinhardt enough to at least push the game into overtime. It took barely 100 seconds of three-on-three action for NAX to complete the comeback. Yukon Kim has had an extremely productive 2026 thus far and would follow up his four-point performance on Saturday with the telling moment on Sunday, with Kim scoring in overtime to finish the game and help NAX complete the comeback win.

North Shore Warriors (6) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (2) Female U18 Prep

Okanagan Hockey Academy Black’s Female U18 Prep squad started the game on the front foot Sunday against the North Shore Warriors, with an early goal from Shriya Bhatt establishing OHAB an early lead. The deficit seemed to light a fire under the Warriors, though, and once they tied the game, it was theirs for the taking. Jenna Gibbs and Peyton Mages scored 1:19 apart in the first period to turn the game in North Shore’s favour, and after Taylor Siemens scored on a second-period powerplay, the Warriors ran away with the game in the third. Three more in the third from North Shore led them to a 6-2 win, an excellent bounceback after falling at the hands of Shawnigan Lake in their only previous game of February.

Yale Hockey Academy (3) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (1) U15

Yale Hockey Academy’s U15 squad won both of their first two games of the weekend against Delta White and St. George’s School prior to their final clash at Edge School against the Calgary International Hockey Academy. CIHA led through twenty minutes of play, but in the second half of the second period, Yale were able to flip the game on its head to take a 2-1 lead into the third. With barely ten minutes still to play, Emmett Rumbold stuck the dagger into CIHA, giving Yale a two-goal lead that would be protected to the end. Goaltender Mason Baptiste made 25 saves on 26 shots for Yale in the win.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) vs Edge School (10) U15

Early penalty trouble would spell the demise of PCHA in the final game of the U15 showcase in Calgary. The Sea Devils would surrender two powerplay goals early to Edge before scoring one of their own to close the period. Edge would bury another three including another PP goal to ignite the third, but Baen Kernan and Koen Nicholas (2G) would once again give PCHA some life, cutting the deficit to 5-3 before the second intermission. However, once again the penalty trouble would dismantle any chance at the comeback as Deacon Harris (2G, 1A)) and Josh Pomeroy (2G) connected with back-to-back powerplay goals off a double-minor. Edge would rally the score to 10-3 to close out the home win. Harris, Pomeroy and Gio Niven (2G, 1A) would each pick up a pair of goals while Cohen Snukal-Lyon (1G, 4A) lit up the scorsheet with five points. Parker Lascelle (3A) and Colton Roussel (3A) would each garner three assists. Carter Gideon (25/28) was in goal to register the win.

The home side opened the scoring late in the first as Gavyn Thomas hit double digit goals on the season with 2:10 left in the first period. Aadi Patel (1G, 1A) responded for Selwyn House 2:16 into the second as he tied the game with his fourth of the year. Shoheres Jacobs restored the Kuper lead midway through the second as he beat Evan Un Yi (30/33) for his first goal of the season. Kuper controlled the play in the third but a power play opportunity late in the game saw Jackson Pitfield even the score for Selwyn with 4:17 remaining. Another four minute penalty by Kuper sent Selwyn back on the power play late with a chance to win it but Angelo Jr Colletti scored shorthanded with 2:40 left to give Kuper the 3-2 win. James Barker (22/24) made 22 saves in net for the win.

Prairie Hockey Academy (7) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U18 Prep

Prairie outshot Notre Dame 18-4 in the first but it was Notre Dame who opened the scoring as Lewis Brown (1G, 1A) beat Remy Martins (24/26) for his sixth goal of the season 9:30 in. Prairie would respond quickly as Sam Degenstein tied the game 55 seconds later and Trey Bohlken’s eighth of the year on the power play gave the away side the lead going into the second. Each team would strike on the power play in the second as Tristan Hoko (1G, 2A) did so for Prairie, while Henrik Holt (1G, 1A) countered for Notre Dame. Separated by just one goal, the Prairie power play took over in the third as Zane Rains (1G, 2A), Brady Keith (1G, 1A), Easton Nafziger (1G, 1A) and Liam Kilfoil all scored on the man advantage to give Prairie a 7-2 win.Ìý

CIH Academy (1) vs Stanstead College (8) East U17 Prep

Stanstead outshot CIH Academy 51-12 en route to an 8-1 win Wednesday. Stanstead would score the first eight goals of the game before Greyson Peel ended the Jaxon Ford (11/12) shutout bid with 2:25 left to play. Shane-Alexandre Dube (3G, 1A) recorded a hat-trick and tied defenseman Eliot Faucher (4A) for the team lead with four points. Vincent Chevrier (2G, 1A) and Kristian Tlstovic (1G, 2A) each chipped in with three points in the win.

ÌýCIH Academy (3) vs Stanstead College (10) East U18 Prep

After going 0-4-0 at the East West Challenge last weekend, second place Stanstead (13-6-0) would get back on track with a 10-3 win over CIH Academy (9-7-1) Wednesday. Stanstead scored three power play and two shorthanded goals as their special teams were the difference, shutting down the CIH Academy power play. Elijah Arrigo (2G), Alexis Lavoie (3G) and Juuso Mustonen (2G, 2A) all scored twice while Maxime Bonin (3A) added three assists for Stanstead. Andrei Chumakov (2G) and Leonardo Stretti scored for CIH Academy in the loss.

Prairie Hockey Academy (6) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U17 Prep

Lukas Lundgren opened the scoring for Notre Dame 1:14 into the first and that lead would hold until midway through the second when Bryden Wagner (2G) evened the scoring. Kane Folkersen quickly restored the Notre Dame lead just 25 seconds later with his fourth goal of the season. Luke Pratte’s (2G, 1A) ninth of the year 4:04 later brought the game back to level heading into the third period. After outshooting Notre Dame 19-9 in the second, Prairie continued the onslaught in the third, this time getting results on the scoreboard as Wagner gave his team the lead 3:09 into the frame. Ramsey Thompson (2G) would then score back-to-back goals before Pratte hit double digit goals on the season as Prairie pulled away to take home a 6-2 win Wednesday night. Kaidyn Thomas (29/31) made 29 saves in net for the win.

Prairie Hockey Academy (5) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (1) U15

Brody Ayotte (35/36) and Luke Kochhar (22/27) kept clean sheets in the opening 20 before Sidney Mock hit double digit goals with a power play marker 2:06 into the second to give RHA Kelowna a 1-0 lead. RHA Kelowna would outshoot Prairie 28-17 the rest of the way, but it was Prairie who scored five straight to grab the win. Lucas Duchscherer tied the game 17 seconds after Mock gave RHA Kelowna the lead and Maguire Lepp (3G) scored the eventual game winner midway through the second. Cruz Kujundzic-Pruden (1G, 1A) gave Prairie some breathing room late in the second and Lepp completed the hat-trick with two late third period goals.

Notre Dame Hounds (2) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (8) U15

Lance Bryant (1G, 1A) scored just 1:06 in and Cruz Rasmussen (2G, 1A) added his ninth of the year 7:24 later as OHA opened up to a 2-0 lead. Lochlan Kisslinger (2G) cut that lead in half with a power play goal 4:08 later but Max Chen (2G, 1A) replied for OHA with a power play goal of his own. OHA then added two more even strength goals to close out the period as Kane Fitzgerald and Teppei Noguchi (1G, 1A) each found the back of the net 57 seconds apart. The OHA offence continued in the second as Chen and Rasmussen each scored their second of the game to increase their lead to 7-1. Reece Verrier (1G, 2A) and Kisslinger traded power play goals in the third to round out the scoring in an 8-2 OHA win. Jonah Gamble (25/27) and Sammy Brushett (38/46) were in net for their respective teams.

Fort Erie International Academy (5) vs King Heights Academy (2) East U18 Prep

Christophe Gagne (3G) scored the lone first and second period goals as Fort Erie led 2-0 heading into the second period. Travis McDougall extended the advantage 4:13 into the third period as Fort Erie looked to run away with it. King Heights halted the run a few minutes later as Danil Kolzin and Lukah Ceh brought their team within one with 5:19 remaining. However, Ashton Venzon (20/22) shut the door the rest of the way, Gagne completed the hat-trick, and Riley Cave (1G, 2A) added an empty netter as Fort Erie earned the 5-2 win. Nils Huber (58/62) faced 62 shots in the loss.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (9) vs BWC Academy (6) U15

A high scoring affair began just 40 seconds in as Alex Iaichkin (3G) found the back of the net for the 33^rd time this season. Iaichkin doubled the BWC Academy lead with a power play goal 6:09 later as his team grabbed an early 2-0 advantage. RHA Winnipeg countered with three straight as Liam Hailstone, Tobias Rodrigue, and Cooper Greenham found the back of the net to make it a 3-2 game heading into the second. Nash Smook (2G, 1A) doubled the RHA Winnipeg lead 1:13 into the middle frame but Jackson Sponchia (1G, 2A) countered just 30 seconds later. Smook found the back of the net for a second time less than three minutes after that, though BWC Academy was quick to reply, this time with a Mitchell Wilson goal. A Ryan Koenig (2G, 2A) shorthanded goal and Jackson Lussier (1G, 1A) even strength goal 1:43 later put RHA Winnipeg ahead 7-4 heading into the final frame. That lead continued to grow as Brock Labelle (1G, 1A) and Koenig scored 33 seconds apart midway through the third. BWC Academy refused to go away quietly as Adriano Ciccone (1G, 1A) and Iaichkin each added late goals, but it was too little, too late as RHA Winnipeg held on for the 9-6 win.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (9) Female U18 Prep

Sophie Drummond scored her first of the season 4:26 in to give Pilot Mound a 1-0 lead but Jordan Downey (1G, 2A) tied it 46 seconds later before Rowyn Street (3G, 2A), Attica Sobering and Mullen MacIntyre all found the back of the net in the first for RHA Winnipeg. Sydney Stibbard (1G, 4A) extended the lead 44 seconds into the second before Lauren Nychyporuk finally halted the run midway through the second with a power play marker. Street and Raina Chala (1G, 1A) added goals 21 seconds apart for RHA Winnipeg to close out the second as they home side held a 7-2 advantage. The third would begin with three goals in quick succession as Rory Perrin (1G, 1A) opened the frame with a Pilot Mound power play goal. Georgia O’Neill (1G, 1A) replied for RHA Winnipeg less than two minutes later though Ryley Sanders (1G, 1A) countered for Pilot Mound 55 seconds after that. Street added her third of the game late in the third third to complete the hat-trick and round out the scoring. Maddison Hagen (14/18) and Allie Attema (50/59) were in net for their respective teams.

Edge School (4/SO) vs Yale Hockey Academy (3) U15

Edge controlled the play in the first and came out ahead 1-0 as Cohen Snukal-Lyon (1G, 1A) scored his 15^th goal of the campaign. Both teams fell into penalty trouble in the second and their power plays took advantage as Emmett Rumbold (2G) tied the game 5:48 into the second. The Edge power play then responded with goals from Colton Roussel and Josh Pomeroy to take a 3-1 lead into the third. Yale would battle back and tie things in the back half of the third as Rumbold brought them within one and Sebastien Sibley tied the game with 6:24 left to force extra time. After overtime solved nothing, David Tisdale (18/21) stopped all three Yale shooters and Jake Sander scored the shootout winner on Landon Rivas (16/19) as Edge grabbed a 4-3 win in their first game of the showcase.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) vs Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (9) U15

Jagger Clark (3G, 1A) scored 2:06 in and Brody Finley (1G, 1A) added his eighth of the year 1:31 later as CDA grabbed an early 2-0 lead. Greyson Ekramoddoullah (1G, 1A) got Pacific Coast on the board 2:07 later as he beat Harrison Dalton (22/25) for his fourth of the season. Clark would respond with two goals of his own, completing the hat-trick before the first period even ended. The offence continued for CDA in the second period as Aden Bancarz (1G, 1A) and TJ Podollan (2G, 2A) each found the back of the net in the opening 5:18. PCHA would string together back-to-back goals midway through the second as Gus Steeves (1G, 1A) and Rhett Resicini scored 26 seconds apart to make it a 6-3 game with 30 minutes remaining. Calgary International Hockey Academy (5) vs Edge School (3) U15 Prep

After posting the number one play of the week last week, Brody Antignani (1G, 1A) opened the scoring for Edge 8:15 in. Defenseman Cohen St. Louis (1G, 1A) tied the game 1:03 later and Cole Chudyk put CIHA ahead just over two minutes later. The CIHA offence continued to fire on all cylinders in the second as Kale Okuno, Ryder Lefaivre, and George Matheos found the back of the net to give CIHA a 5-1 lead. Cruz Schwabe would get one back for Edge as they got within striking distance heading into the third. James Butterwick (1G, 1A) made it a two-goal game with 11:55 remaining as he beat Alexandre Montembeault (29/32) on the power play for his eighth of the season. But that was as close as Edge would get as CIHA held on for the 5-3 win Thursday.

St. George’s School (4) vs STAR Hockey Academy (1) U15 Prep

Each team scored on the power play in the first with Cole Carter scoring for STAR and Max Hoeft (2G) countering 1:29 later for St. George’s. St. George’s would outshoot STAR 18-2 in the second and get goals from Luca Rogers (1G, 1A) and Enzo Drath to take a 3-1 lead into the third. St. George’s continued to dominate on the shot clock in the third and a Hoeft goal in the final minute secured the 4-1 victory. Hudson Waddell (16/17) and William Duffy (45/49) were in net for their respective teams.

STAR Hockey Academy (1) vs North Shore Warriors (5) U15

North Shore grabbed a 3-0 first period advantage as Ethan Naude, Sawyer Shepard (2G, 1A) and Cody Simmons all found the back of the net in the opening 20. Ayaan Rao (25/26) and Henry Vieth (32/37) kept clean sheets in the second as it remained a 3-0 North Shore lead heading into the third. Jad Hale finally broke through for STAR 4:52 into the third as he scored a power play marker, his fifth goal of the season. But Shepard responded with a shorthanded tally six minutes later and Emerson Ronco scored his first goal of the season in the final minute as North Shore claimed a 5-1 win. Defenseman Max Darlow (3A) tied for the team lead with three assists.

Calgary International Hockey Academy (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black (3) U15

Dean Jones 13^th of the season and Bentley Gillis 34^th gave Delta Black a 2-0 lead after 20. Having been outshot 15-5 in the first, CIHA responded by outshooting Delta Black 9-6 in the second but neither team broke through in the middle frame. Lukas Kravcak broke the dry spell 4:08 into the third as Delta Black had a commanding 3-0 lead late in the game. Reid Grierson would get CIHA on the board with a power play marker on Ray Baran (25/26) with 3:19 left to play but Delta Black would hold off any CIHA comeback attempt.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (5) vs St. George’s School (11) U15

Minsoo Lee (4G, 1A) and Elmer Wang (3G) led a victory by a large margin for the Saints as they open up their showcase against the Wenatchee Wild. Alan Qiu (1G, 3A), Asher Rogachevsky (1G, 3A) and Asher Jin (2G, 2A) would also pick up four points apiece in the win. In Wenatchee’s end, Kaden Wright (2G, 1A) and Connor Stump (3A) would lead the offence with three points each.

OHA Edmonton (4) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (2) U15Ìý

Damon Chinski (2G) opened the scoring under a minute into play to give OHA Edmonton the early lead. However, Noah Yoo would tie things up on the powerplay for Delta White. OHA Edmonton would string together in second, scoring three unanswered including a shorthanded marker from Kirk Girard. Seven Xie (1G, 1A) would get one back in the third for Delta White, but they could not make up the two goal deficit. Brynley Nault (23/25) would make 23-saves in the win.

In the first semi-final of the day BWC Academy would outshoot Edge 15-8 in the first and take a 1-0 lead as Logan Henry scored his second in as many days. Edge responded in the second as Luke Jamieson (1G, 1A) tied the game 1:06 in and Antonio Cazac (3G) fired one top shelf to give Edge the lead 4:21 later. The seesaw battle continued in the second as Dominic Seminoff (2G) tied it 2:30 later before scoring a power play goal a few minutes after that to put BWC Academy back ahead. Another BWC Academy power play goal, this time by Luca Martyniuk (1G, 1A), saw them double their lead heading into the third. The BWC Academy power play remained hot in the third as Logan Lepinski scored his third of the tournament 1:57 in. Justin Moon (1G, 1A) then added his third as BWC Academy took a commanding 6-2 lead with 12 minutes left to play. Edge wouldn’t go away quietly as Cazac scored twice in 1:44, including a power play marker, to bring his team within two with 2:10 remaining. But Kadyn O’Brien (1G, 2A) secured the BWC Academy win as he fired home an empty netter with 1:55 left to play, sending his team to the inaugural East West Challenge Final.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) EWC Semi-Final

In semi-final number two SAHA grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first as Karter Kurpjuweit and Damen Vanderberg (1G, 1A) each found the back of the net on Linden Sobocan (23/27). Linden Andersen added a power play goal 3:40 into second as the SAHA lead grew to 3-0. In need of some offence, Landon Nagle got OHA on the board 4:02 into the third period and Trey Tourigny brought the visitors within one with 6:01 left to play, setting up for a frantic finish. Hunter Saddleback (1G, 1A) gave SAHA some breathing room 1:08 later but Luke Assi (1G, 1A) scored just 33 seconds after that to make it a one goal game again. OHA would pull their netminder and push for an equalizer but Devin Pelletier’s empty netter with 31 seconds left sent SAHA through to the finals to take on BWC Academy. Hunter Zawislak (22/25) made 22 saves to earn the win.

OHA Edmonton (4/OT) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (3) U15

OHA Edmonton U15 clawed out a gritty 4–3 OT win over Northern Alberta Xtreme in a game that swung wildly after a scoreless first, with Marek Fetter (2G) sparking the comeback and Kingston Ireland (1G, 1A) burying the OT winner on the power play. Tom Boudet (1G, 2A) gave OHO their second lead of the game 3:00 into the third and Easton Choffe (1G, 1A) added another power play goal to give his team a 4-2 lead. Thomas Harvey (1G, 1A) cut the lead in half with two minutes remaining and Fort Erie pushed for a tying goal, but Pierre-Elie Biley (20/23) shut the door the rest of the way.

Ontario Hockey Academy (4) vs Rothesay Netherwood School (6) EWC Consolation

Just 5:16 into the game Maxim Ius (2G) had two goals, including a power play tally, for Ontario Hockey Academy. Drew Moores (2G) responded just 1:38 later before scoring 2:40 into the second to tie the game. Defenseman Nathan Romanin put Rothesay Netherwood School ahead late in the second for the first time, scoring his first goal of the event. Mathis-Cael Aurelius (1G, 1A) evened the score 1:32 into the third and Alexis Bergeron’s third of the tournament put OHA ahead 1:17 later in a back-and-forth contest. That back-and-forth continued as Kilian Alves Pereira levelled the score midway through the frame and Will McMullen put RNS ahead for good with 7:14 left to play. Brody Dawson doubled the lead, giving his team breathing room with 1:08 to play and Marty Hackenberg (32/36) finished with 32 saves to secure the RNS win.

Notre Dame Hounds (0) vs Edge School (6) U15

Edge School smothered Notre Dame from the opening puck drop, rolling to a 6–0 win behind a relentless forecheck, a 54–12 shot advantage, and a hat trick from Nash Klimpke (3G, 1A). Parson Shahi (2G, 2A) and Cayson Lambert countered with goals 53 seconds apart late in the period to give PCHA a 4-1 lead heading into the third. Brody Molloy (2G, 1A) scored Stanstead’s second 32 seconds into the third and again on the power play midway through the frame as Stanstead crawled within one. But Hill responded for PCHA 49 seconds later with his second of the game and Shahi scored late on the power play to as PCHA doubled up Stanstead with a 6-3 win.

South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) vs Edge School (1) U15 Prep

South Alberta Hockey Academy controlled the pace wire‑to‑wire in a 5–1 win over Edge School, building their lead through layered scoring and a standout night from the Jarvis–Ibach–Vansandt trio. Macen Ibach (2G, 1A) struck early and added another in the second, while Nash Davis (1G) and Mark Ma (1G) helped SAHA break the game open with goals just 96 seconds apart. Edge’s lone spark came shorthanded from Matteo Dufour (1G), but SAHA quickly restored momentum before the period ended. In the third, Carter Jarvis (1G, 3A) capped off his four‑point performance, and Cole Anderson quietly sealed the result with 30 saves on 31 shots. SAHA’s structure, puck support, and ability to finish in waves carried them to a convincing road victory.

Ulysse Academie (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy (3) EWC Consolation

Most of the action in this one took place in the first half of the first as Treyce Pavlic opened the scoring 4:31 in for Delta. Zachary Landry countered for Ulysse 25 seconds later with his second of the tournament as he beat Oliver Bryks (30/31). Peter Banicevic restored the Delta lead less than four minutes later, scoring his third goal in four games. That score would hold until late in the second when Delta captain Bryson Roberts tallied his second goal of the tournament, giving Delta a two-goal cushion. That cushion would hold as Bryks and Samuel Bourgoin (19/22) kept clean sheets in the third as the game ended 3-1 in favour of Delta.

Yale Hockey Academy (6) vs St. George’s School (4) U18 Prep

Yale Hockey Academy U18 Prep erupted for six goals in a fast‑paced win over St. George’s, powered by a statement performance from Tanner Massey (3G), who struck three time for the hat trick, including two in a four‑goal second period by his team that blew the game open. Jonathan Bitonti (2G) added a pair of goals, and Seth Castronuovo (1G) chipped in another as Yale repeatedly answered every push from SGS, who stayed in the fight behind two goals from Holden Wouters (2G, 1A) and late markers from Byron Chin (1G) and Max Bergeron (1G). Despite St. George’s rally attempts, Yale’s offensive surges and timely special‑teams execution proved too much, sealing a high‑event 6–4 victory.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) vs North Shore Warriors (3) U15 Prep

Two of RHA Kelowna’s first three goals would come surprisingly while a man down! Trent Keenan and Ben Tyssen would strike for the shorthanded markers. Will Thompson (2G, 1A) would make up some ground for the Warriors late in the second, perhaps lighting a spark as Maddin Neale (1G, 1A) scored 30-seconds into the third. However, a Nixon McLean (1G, 1A) goal would go on to stand as the game winner despite another late goal from Thompson.

BWC Academy (3/SO) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (2) U17 Prep

After Jack Drinkwater scored the lone goal in the first for PCHA, Owen Hyde would have a chance to make things 2-0 on a penalty shot. He would not connect on the open chance but would make up for his miss by scoring on a powerplay soon after. In the third, BWC Academy would apply the pressure. Nate Ellemo (1G, 1A) would bring the Lions back to within one while a late goal by Kayden Pratt would extend this game into an eventual shootout. In the fifth round, it was defenseman Brayden McCrorie that ended the shootout with Liam Kellett (43/45) shutting the door with 43-saves plus an extra three in the shootout.

Prairie Hockey Academy (0) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (7) U17 Prep

Taylor Green (28/28) kept the door shut in a tidy 7-0 victory for Calgary IHA. On the offensive side, Calgary IHA benefited from seven separate goal scorers. Chale Morgan’s (1G, 1A) lone first period goal would go on to stand as the winner.

Bourget College (7) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) EWC Consolation

After a crushing loss to secure a spot in the semi-finals yesterday, the Buffaloes looked to end their weekend on a high note. Unfortunately, Bourget College had other plans, scoring three unanswered goals to open the first, two of which from Malik Roy (2G, 1A). Knox Burton (1G, 1A) would inject some life back into Pilot Mound with an early tap in in the second, but Bourget would respond with another three in a row, capped off with a beautiful goal by Keifer Pion-Robin. Carsten Campbell and Noah Hudson (1G, 2A) would get two back before the end of the frame for Pilot Mound while Nolan Harding got things to within two early in the third. However, Maddx Thinel (1G, 1A) would put the icing on the cake with a snappy cut to the slot, carving out the consolation win for Bourget College.

BWC Academy (1) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (2/OT) EWC Final

With a 2-1 overtime win over BWC Academy (Burnaby, BC) on Sunday night, South Alberta Hockey Academy (Dunmore, AB) won the inaugural East West Challenge.

The event saw seven teams from the East take on seven teams from the West in a U18 Prep matchup just outside Montreal in Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan, QC.

SAHA punched their ticket to the finals with a 5-3 win over Okanagan Hockey Academy (Penticton, BC) in the semi-finals after going 3-0 against East teams in the round robin.

BWC Academy had a similar path to the finals, going 3-0 in the round robin before beating Edge School (Calgary, AB) 7-4 in their semi-final matchup.

It was both teams’ second game of the day and fifth in four days and the first period reflected that as SAHA and BWC Academy combine for just 11 shots.

The action would pick up in the second, mostly in the SAHA d-zone, which resulted in Charlie Robinson collecting in his feet, making a quick move to kick it to his stick, and firing it past a sliding Cash Christie (22/23).

That lead would hold until early in the third when Ryker Klassen beat James Fitzpatrick (22/24) with a deceptive shot that went five-hole.

Neither team was able to generate anything further in the remaining minutes of regulation, sending the game to overtime. In OT, Kingston Chisholm would go end-to-end and wire home the game winner, sending the home team into a frenzy as they captured the first ever ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ East West Challenge Championship.

North Shore Warriors (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (3) U15

ÌýAyaan Rao (49/52) stood on his head for a 49-save effort, but the North Shore offense struggled to connect against Delta White. Talen Lindsay would score the Warriors lone goal, but it came after Delta White’s three unanswered to start the game. Donivan Cominetti’s goal would stand as the game winner while Kayden Krestanovich added the insurance marker halfway through the second.

Peter Banicevic (2G, 1A) opened the scoring 6:59 in for Delta in a must win game against OHO. Byrnell Roberts tied the game on the power play 10 minutes later as the two teams were level after 20. Delta would gain some separation in the second period as Kishan Saggu (2G, 1A) scored twice and Conor Nicolson found the back of the net once, beating Lohan Goolab (39/45). Delta continued to push in the third as Banicevic and Leibel each scored on the power play to give them a 6-1 lead. Despite being up by five, Delta pulled the goalie to go 6-on-5 in the dying moments as they looked for another goal to increase their odds in any potential tiebreaker scenarios that will be decided later in the evening. Matthew Wong (19/20) made 19 saves for his second win of the event.

Bourget College (3) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (4) EWC

A mad scramble in front saw Malik Roy open the scoring 7:08 in, giving his team an early 1-0 lead. Carson Ward (1G, 1A) brought the two teams even with a power play marker with 5:05 remaining in the period and Ty Wasyluk found the back of the net on Zachary Botelho (31/34) with just 4 seconds left to give SAHA a 2-1 lead heading into the second. SAHA would build on their lead 5:23 into the middle frame as Seattle Thunderbirds prospect Dylan Sherban fired one past the Bourget netminder. Maddx Thinel (1G, 1A) would get one back for Bourget to bring them within one heading into the third and final period. Bourget would tie the game 5:21 into the third with a Xavier Martin (1G, 1A) power play marker, setting up for a wild finish. Notre Dame Hounds (2) vs Edge School (6) U15

Edge School U15 kept their season dominance over Notre Dame intact with a decisive 6–2 win with a staggering 58–22 shot advantage. The opening frame set the tone early: Cohen Snukal‑Lyon (2G) struck first, and although Abel Goodwin (1G) briefly answered for the Hounds with his first of the season, Edge countered with a rapid two‑goal surge from Satoshi Takeda (2G) to take full control. Notre Dame showed pushback, again, in the second, capitalizing late when Tripp Simms (1G), but Edge’s depth and pace overwhelmed them again in the third. Snukal‑Lyon added his second of the night, Gio Niven (1G) extended the lead, and Nash Klimpke (1G, 1A) sealed it on a late power play. Despite the loss, Hounds goaltender Sammy Brushett (52/58) delivered a heroic performance under constant pressure, while Edge’s David Tisdale (20/22) stayed steady at the other end.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (5) vs Shawnigan Lake School (2) U15 Prep

Okanagan Hockey Academy U15 Prep delivered one of their most complete efforts of the season, controlling possession wire‑to‑wire and powering their way to a 5–2 win over Shawnigan Lake School U15 Prep. OHA struck early and often, outshooting SLS 47–22 and generating offense from all four lines. Cooper de Wal (1G) opened the scoring at 6:52, and although Shawnigan answered on a power play, OHA regained momentum late in the first with Rhys Parker’s (1G) go‑ahead marker. From there, OHA dictated the pace, Owen Magness (1G, 2A) buried a solo effort in the second, and Jake Gates (2G) took over in the third with a pair of goals, including a power‑play strike that put the game out of reach. Shawnigan added a late shorthanded tally, but it wasn’t enough to slow an OHA squad that controlled the game and never let it slip from their grasp. Goaltender Nathen Bazley was steady throughout, stopping 20 of 22 to secure the win.

Ontario Hockey Academy (3) vs Edge School (11) EWC

Edge School (3-0-0) secured their spot in the semi-finals with an 11-3 win over Ontario Hockey Academy (0-3-0). Charlie Tobin opened the scoring 7:15 but Nathaniel Noah (1G, 1A) tied it for OHA 33 seconds later. Luke Jamieson gave Edge another lead 1:06 later and they never looked back as they scored 9 in the final 40. Luke Huska (2G, 4A) was named Student-Athlete of the Game after leading all skaters with six points. Affiliate Luke McGuire (2G, 1A) and defenseman Remy Koch (2G, 1A) each added two goals in the win.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (2) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep

Northern Alberta struck just 17 seconds into the game, but their early spark wasn’t enough to withstand Pilot Mound’s late push in a tight 3–2 finish. Kayton Reinders (1G, 1A) opened the scoring, only for PMHA to answer at 14:10 when Alexander Ruiz (1G) buried the equalizer. NAX regained control in the second, leaning on their power play as Daniel Makovetskiy (1G) ripped home a go‑ahead marker at 4:18. Despite outshooting Pilot Mound 50–31 and generating long stretches of zone time, Northern Alberta Xtreme couldn’t find the insurance they needed. PMHA flipped the script in the third: Maddox Ramage (1G, 1A) tied it at 3:58, and with just 24 seconds left, Christian Caby (1G) delivered the dagger off a setup from Ramage. NAX finished 1/4 on the power play and got a strong performance from Lenox Alanen (28/31), but Pilot Mound’s timely scoring and 48‑save showing from Gavin Hildebrand (48/50) sealed the comeback.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Shawnigan Lake School (2) Female U18 Prep

In a tight, momentum‑swinging matchup at Charlie Purdey Arena, OHA leaned on timely special‑teams’ execution and a standout performance from Maive Gosselin Berg (26/28) to edge Shawnigan Lake 3–2. After conceding early on the power play, OHA punched back instantly with a shorthanded strike from Shea Warnick (2G) off a setup from Makenna Brassard (2A) and Audrina Freeman. The second period swung wide open: Freeman (1G, 2A) buried just 42 seconds in, only for SLS to answer before Warnick added her second of the afternoon, finishing a crisp passing sequence from Freeman and Brassard to restore the lead late in the frame. OHA locked things down in the third, surviving a parade of penalties and leaning on disciplined defensive layers to close out the win.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (0) vs Edge School (8) Female U18 Prep

Edge School overwhelmed Pilot Mound from the opening puck drop, rolling to an 8–0 win behind a wave of multi‑point performances and a 59–shot barrage. Alice Rapp (1G, 1A) opened the scoring before Edan Crowe (2G) and Jana Mitenko (2G, 2A) took over, each striking twice as Edge built an imposing first‑period lead and never looked back. Cassia Severin (1G), Avaya McCann (1G, 1A), and Mika Higgins (1G) added to the onslaught, while Hudson Stephenson (2A), Aoife Scase (2A), and Samantha Baker (1A) drove the playmaking. Jenna Ring turned aside all 18 shots for the shutout, and Edge controlled every facet of the game, outshooting PMHA 59–18 and cruising to a decisive victory.

BWC Academy (3) vs Ulysse Academie (2) EWC

Josh Wu (31/33) and Samuel Bourgoin (31/33) kept clean sheets in the first as the two teams headed to the intermission tied 0-0. Alex Graveline broke the deadlock 1:44 into the second as he scored his first goal of the tournament for the host side. Dominic Seminoff tied the game midway through the second, tipping home a Logan Lepinski (1G, 1A) point shot on the power play. BWC Academy grabbed their first lead of the game 1:55 into the second as Logan Henry beat Bourgoin on the breakaway. Ulysse would push for an equalizer and find it as Zachary Landry buried a loose puck to tie the game with 3:24 left. Needing to win in regulation to give themselves a chance to advance, Ulysse pulled the goalie in the final minutes, leading to BWC Academy’s Lepinski to fire the puck into the empty net, sending his team to the semi-finals and knocking out the hosts.

OHA Edmonton (6) vs Notre Dame Hounds (3) U17

OHA Edmonton snapped out of their recent scoring slump with a sharp, assertive 6–3 win over Notre Dame, powered by a dominant second period that finally broke open what had been a tight, back‑and‑forth game early. Tucker Porter (2G) set the tone with a pair in the first, while Nate McRorie (1G, 1A), Liam MacMillan (1G, 1A), Hunter Jacobs (1G), and Jackson Konelsky (1G, 1A) piled on during a four‑goal surge in the middle frame that flipped a 2–2 contest into full OHA control. Finn Sample (2A) and Ben Phillips (2A) quietly drove the offense with steady puck movement, and Maxime Poitras (19/22) held firm as OHA weathered a penalty‑filled third. For a Notre Dame team entering on a five‑game skid, goals from Dominik Chartrand (1G), Paul Abrametz (1G), and Peter Forbes (1G) weren’t enough to keep pace with OHA’s especially as special teams tilted heavily toward Edmonton.

OHA Edmonton (5) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) U17 Prep

OHA Edmonton U17 Prep open their Manitoba trip with a composed 5–3 win over RINK Winnipeg. Christopher Peterson (1G) opened the scoring before Jaxon Moss (2G) took over with goals in the first and third, while Hudson Blair (1G) and Kaysun Brunham (1G) added key strikes during a second‑period surge that flipped the game for good. Clark Schneider (3A) contributes with three helpers as OHA’s depth again showed up in a tight matchup. Adrien Brochu (28/31) held firm through a heavy RHA Winnipeg push, especially during a chaotic stretch of penalties in the second, while the penalty kill went a perfect 5‑for‑5 to neutralize RINK Winnipeg’s biggest weapons. It was a mature, structured road win against a top‑end opponent riding a six‑game heater, exactly the type of performance OHA needed to keep building momentum.

St. George’s School (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (2) U17 Prep

St. George’s and Yale played a tight, territorial chess match, but the difference came down to finishing and a goaltending duel that leaned Yale’s way. They struck first on the power play when Trae Alexander (1G) buried a feed from Daniel Havard (2A) and Jackson Beggs (1A), capitalizing on one of the few breakdowns St. George’s allowed despite controlling long stretches of possession. SGS finally broke through late in the second, with Logan Okamura (1G) snapping home the equalizer, setting up a tense third period. But just 76 seconds into the final frame, Yale reclaimed the lead for good as Matteo Zenone (1G) finished a clean passing sequence from Jordan Puckering (1A) and Havard second apple of the day. From there, the story was all Lucca Tassone (51/52), who turned aside 51 shots in a dominant goaltending performance, sealing a 2–1 Yale win despite their opponent more than doubling them in shots.

Edge School (1) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (2) U17

Edge School’s perfect season record against Northern Alberta Xtreme finally cracked, as NAX flipped the script from Friday’s 7–0 loss and ground out a disciplined 2–1 win behind a suffocating defensive effort and a composed night from Satori Tam (27/28). Holter Lefthand (1G) opened the scoring before Ben MacBey (1G) answered moments later, but the turning point came in the second when Rhett Dahl (1G) buried the eventual winner. Edge pushed with a 28–18 shot advantage but couldn’t solve the NAX’ structure, especially after a chaotic stretch of third‑period penalties stalled their momentum. Northern Alberta Xtreme ability to lock down the final 20 minutes secured a much‑needed response win after being shut out the night before to make Edge’s 8-game winning streak come to an end.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Stanstead College (1) EWC

Needing a regulation win to potentially move to the semi-finals, OHA did not get off the start they had hoped for. Matej Dobos of Stanstead would bury a loose puck in close to give the Spartans the go-ahead lead. After some late penalty trouble from Stanstead, OHA was able to restore this game back to even terms after Wade Gallamore buried his first of the East West Challenge. In the second, the game would remain tight with neither team giving an inch. That was until Kamloops Blazers prospect Eli Tverdovsky (2G) put home a gorgeous goal after dangling his way around a Stanstead defender in the neutral zone. Tverdovsky’s third of the tournament would go on to stand as the GWG as Stanstead could not find another answer for Charlie Peppinck (20/21). Tverdovsky potted the empty netter late, giving OHA a chance at a semi-finals berth for tomorrow morning.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) vs Fort Erie International Academy (1) EWC

Kole Anderosov (24/25) and Demitry Gikas (31/34) kept clean sheets in the first as the game remained scoreless after 20. Parson Shahi opened the score with 4:16 left in the second, scoring on the power play for his third goal of the tournament for Pacific Coast. Ethan Naus (2G) would double the lead with 26 seconds left in the frame, beating Gikas for his first of the event. Riley Cave got Fort Erie on the board 2:02 into the third, getting his team within striking distance. But Naus would score 51 seconds later to restore the two-goal cushion and Pacific Coast would close it out from there, holding on for the victory.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (1) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) Female U18 Prep

Despite being outshot 34–21 and spending much of the night killing penalties, South Alberta Hockey Academy controlled the game from the opening shift, powering to a 5–1 win over RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg. SAHA struck three times in the first period, Kailey Karpan (1G, 1A) (1G, 1A) opening the scoring, followed by Kapri Coston (1G) and a power‑play marker from Teylor Crocker (1G). Crocker added another early in the third (1G), and Sara Murdoch (1G, 1A) pushed the lead to 5–0 on SAHA’s third power‑play goal of the afternoon. RHA Winnipeg finally broke through late when Rowyn Street (1G) converted off a feed from Sydney Stibbard (1A) and Sterling Lynch (1A), but Phoenix Buckler’s (20/21) steady 20‑save performance ensured the comeback never materialized. SAHA’s structure, discipline on entries, and lethal power play.

Shawnigan Lake School (5) vs Yale Hockey Academy (1) U18 Prep

Shawnigan Lake School U18 Prep snapped a five‑game skid in emphatic fashion, rolling past Yale 5–1 in a game where their top players finally broke through at the level expected earlier in the season. Ben Staveley (1G) opened the scoring with just two seconds left in the first, setting the tone before Nigel Alberts (1G, 1A) restored the lead late in the second after Yale briefly tied it. The third period was all SLS: Phoenix Hinks (2G) struck twice, including a power‑play marker, while Maddoch Bond (1G) added another on the man advantage as Shawnigan punished Yale’s parade to the box. Keegan Shirley (2A) and Nolan Blankstein (2A) each chipped in multi‑assist efforts, and Liam Ryan (29/30) shut the door completely at even strength. For Yale, Tony Cabelka (1G) provided the lone goal, but their 0‑for‑11 power play and a scoreless third period sealed their fate against a Shawnigan group that finally looked like the version that beat Yale 4-0 back in October.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (7) U15 Prep

Led by Moe Garcia (2G, 2A) and Marko Malbasa (3A) on the scoresheet, RHA Winnipeg was able to cruise to victory after a strong opening two periods, scoring 6 of their 7 goals. Jack Arseniuk (1G, 1A) would add said seventh goal early in the third while Edin Korajac (1G, 1A) and Max Faulkner (1G, 2A) closed the gap in the third for Pilot Mound. 2012-born forward Zac Klassen (2G, 1A) would snatch Pilot Mound’s first two goals, the first multi-goal game of his ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ career.

South Alberta Hockey Academy (2) vs Edge School (1) U15 Prep

In a low scoring affair, Edge School would dig themselves a hole after succeeding two powerplay goals to SAHA in the first. Nelson Sonna Soufo (1G, 1A) would etch SAHA’s first goal onto the scoresheet while Weston Haslbeck scored their second just under three minutes later. Brody Antignani would get one back for Edge in the second, his 20^th of the season. However, the high-octane offense from Edge couldn’t buy an equalizer. Patrick Curtis (38/39) would stand on his head in the third, stopping all 13 shots to lead SAHA to victory over their geographic rivals.

Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (0) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (14) Female U18 Prep

With their full roster back in the lineup, RHA Kelowna was making up for lost time against OHA Black. 12 RHA Kelowna skaters recorded multi-point efforts including a Brooklyn Blomquist (3G, 1A) hat-trick, a Kilah Hodder (5A) five-assist outing and a multi-goal effort from defender Emersyn Allan (2G, 1A). Julianne Hendriks (9/9) would also record her 4^th shutout of the season.

BWC Academy (5) vs Shawnigan Lake School (3) U17 Prep

Goaltenders remained perfect through the opening twenty but the floodgates would open in a high scoring second. Carson Peet opened the scoring for Shawnigan early into the frame, but BWC Academy would strike back with three unanswered of their own, capped off by George Gapeshin’s second of the season. Case Bartley (1G, 1A) would get one back for Shawnigan late in the period, proving to be a big goal as Matthew Morris tied things up early in the third. However, just as things looked as if it were going to OT, Prince George Cougars draft pick Kooper Kozmeniuk would net the GWG on a powerplay with 69-seconds left on the clock. Ryan Fox (1G, 1A) would add the extra insurance soon after. Blake Langdon (39/42) also played a vital role in goal, steering aside 39-shots in the win.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy (0) U17 Prep

In a tight and chippy affair, the score would remain 0-0 through forty minutes of play, despite numerous powerplay opportunities on either side. It wasn’t until early in the third where PCHA’s Kaden Jeffery would net this contest’s lone goal. After Jeffery’s goal, It was Eliott Horner’s (39/39) time to take over. The Courtenay, BC native would stop all 14-shots in the third, shutting out the first seeded Delta Hockey Academy in a major upset.

STAR Hockey Academy (8) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (6) U15 Prep

A short bench didn’t discourage STAR Hockey Academy on their trip to the island to take on PCHA. ET Kennedy (1G, 2A) would tie the game early for STAR, but the Sea Devils remained on top through one with a 3-1 lead. Including the first career U15 Prep goal for phenom scorer Koen Nicholas. Brayden Lindsay (4G) would extend PCHA’s lead to 4-1 early in the second, but STAR would go on to erase that deficit after Zane Hamilton (2G, 1A) ignited a chain of three unanswered. Kaleb Ketch would restore PCHA’s lead with a shorthanded goal soon after but Cole Carter (4G) tied things up before the end of the frame once more for STAR. In the third, Carter would continue to light the lamp, scoring the next three unanswered for a natural hat-trick (or natural 4-goal game one might say), launching STAR into an 8-5 lead. Lindsay would strike once more for PCHA, giving the Tumbler Ridge, BC native four goals of his own, but it was not enough to overcome the late surge by Carter and STAR Hockey Academy.

OHA Edmonton (11) vs Notre Dame Hounds (1) U15 Prep

Only two OHA Edmonton skaters left the ice without a point in their 11-1 victory over Notre Dame. 2012-born defender Deacon Gillespie (2G, 2A) led the charge with a four-point affair with star forward Artello Forestal (1G, 3A) also acquiring four-points up front. Three other skaters would pick up three point outings while Marceli Stepien picked up the lone goal for the Hounds.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (2) vs Rothesay Netherwood School (3/SO) EWC

In order to move into the semi-finals as the 7^th seeded team in the west, Pilot Mound could beat RNS in regulation or overtime. RNS had the chance to spoil the Cinderella run and Dylan Pelletier got them started with an early powerplay marker. PMHA would kill off one more penalty in the first before Aiden Masse would tie things up late off a rebound. In the second, Knox Burton would continue his dominant run at the East West Challenge, picking up his second after his wrister found its way past Cesare Della Santina (30/32). Later in the frame, Jesse Dunlap would notch his third of the event, wiring one past the glove hand of Zackary David (33/35). Dunlap’s goal would spark RNS for the remainder of this contest as they would control a majority of the possession heading forward. However, David would stand on his head in the third, making a handful of key saves to give the Buffaloes a chance in overtime. Pilot Mound would see a fair share of opportunities in overtime, including a cross bar from Burton. But the magnificent play of David and Burton kept the Buffaloes afloat. Burton would make two key backchecks, disrupting two glorious chances for RNS to end it. David on the other hand… the Riverview, NB native stoned RNS on a 2-on-0 chance late in the extra frame, forcing this match into the shootout.

First up to bat, Kilian Alves Pereira. And what does the Echirolles, France resident pull off? None other than French NHLer Alexandre Texier’s patented shootout move. Alves Pereira sneaked it five-hole one-handed past David for the early advantage. Hector Kapitonov was next up for PMHA, beating Della Santina, but had the goal called back for backwards motion. In the third round, Nolan Harding would force an extra round, popping the water bottle off. Drew Moores would make no mistake for RNS, but Max Schutz would come just shy as he neared closer to Della Santina’s crease. RNS would steal the victory from Pilot Mound, leaving the Manitoba-based program fifth place in the standings just shy of a semi-final berth. Okanagan Hockey Academy secures their spot at fourth and will take on South Alberta Hockey Academy Sunday morning.

STAR Hockey Academy (5) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (9) U17

After some steady back-and-forth action for the opening half of this contest, RHA Kelowna would take flight with four unanswered goals to close out the second period. Deacon Wilson (3G, 1A) would bring STAR back to within striking distance with two goals early in the third, but Myeongcheol Sung (4G) would pot two of his own to close the period and create a four goal gap on the scoreboard. Sung would record four goals against STAR, coming into the game with only five on the season. Otis Jacques (2G, 1A) would also record a pair of goals while Jordan Anastasiadis (3A) and Xavier Corten (3A) picked up three helpers each.

Ontario Hockey Academy (2) vs Selwyn House School (4) East U17 Prep

An active Selwyn House powerplay was the difference in their Saturday showdown with Ontario Hockey Academy, going 3/7 on the night. Michael Paliotti (2G, 2A) was included on every Selwyn House goal, giving him four points on the evening. Tom Miele (1G, 1A) would score a powerplay goal of his own late to bring OHA back to within two, but it was too late to make up the margin. Francis Paradis (23/25) recorded the win between the pipes, making 23-saves in the victory,

Prairie Hockey Academy (1) vs Edge School (4) U17 Prep

Edge School would get the home crowd buzzing with a pair of early goals off the sticks of Jack Boutillier and Rylan Saunders (2G). Bryden Wagner would get Prairie back to within one with his thirteenth of the season, but that gap was widened up shortly after with Saunders collecting his thirteenth on the year as well. Nolen Miller would capture a powerplay goal for Edge in the third, rounding off a routine victory over PHA. Delano Pockar (32/33) would steer away 32-shots in the win.

Calgary International Hockey Academy (3) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (2) U17 Prep

After being completely dominated in the opening period by SAHA in the shots department (19-4), Calgary IHA would strike three times in the second. In his U17 Prep debut Ryder Lefaivre would pot their third. Owen Fisher (2G) would respond late for SAHA with two goals of his own to end the frame. Once again in the third, SAHA would take a majority of the shots, but another scoreless period would occur. Colton Lutz (42/44) would make 42-saves in the Calgary IHA victory, giving them their first win of the season against their division rivals.

STAR Hockey Academy (0) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (6) U15

Zachary Kolar (54/60) gave STAR a chance in the first period after stopping all 17 shot attempts by Delta White. However, the dominos began to fall in the second after Sajan Chatha (1G, 1A) broke the ice 34-seconds into play. Delta White would strike for five more including two from Mason Hostyn (2G, 1A). Kolar would make an astounding 54-saves in the loss while Logan Wagner (16/16) stopped all 16 for his first shutout of the season.

North Shore Warriors (2) vs BWC Academy (13) U15 Prep

After a dominant 13-2 victory over North Shore, Kenzo Gibson (2G, 5A) reached the century mark for career points in U15 Prep action. The North Vancouver, BC native now has a grand total of 165 points throughout his ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ career. Kristian Lima (2G, 3A) would also come up big, recording five points on the evening. Rhys McFarlane and Ty Warnick would both pick up their first goals of the season as a surplus. Brody Watson (1G, 1A) and Quinn Herman (1G, 1A) would score the Warriors two goals.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (6) vs St. George’s School (5) U15 Prep

RHA Kelowna would jump off with a hot-start, recording the opening three goals in an away game against St. George’s School. Luca Rogers (2G, 1A) and Jayden Ni (2G, 2A) would bring the Saints back to within one with quick back-to-back goals but Berkeley Reid would put RHA Kelowna back in the driver seat with his fifth of the season. In the third, Rogers and Hudson Lesk (1G, 1A) would tie the game up for St. George’s. Nathan Johnson would restore the RINK lead but Ni would tie things up once again. The game looked as if it were heading to overtime but Ben Tyssen (1G, 1A) cashed in his tenth of the year on the powerplay late to secure the win for RHA Kelowna.

Delta Hockey Academy Black (1) vs BWC Academy (6) U15

With two of the top dogs in the U15 division squaring off, a closer score may have been expected. But the 3^rd seeded BWC Academy had something to prove over 2^nd seeded Delta Black. Nolan Gallagher (2G) would score the first’s lone goal, setting the tone for another four unanswered goals for BWC Academy in the second. Lukas Kravcak would score one back for Delta Black in the third, but the damage had already been done. Alex Iaichkin (4A) led the charge with four helpers on the evening, but the real hero was goaltender William Houle (45/46), making 45-saves in the 6-1 victory over their local rivals.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (5) vs North Shore Warriors (1) U17 Prep

After a scoreless first, Okanagan Hockey Academy would find their touch after Luke Edgehouse (2G, 2A) potted his twelfth of the season on the powerplay. Rylan Bengert (1G, 1A) would double OHA’s lead before the end of the second. OHA would run away with it in the third adding another three with two on the powerplay. Edgehouse would record four-points from the backend while Vlad King scored the lone goal for North Shore.

Jack MacMillan and Cayson Lambert (2G, 1A) connected on a pretty 2-on-1 to kick off our Friday at the 2026 East West Challenge. Soon after, Joey Rheault (1G, 1A) would tie things back up for Ulysse off a close play in front. PCHA would take back their lead before the end of the first, making things 3-1 before the ice clean. Into the second, something clicked for Ulysse. Liam Dassylva and Eliott Guevin (2G) tied things up just over a minute into the period. Just four minutes later and Vincent Gosselin (3G) gives Ulysse the lead. Roman Lavery would get one back on the PP for the Sea Devils, but once again, Ulysse kept clawing back. Gosselin would bury another set to restore Ulysse’s lead, capturing his hat-trick in the process. Lambert brought PCHA to within one at the end of the second. Early in the third, PCHA captain Elliott Hill would slip one five-hole to tie up this venture once more.

Now, after dropping Thursday’s match in a shootout to OHA, another OTL for Ulysse could erase their chance from making the semi-finals. Even an OTW may not be enough. In a desperate attempt to capture as many points as possible. Ulysse head coach Denis Chalifoux opted to pull the goalie in the final minute of play. After some sustained cycling, the puck would make its way to Guevin’s blade at the top of the hashmarks. Guevin would wire it far side, giving Ulysse the 7-6 lead and eventual victory in regulation. If Ulysse Academie finds their way to the semi-finals on Sunday… it’s most likely thanks to this moment right here.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (0) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (7) Female U18 Prep

Kapri Coston (2G) and Kailey Karpan (2G) scored late in the period 1:27 apart as SAHA grabbed a 2-0 lead heading into the intermission. Jaylee Skog and Karpan then scored 33 seconds apart early in the second to double their team’s lead. That lead continued to grow as Maria Facca, Coston and Emily Gerdivich all found the net in the second to extend their advantage to 7-0 after 40. That’s the way this one would end as Reece Sloane (12/12) and Rehn Hall (53/60) kept clean sheets in the third period.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs Stanstead College (2) EWC

Pilot Mound may have surrendered the first goal to Stanstead’s Tanner Hayden (2G), but a quick response from Knox Burton got the Buffaloes back into this contest. Hayden would once again take back the lead for Stanstead early in the second, but Austin Jefferies (1G, 1A) would respond with his third of the event. All tied up heading into the third. Stanstead would throw all they could on Adam Courchesne (46/48). However, they could not find an answer for the Calgary, AB native in the third. In support of Courchesne’s outstanding performance, Max Schutz and Hector Kapitonov would each rip one high blocker on Andrew Shimon (20/24) establishing a two-goal lead they would ride until the buzzer. Pilot Mound came into the event as the 7^th seed out of the west and improve to 2-0-0-0 in the round robin. Stanstead College, the 1^st seed in the east, falls to 0-2-0-0.

Rothesay Netherwood School (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) EWC

Okanagan struck first, and struck often, with Maxx Parfitt (4G, 1A) opening the scoring in the dying seconds of the first, setting the tone for what became a relentless offensive push. Eli Tverdovsky (2G, 1A) doubled the lead midway through the second before Parfitt buried his second of the afternoon moments later, giving OHA full control heading into the third. Trey Tourigny (1G, 1A) extended the gap just 51 seconds into the final frame, and Tverdovsky’s second made it 5–0 before RNS finally found life on the power play. Down big, Rothesay Netherwood refused to fold. Dylan Pelletier (1G) got them on the board on the man advantage, and Jesse Dunlap (2G) followed with a pair of determined finishes around a Joaquin Cadiz (1G, 1A) power‑play marker, suddenly cutting the deficit to one with just over a minute remaining. But any hopes of a miracle were dashed when Parfitt completed his four‑goal performance into an empty net, followed nine seconds later by Kolton Denich sealing it for good.

Delta Hockey Academy (3) vs Bourget College (4) EWC

Kesler Curtis launched Delta into the early lead off a great feed from Penticton Vees prospect Peter Banicevic. Delta would hold on to that lead through the first frame but were beaten for the first time in this event off a rebound potted home by Keifer Pion-Robin (1G, 1A). Shortly after, Jack Morgan would deflect home his second of the East West Challenge to restore Delta’s lead. Heading into the third, Bourget came out flying. Maddx Thinel (1G, 1A) would bury his first shortly after striking the crossbar. However, Delta would once again restore their lead quickly as Sullivan Fogolin’s wrister from the blueline found its way past Samuel Pitcher (30/33). Pitcher wouldn’t let that rattle him off his game as he would get the leg and glove out for a miraculous save by the near post. With their tournament potentially on the line, Bourget amped up the pressure in the final minutes and were rewarded with the game tying goal off the stick of Malik Roy (1G, 1A). Roy would bat home a loose puck between his legs to make things level at 3-3. Less than a minute later, Maxemile Richard (1G, 1A) found himself open in the slot, rifling home the game winning goal over the blocker side of Oliver Bryks (23/27). Bourget would suffocate Delta in the final minutes, not allowing them to generate anything, holding on to the victory and improving to 1-0-0-1 at the 2026 East West Challenge.

Okanagan Hockey Ontario (2) vs Edge School (10) EWC

OHO struck first when Easton Choffe (2G) buried his first of the tournament, but that early spark was quickly swallowed by Edge’s offensive avalanche. Ashton McCann (2G) tied it minutes later, Finn Howes (4G) followed with his first of a four-goal game, and McCann added a power‑play marker to send Edge into the intermission up 3–1. Choffe would momentarily pull OHO back within one early in the second, but Edge responded with a ruthless four‑goal surge. Charlie Tobin (1G, 1A) restored the two‑goal cushion, Howes added a shorthanded strike, Luke McGuire (1G, 2A) extended the lead again, and Howes completed the hat trick late in the frame, his second hat trick in as many games this tournament. The third was more of the same. Remy Koch (1G) and Luke Huska (1G, 3A) piled on before Howes scored his tournament leading seventh goal of the weekend.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (3) vs Edge School (6) Female U18 Prep

Callie Paull (1G, 2A) opened the scoring shorthanded for Edge School, setting the tone for what would be a tough matchup against 4^th ranked RHA Winnipeg. Paull’s goal would stand as the lone tally through the opening twenty, allowing Camryn Thomas to tie the game early in the second. However, Edge would pounce right back on to the scoresheet as Lila Deis and Sara Hettle (1G, 1A) scored back-to-back goals to restore Edge’s advantage. Rowyn Street would get one back for RHA Winnipeg before the end of the frame while Attica Sobering (1G, 1A) tied things up once again early in the third. After a roughing penalty by RHA Winnipeg, Edge would take over. Mika Higgins struck on the powerplay while Avery Michaluk’s (1G, 1A) second of the season added the insurance. Edge School would go on to beat RHA Winnipeg 6-3 with Alexis Ehrman (36/39) making a whopping 36-saves in the W.

Delta Hockey Academy (3) vs North Shore Warriors (0) U17

Graeme Burke (1G, 1A) opened the scoring early for Delta Hockey Academy. Struggling to score against Ben Boudreau (40/42) and the North Shore Warriors this season, Delta pushed hard to find a break in Boudreau. But after a scoreless second, North Shore was still in the fight, thanks to 31-saves through two by Boudreau. However, North Shore couldn’t find the spark offensively on Friday, leading to them being shut out by Cole Chura (24/24). Jack Triance (2G, 1A) would bury an insurance marker in the third and the empty netter. Boudreau once again proves why his save percentage leads the division with another 40-save outing to his stats page.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (5) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (2) U17

Okanagan Hockey Academy U17 punched back from a quiet first period with a five‑goal eruption in the second, powering their way to a 5–2 win over RINK Kelowna in a game that flipped sharply once OHA found its rhythm. After conceding the opener late in the first, Henrik Alexander‑Ward (1G, 1A) jump‑started the comeback with a shorthanded strike, and from there OHA rolled downhill. Cole Schellenberg (1G) buried the go‑ahead goal minutes later, followed by a power‑play finish from Dreyden Rayburn (1G) that fully swung momentum. Brysten Campbell (2G) took over the back half of the frame, off feeds from Nathan Tan (3A), who quietly put together a playmaking clinic. Holden Tamm (26/28) shut the door the rest of the way, anchoring an OHA group that fired 59 shots and controlled the pace wire‑to‑wire after their explosive middle frame.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) vs St. George’s School (2) U18 Prep

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 Prep stormed through a chippy, penalty‑stacked matchup to build a 4–2 edge over St. George’s, flipping the script after a slow first period with a three‑goal surge in the second and a clutch power‑play dagger late in the third. After Noah Chen (1G) opened the scoring early, RINK Kelowna answered with a lightning‑fast one‑two punch from Reid Rabinovitch (1G) and Brody Bradshaw (1G) just 25 seconds apart, then stretched the lead when Miller Watkins (1G) buried a power‑play marker. St. George’s clawed back with a man‑advantage goal from Josh Gravistin (1G), but Ethan Fidelak’s (1G) third‑period power play strike restored the cushion and held firm as Micah Davidson (19/21) shut the door with a calm 19‑save performance.

Fort Erie International Academy (1) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (8) EWC

After Kingston Chisholm (1G, 2A) was denied by Ashton Venzon (52/60) on a penalty shot, Kutcher Aquila (1G, 1A) would beat the Fort Erie netminder high glove 32 seconds later to give SAHA the 1-0 lead. SAHA would explode for six in the second as Devin Pelletier (2G, 1A), Ty Wasyluk, Chisholm, Carson Ward (1G, 2A) and Brennan Finke all found the back of the net. The offence continued for SAHA in the third as Damen Vanderberg (1G, 1A) scored his second of the tournament midway through the period to give his team an 8-0 lead. Charles-Antoine Racette ended the Cash Christie (29/30) shutout bid with 6:33 left to play, giving Fort Erie a late consolation goal.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (6) vs Shawnigan Lake School (4) U17 Prep

After a scoreless first Ellis Thurmeier and Cache Thomas scored back-to-back to give Shawnigan a 2-0 lead. Alexander Sharman (3G) would get RHA Kelowna on the board late in the second with a power play goal to bring his team within one. That goal started a run in the third as Sharman scored 1:28 in before Cole Hamakawa and Charlie Schmitt scored 26 seconds apart midway through the third. Colton Deschamps (1G, 1A) would add to the RHA Kelowna lead less than a minute later as they erased the 2-0 deficit. Shawnigan would make a late push as Chase Murgatroyd and Matthew Morris (1G, 1A) scored 21 seconds apart to bring them within one. However, Sharman secured the win with an empty netter, completing the hat-trick with 36 seconds left.

Ontario Hockey Academy (4) vs BWC Academy (9) EWC

Tale of the tape from the late game, BWC Academy’s powerplay. Already 3/5 coming into their matchup with OHA, BWC Academy would go 5/6 on Friday evening. Logan Lepinski (5A) manned the blueline with five helpers, giving the Everett Silvertips prospect nine points through two games. Dominic Seminoff (2G), Charlie Robinson (2G, 1A) and Justin Moon (2G, 1A) would all acquire multi-goal outings while Elias Papadatos (1G, 2A) and Mark Lee (3A) racked up three points apiece. Nathaniel Noah (2G, 1A) acquired three points on OHA’s side. BWC Academy improves to 2-0-0-0 at the East West Challenge with 15 GF, third best at the event.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) U15 Prep

After exchanging goals in the first period to make things 2-2. PCHA’s Brayden Lindsay (1G, 1A) would take it end-to-end for the go ahead powerplay goal, rifling a wrister far side. However, OHA would get the best of the Sea Devils at the end of the frame as Jake Gates (1G, 1A) and Cohen Short (1G, 1A) scored back-to-back goals for the OHA lead. OHA would ride that wave into the third, collecting another three unanswered to cap off a 7-3 victory. Oakley Speckman (27/30) made 27-saves in the win.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (2) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (3) U17 Prep

RHA Winnipeg had the edge in shots through one, but NAX was able to make it out alive in the first thanks to tallies from Kayton Reinders and Daniel Makovetskiy. The tides would change in the second as NAX held the advantage in shots, but Brady Filmon (1G, 1A) would score the lone goal for RHA Winnipeg on the powerplay. Markus Knaub would tie things up part way through the third while Atley Feniuk played hero, scoring his 10^th of the season to decide this tight matchup against NAX. Miller Fettes (34/36) walked away with 34-saves in the win while Dawson Sheehan (42/45) made a respectable 42-saves for NAX.

STAR Hockey Academy (1) vs North Shore Warriors (10) U15

Only three skaters were left off the scoresheet for the Warriors in a 10-1 victory over STAR Hockey Academy. Talen Lindsay (2G, 2A) and Cody Simmons (2G, 2A) led the charge with four-point outings while Nicolo Lanari (3A) and Sawyer Shepard (3A) each acquired three helpers on the night. Ayaan Rao (33/34) made a total of 33-stops in the win, only being beaten once by STAR’s Asher Kekke.

OHA Edmonton (5) vs Edge School (2) U15

Following a scoreless first, Marek Fetter (2G) would break the ice for OHA Edmonton 33-seconds into the middle frame. Max Holland would double their lead under two minutes later on the powerplay. After getting into some penalty trouble of their own, Edge School would respond with two powerplay goals of their own, coming off the sticks of Satoshi Takeda and Parker Lascelle (1G, 1A). Fetter would restore OHA Edmonton’s advantage before the end of the second. OHA Edmonton would hold on the in the third with an extra two insurance markers provided by Kirk Girard and Hayden Condie.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Yale Hockey Academy (1) U17 Prep

After Yale beat OHA on home ice back in October, it was time for them to return the favour. Gage Mark (2G) got things started late on the powerplay to give OHA the lead through one. Mark would bury another halfway through the second to establish a 2-0 lead, this one also coming on the man advantage. Terrace, BC native Grady Monsen would bury his fourth of the season to put OHA ahead by three. Matthew Zaitchikov would get one back for Yale late, but that’s all that got past Maddox Slater (44/45). Slater would post 44-saves in the victory while Coby Kidwell (47/50) gave Yale a chance with a 47-save effort.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (2) vs Yale Hockey Academy (10) U15 Prep

Teagan Dernisky (2G, 2A) and Parker McMillan (2G, 3A) were up to their old tricks again, decimating the scoresheet on a Friday evening. Dernisky secured four-points, pushing his season totals above the 80 mark. McMillan posted five, bringing him to within three points of breaking the all-time U15 Prep scoring record set my Connor McClennon (143) back in 2017. Connor Baines (1G, 3A) also racked up a four-point outing while Jack Hagen (2G) potted a pair in his U15 Prep debut. Cash Hunter and Ben Tyssen would find the scoresheet for RHA Kelowna in the 10-2 loss.

Lower Canada College (5) vs Selwyn House School (2) East U17 Prep

After Selwyn House jumped to an early 2-0 lead, LCC would take back control of the game after Eli Cohen and Alex Gervasi (1G, 1A) scored 41-seconds apart. LCC would garner one more in the second thanks to defender Joshua Simsovic (1G, 1A). That goal would stand as the GWG as Alessandro Sforza (32/34) remained perfect after surrendering the early pair.

Edge School (7) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (0) U17

Despite surrendering five powerplays to the Northern Alberta Xtreme, Edge School was able to come out on top by a wide margin in their rival matchup. Kyden Bartole (2G, 3A) and Easton Armstrong (3G, 1A) carried the main load of the offense, combining for nine-points. Brik McCord-Cooper (4A) would also play a vital role, picking up four helpers. Goaltender Chase Miles (32/32) also continues his impressive streak, recording his third consecutive shutout. Miles has now made 90-consecutive saves over his past three appearances.

OHA Edmonton (0) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (3) U17

Prairie Hockey Academy continues their impressive win streak with a clean win over OHA Edmonton, picking up their 11^th win in a row inside ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ competition. Jake Myhre’s opening tally stood as the game winner with Kayden Gregoire (37/37) picking up 37-saves for his first shutout of the season. Kaleb Crowe would snatch the insurance marker while Addison Wanner (1G, 1A) recorded his first of the season in the third period.

Prairie Hockey Academy (2) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (4) U17 Prep

Luke Pratte was able to open the scoring for Prairie off a turnover only 23-seconds into play. However, SAHA would strike right back as Briggs Fabro (2G) buried his 10^th of the season just over a minute later. Later in the frame, Juris Busse would capitalize once again for SAHA, giving them the lead through twenty. Fabro would add another to SAHA’s tally early in the second, but a late goal from Owen Grassick brought Prairie to within striking distance for the third. Early in the third, Nixon Bettenson would ensure the SAHA win. Chase Nielson (26/28) would collect 26-saves in the W.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Shawnigan Lake School (4) Female U18 Prep

After a scoreless first period, the action would begin to fizz up as Audrina Freeman ripped home her 7^th of the season to put OHA ahead. Tess McGee (2G) would bring Shawnigan back into contention soon after but OHA would restore their lead back into order off a Lylah Dietz powerplay tally. However, late in the second Leah Hill (2G) would snipe a powerplay goal home for Shawnigan as well from a sharp angle. In the third, OHA would once again regain their lead off a quick play from Makenna Brassard. As the clock winded down, McGee would tie things up in the final minute of play for her second of the evening. In overtime, Grace Cooper (2A) would miss a penalty shot attempt, but make up for her mistake on the next play, springing Hill onto a breakaway where she would bury the OT winner, mounting a comeback victory on home ice for Shawnigan.

Devin Doyle (3G) would get things going for the Hounds early into play, curling into the slot before firing home the opening goal. However, Prairie would leave the first on top as Tristan Reimer and Noah Delaurier (1G, 1A) would score a pair. Notre Dame would claw back in the second with a pair of their own, restoring their one goal lead ahead of the final frame. Come the third period, Prairie found their groove, scoring four unanswered goals in the opening six minutes. Soren Hayden (1G, 3A) would ignite things off under a minute in off a strong solo effort before rifling one five hole. Hayden’s tally would be followed up by Kase Gellner (1G, 1A) and a pair of goals by Eric Helland (2G). Doyle would get one back for Notre Dame, clinching his hat-trick in the process, but it was not enough to erase Prairie’s hot start as they fall 6-4.

Notre Dame Hounds (7) vs Indigenous Sports Academy (3) U17 Prep

Following a Seth Baptiste (1G, 1A) goal late in the first to put ISA up by one, Notre Dame’s Lukas Lundgren would tie things up with under a minute to go in the frame. Lundgren’s goal would lay the groundwork for the Hounds in the second as they would score four unanswered to establish a 6-2 lead. Maximus Bigchild would strike once more for ISA while Matthew Boekelder (2G, 2A) scored Notre Dame’s seventh of the evening, capping off a four point outing. Reg Huebner (2G, 3A) would sit atop the scoresheet for the Hounds, collecting five points while Caden Smith (32/35) posted 32-stops in the victory.

Bishop’s College School earned a significant victory over Ulysse Academie on Friday, only looking to build upon it on Saturday, a task they executed to perfection. Elliot Bertrand (2G, 1A) scored two in the first, and Luca Stasi (2G, 4A) took over in the second. BCS led 3-0 through twenty, but Stasi’s two goals and four points in the second period alone blew the game wide open before the game was even half over. The six goals in the second periodÌýwereÌýenough to secure a blowout, with two more in the third the cherry on top of a 11-0 win. BCS goaltender Timofey Williams (21/21)Ìýwasn’tÌýas busy as his counterpart but still did everythingÌýrequired ofÌýhim to earn the shoutout victory.Ìý

Lower Canada College (6) vs Bishop’s College School (3) East U17 PrepÌýÌý

Lower Canada College’s U17 Prep squad scored twelve goals on Friday in their win over Okanagan Hockey Ontario, leaving Bishop’s College School with an extremely daunting task on Saturday morning. Today’s game was a significantly tougher test for LCC, with their early 2-0 lead erased in quick fashion by BCS, who came from behind to tie the game at 2-2. Once things were all square in the second period, though, Lower Canada College went on a run that put breathing room between them and their opponents, led by Mario Lapenna (4G, 1A). Lapenna scored three of the next four goals after the game was tied at two, adding to his first-period goal to post four goals and five points today. Lapenna’s five points now brings his January totals to 15 goals and 32 points, with LCC having lost just once in 2026.ÌýÌý

King Heights Academy (8) vs King’s Edgehill School (5) East U18 PrepÌýÌý

King’s Edghill School outplayed King Heights Academy inÌýthe majority ofÌýtheir Saturday clash; KES outshot KHS 11-5 in the first and 13-8 in the third periods, even outscoring King Heights 3-1 in the third period. However, the second period played by King Heights AcademyÌýandÌýanÌýemphatic offensive output. SemenÌýNizhnikovÌý(4G, 2A) scored KHA’s only of the first period and went to work in a big way in the second.ÌýNizhnikovÌýscored three more goals and five more points in the second, helping KHA to six goals in the second alone. Okanagan Hockey Academy’s U17 squads’ first clash with Coeur d’Alene this weekend ended in a comeback win for OHA, with the visitors erasing a 3-1 deficit to win 5-3. OHA looked to follow up Friday’s comeback win with another positive result, and on Saturday, their outcome was more secure from the outset. Tyler Donaldson (1G, 2A) got the party started with a goal on OHA’s first powerplay of the game, the kick-offÌýpointÌýfor an OHA performance thatÌýdidn’tÌýgive CDA a chance on Saturday. Converse to Friday’s game, OHA struck early and often, scoring four powerplay goals in the first two periods alone. Selwyn House School’s victory over Okanagan Hockey Ontario on Saturday was defined by their start to the game, as after just one period of play, it was clear that OHO had a near-impossible mountain to climb. John Chatzis (3G) scored twice to have Selwyn two in front in the first 45 seconds of the game, aÌýfirst periodÌýthat saw Selwyn score twice more following that, leading 4-0 through twenty minutes of play. OHO’s performance improved, but the deficit they fell into through one was too great to climb out of, as Selwyn held on for the 5-1 win.Ìý

Mount Academy (2) vs Fort Erie International Academy (3) East U18 PrepÌýÌý

Fort Erie International Academy cameÌýintoÌýtheir final game of January 2026 looking to complete the month with a perfect 4-0 record, fighting Mount Academy for the second time this season. Early in the first period, Fort Erie grabbed goals from YuriÌýBaunovÌýand Christophe Gagne within 2:28 of one another to grab FEIA a 2-0 lead. Mount snatched one back, but the lead held by FEIA kept them 2-1 in front all the way until the third period. KonstantinÌýZhibarovkiiÌýtied the game at 2 in the back half of the third period, but unfortunately for them, the game would be tied for just 37 seconds. Pascal Bezares (1G, 1A) scored to reestablish Fort Erie’s lead,ÌýmakingÌýit 3-2 FEIA. The admirable Mount Academy comeback came up short with Fort Erie picking up the win.Ìý

Okanagan Hockey Academy (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5) U15ÌýÌý

Yale Hockey Academy’s U15 contingent scraped past Okanagan Hockey Academy on Friday, with Matthew Tang’s overtime winner lifting YHA above OHA by a 3-2 scoreline. The two played once more on Saturday, with the victor, Yale, making quicker work of their OHA counterparts. Jack Hagen (3G) scored the first of what would eventually be a hat-trick in the first period, with his goal added to by Friday’s overtime hero Matthew Tang (1G, 1A) scoring later in the first, with the defenceman popping up with another productive offensive outing from the back end. Hagen’s two second period goals to complete his hat-trick led the way to Yale’s 5-1 win.ÌýÌý

Calgary International Hockey Academy (2) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (4) U15ÌýÌý

The Calgary International Hockey Academy and Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 squads played twice head-to-head in January, at the beginning and end of the month, with Saturday’s head-to-head clash following a 6-1 win by NAX over CIHA back on January 7. A pair of early penalties to Prairie Hockey Academy’s U17 squad presented RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg a five-on-three opportunity a mere 42 seconds into the hockey game, a start Prairie would have done anything to avoid. Worse yet, RHAW struck on the five-on-three, leading 1-0 andÌýremainingÌýon the powerplay following the goal. That situation could have easily been RHAW’s chance to stick an early dagger into Prairie Hockey Academy. However, in quick succession, PHA flipped the script on RHAW. On that same early penalty kill, Prairie scored two short-handed goals, with NoahÌýDelaurierÌý(1G, 2A) and Jake Myhre (1G, 1A) scoring less than one minute apart toÌýestablishÌýa 2-1 lead. Balmoral Hall SchoolÌýdidn’tÌýgive them too much of a break come Saturday, with four goals in the first half of the first period letting Balmoral run away with the game early, leading Balmoral to a 6-1 lead through twenty minutes. BalmoralÌýwouldn’tÌýmaintainÌýtheir pace of six goals per game, but they cameÌýpretty close. Six Balmoral players earned four or more points; KateÌýChubackÌý(4G, 1A) led the way with four goals, Lydia Hill (3G, 2A) picked up a hat-trick herself, with Matylda Stepien (2G, 2A), Sadie McKay (1G, 4A), Brannagh Rae (1G, 3A), and Payton Henwood (1G, 3A) chipping in big as well.ÌýUltimately, BalmoralÌýprevailed 15-3, hitting the PMHA net with 71 shots in all.ÌýÌý

Saturday marked the fourth matchup between Delta Hockey Academy Black and Okanagan Hockey Academy Black’s Female U18 Prep squads in January alone. Delta Black had bested Okanagan Black in all sixÌýpreviousÌýgames this season, and unfortunately for OHA, SaturdayÌýwouldn’tÌýget any better for OHAB. Okanagan made Delta work for it, tying the game at one in the first and watching goaltender MarthaÌýSinagowitzÌý(49/52) stopÌýalmost everythingÌýthrown at him, but DHAB shone through. Lucy Williams (1G, 1A) and Kinleigh Blane scored in the second to extend Delta’sÌýleadÌýto 3-1, and in the third, DHAB locked it down completely. Up 3-1, Delta Black managed to gold OHAB to just one shot on goal in the whole third-period, outshooting Okanagan Hockey Academy 21-1 and hanging on for the 3-1 win.Ìý

Ontario Hockey Academy Mavericks (3) vs CIH Academy (6) East U18 PrepÌýÌý

The Ontario Hockey Academy Mavericks won 2-1 on Friday night over Okanagan Hockey Ontario in the Eastern U18 Prep division thanks to DmitriiÌýTitovskii’sÌýthird period game-winner. CIH Academy was their opponent on Saturday, and CIH arrived ready and able to knock off theÌýMacericks. CIH scored four of the first five goals in the game, led by a pair of goals off the stick of Ricky Deslauriers. Jacob Kirstein was excellent in between the pipes for CIH, stopping a whopping 37 of 40 for the victory.ÌýÌý

Edge School (5) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (3) U15ÌýÌý

Edge School’s U15 squad bested Prairie Hockey Academy in both of theirÌýpreviousÌýtwo head-to-head contests heading into this weekend’s two-game set. Edge plays Prairie Saturday and Sunday, with Edge heading towards Saturday on the back of four straight wins. It took Edge awhile to really pull away from Prairie, with PHA staying in the fight throughout. The first two Edge School goals both met an equalizing goal from PHA, making it 2-2 as the game marched toward the end of the second. Late in the period, Edge popped up with two goals in just 50 seconds, with Parker Lascelle and Gio Niven (1G, 1A) scoring in quick-fire fashion. Colton Roussel’s second of the game in the third helped ensure Edge’s win over PHA.ÌýÌý

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (11) vs Notre Dame Hounds (1) U15 PrepÌýÌý

January for the Notre Dame Hounds’ U15 Prep squadÌýhasn’tÌýbeen producing the resultsÌýthey’dÌýhave wanted, but they played their best game of the season on Friday night, pushing RHA Winnipeg to the brink. RHAW won 6-4, but Notre Dame’s performance was by far their best of 2026. Unfortunately, itÌýwasn’tÌýa fight they were able to recreate against RINK Winnipeg on Saturday, with RHAW rolling through their provincial opponents. Easton Pitz (2G, 1A) scored twice in the first period to set the RHAW train in motion, and RINK Winnipeg would only increase their goal output as the game went on, scoring four in the second and five more in the third. In addition to the three points from Pitz, Ryder MacLean led the way with five points (2G, 3A) and Eli Wasylyk (2G, 2A) chipped in with two goals and four points. Nicholas BuhayÌýwasn’tÌýunder muchÌýpressure butÌýstill made 27 saves on 28 shots for the win.ÌýÌý

Okanagan Hockey Academy (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5) U15 PrepÌýÌý

Yale Hockey Academy bested Okanagan Hockey Academy on Friday night at the Summit Centre in the first of back-to-back clashes between the two teams. OHA looked to respond with aÌýbouncebackÌýin the second half of their weekend series, but unfortunately for them, one of Yale’s studs broke through in the first period. TeaganÌýDerniskyÌýscored a pair, the firstÌýassistedÌýby Parker McMillan’s 78th point of the season. Yale extended the lead by two more goals in the second and were able to stem any OHA pushback, keeping themselves in a comfortable position. In addition toÌýDernisky’sÌýpair of goals, Yale got two points apiece from Max Ritchey (1G, 1A), Tyson Wolanski (2A), and Killian Wall (2A) in the 5-1 win that saw them outshoot OHA 51-17.ÌýÌý

OHA Edmonton (6) vs Edge School (4) U15 PrepÌýÌý

OHA Edmonton have been the cream of the crop in the U15 Prep division this season.ÌýNot manyÌýin Western Canada have been able to knock off an OHA Edmonton team, but NAX proved themselves to be one of them, winning 4-2 over the league leaders on Friday. Faced down with an Edge School test on Saturday, OHAE responded impressively. Edge School shut the door in the first, but OHAE went on to score four of the five second-period goals to give OHAE a commanding lead through two. Edge found a way to push back, no doubt giving OHAE the sweats, but Micah Montgomery’s (2G) early goal in the third stood as the winner in a 6-4 OHA Edmonton victory.ÌýÌý

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs OHA Edmonton (6) U17 PrepÌýÌý

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy sprinted into the lead in the first five minutes of the first period against OHA Edmonton in the U17 Prep division today, with goals from Maddox Ramage (1G, 1A) and Bladen Norton giving PMHA a 2-0 lead. Minutes after Pilot Mound’s second, PMHA went on the powerplay for the chance at a 3-0 lead early on. That powerplay, though, proved to be crucial in OHAE’s comeback. KaysunÌýBrunhamÌýand Jaxon Moss scored shorthanded goals for OHAE just 25 seconds apart to instantaneously drag the game back to even ground. OHAEÌýwouldn’tÌýleave the outcome uncertain from there, scoring two more before the first period had even ended to turn a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 lead. The Northern Alberta Xtreme’s U18 Prep squad have been amongst the best in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ this season, but despiteÌýwhat’sÌýbeen an excellent year, Prairie Hockey Academy recently bested NAX.ÌýPrevious toÌýJanuary 24, Northern AlbertaÌýhadn’tÌýlost once when the game has gone past regulation, but Prairie bested them 3-2 in a shootout. Saturday was NAX’s opportunity to get some revenge in the twoÌýteam’sÌýsecond clash in just one week. Fort Erie sprinted to the lead in Saturday’s game, scoring four in the first to take a 4-0 lead through one period of play. Mount Academy wasÌýseemingly outÌýof the game, and while an excellent second period dragged them back in the game, Fort Erie extended their lead further mere seconds after Mount pulled back within one. Alexis Timbro scored twoÌýgoalsÌýand four points,Ìýand Charles-Antoine Racette scored a goal and three points to lead Fort Erie’s way, with FEIA scoring four straight goals in the first and three straight goals following MA’s three-spot. Jordan Bigelow (24/25) was solid in the win with 24 stops, pushing BWC to 2–0 on the season series and handing Kelowna another narrow loss despite a gutsy, disciplined push.Ìý

St. George’s edged out a wild 4–3 OT finish, leaning on late-game poise to seal it. After Zach Lam (1G) opened the scoring on a power play for St. George’s, CDA punched back with quick-strike goals from Camden Masterson (1G) and Knox Vogel (1G). Gavin Payne (1G,1A) added another in the second to make it 3–1, but St. George’s refused to fade, first Michael Taylor (1G) cut the deficit before Bradey Ching (2G) took over, tying the game in the third and burying the OT winner just 45 seconds into the extra frame. Despite CDA’s defensive grit and opportunistic finishing, St. George’s controlled the key moments, capitalizing on their lone power play and riding Ching’s clutch scoring to a comeback victory.Ìý

Aidyn Carkner (23/24) and Emma Ward (39/42) kept clean sheets in the first with Ward making an impressive 19 saves. Elise Miller would finally breakthrough late in the second as she beat Carkner with 5:13 left in the frame for her 10th of the season. On the power play to start the third, Shawnigan would take full advantage as Grace Cooper’s ninth of the season evened the score at 1-1 just 46 seconds in. Tess McGee scored the eventual game winner for Shawnigan just a few minutes later, beating Ward for her eighth of the season. Shawnigan continued to show their stranglehold of the game in the third as Taylor Simpson scored with 3:59 left to give her team some breathing room and secure the win. Leah Hill (2A) led all skaters with two points.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (4) vs BWC Academy (1) U18 PrepÌý

After trading goals early in the first, Trail, BC native Ben Fragle (1G, 2A) would restore the OHA Penticton advantage. OHA Penticton’s one goal lead would carry on through the second as both Josh Wu (30/34) and Charlie Peppinck (45/46) remained perfect through the middle frame. In the third, Landon Nagle (1G, 1A) would bury OHA Penticton’s third which would go on to stand as the insurance marker in a 5-1 victory. Luke Assi (1G, 1A) and Marcus Domhof would add the late pair while Peppinck stood on his head for a massive 45-save performance to close out our Saturday.

ÌýTwo of the best Female U18 Prep teams this season clashed in Delta this morning, with DHA Green hosting RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna in a rematch of the two team’s clash back on January 10. DHAG prevailed 5-2 on that day, and come Friday, they’d control the game again. Adie Schneider had a pair of assists in their last head-to-head clash, and through two periods on Saturday, it looked as if her lone goal could make the ultimate impact. The third period was controlled entirely by RHAK, who dictated the pace of play and spent long stretches in the offensive zone. However, at every turn, DHAG’s Mya Young (38/38) popped up to make the save. She’d stop all 18 of RHAK’s third-period efforts and stopped all 38 shots in total, leaving Young and Schneider the heroes of DHAG’s 1-0 win.

ÌýKing’s Edgehill School (7) vs Mount Academy (4) East U18 Prep

ÌýMount Academy’s East U18 Prep season picked back up Friday after two months off from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ league play to face King’s Edgehill School who themselves returned to play on Thursday, losing 9-3 at the hands of Bourget College. Much of the game was spent with KES chasing Mount Academy in some way; MA scored early in the first period to take a lead, and once it slipped, they’d score twice early in the second to lead again. With Cohen Paul’s (2G) pair of goals leading the way, Mount led 3-2 heading toward the end of the second period. Grady Betts (3G, 1A) scored his second goal of the game late in the second to pull the game back to level terms heading into the third, but a quick goal from Noah Richard (1G, 2A) reestablished Mount Academy’s lead. It looked through the early stages like it was destined to be Mount Academy’s day, but in a flash, King’s Edgehill School grabbed and sprinted away with the game. Liam Nash (1G, 1A) scored a crucial goal with less than three minutes left to extend the lead to 6-4 before Liam Befus (1G, 2A) tucked an empty-net goal to win a 7-4 thriller for King’s Edgehill School.

ÌýUlysse Academie vs Bishop’s (5) College School (4) East U18 Prep

ÌýUlysse Academie and Bishop’s College School played twice in the 2025 portion of this season. In their first game, back in early November, Ulysse prevailed 3-2, handing BCS just their second loss of the season at that point. When they rematched in early December, another razor-thin contest played out, this time ending 5-4 in Bishop’s favour. There are three head-to-head matchups between these two squads in January with Friday’s the first of their three games in less than two weeks. Fortunately for any fans keen on watching the following head-to-head matchup, Friday unfolded in a thrilling manner yet again, proving these two teams can’t play a boring game against one another. By the halfway mark of the first period, the game looked to be in Bishop’s control with their 2-0 lead earned through goals from Gavin Rusenstrom and Mavrik Legault. However, 59 seconds after BCS doubled up their lead, Maddox Guerin (2G) pulled a goal back with a shot that would, in retrospect, represent the game’s momentum changing hands. Now back within one, the rest of the first was all Ulysse, grabbing goals from Sam-Félix Poulin (1G, 1A) and Jordan Rancourt (1G, 1A). Guerin scored again early in the second prior to Alex Graveline’s (1G, 1A) 5-2 goal. BCS didn’t Goa way quietly with a pair of goals from Zach Jockers (2G) pulling them back within one by the halfway point of the third period. That’s as close as BCS could come, though, with Ulysse hanging on for a 5-4 win.

ÌýNorth Shore Warriors (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy (9) Black U15

ÌýThe U15 North Shore Warriors squad doesn’t actually have a weekend with multiple games until February, with their first weekend of January providing the Warriors a back-to-back against the Yale Hockey Academy and Delta Hockey Academy White. Unfortunately for North Shore, neither of those games provided them a victory. The team’s last win came back on November 21, predating a nine-game slide that they carried into Friday. After 20 minutes, North Shore would have felt okay about their position in the game thus far. They led through Abel Lindsay (1G, 1A), let Delta score twice, and tied the game through Ethan Naude. The first was the closest period of the game, though. DHAB turned up the pressure, outshooting North Shore 23-1 in the third period alone and scoring seven straight goals led by Wynn Carey’s (2G, 3A) five point outing.

ÌýDelta Hockey Academy (5) vs North Shore Warriors (2) U18 Prep

ÌýDelta Hockey Academy’s U18 Prep squad had a red-hot start to the season that tailed off near the end of 2025, having lost four of their last five heading into Friday’s game against the North Shore Warriors. It looked like it might not be there day against North Shore after Sean Murphy and Vlad Ibragimov scored, the latter coming five minutes into the third period to establish a 2-1 North Shore lead. The Warriors lead as the game marched toward the final seven minutes, but following Peter Banicevic’s equalizer, Delta found a spark. Treyce Pavlic scored twice following the game-tying goal and Koshan Saggu (1G, 1A) scored to give DHA four goals in the last seven minutes of the game and an eventual 5-2 win.

ÌýPacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) vs BWC Academy (4) U18 Prep

The U18 Prep squads of Pacific Coast Hockey Academy and BWC Academy faced one another back on December 19, not long ago based on the team’s schedules to now. PCHA prevailed 7-3 on home ice on that day, but to start 2026, BWC churned out two excellent performances. A tight 3-2 loss at the hands of a very capable RHA Kelowna squad was followed by a win over Okanagan Hockey Academy the following day. PCHA hadn’t played since their win over BWC, a win that marked their fourth in a row to end the calendar year. PCHA scored thrice in the first period alone to take the lead over BWC, but every time the Sea Devils scored, BWC managed to respond with one of their own. The game settled down after a high-event first-period, but before it did, Elias Papadatos’ third goal of the season for BWC tied the game at three less than 80 seconds into the second. Following that, the two teams battled, grinding a scoreless game toward the third period. The game’s final powerplay produced the game’s final goal, with Declan Iacoviello setting up Luca Martyniuk (1G, 1A) on the back door to deflect home the game-winner for BWC, lifting them over PCHA 4-3 in a thriller.

Rothesay Netherwood School (2) vs Bourget College (0) East U18 Prep

ÌýFriday’s Featured Game was a tight affair with RNS’s return to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ action. Quebec Remparts prospect Dylan Pelletier (2G) would connect in the first off a 3-on-1, blasting home a great feed from William Cole. From here on out, the offense on either side struggled to generate chances. Those few that got past were all thwarted by RNS’s Marty Hackenberg (35/35) and Bourget’s Zachary Botelho (23/24). Botelho would make some key stops in the third, but his team in front of him could not find an answer for Hackenberg as he stopped all 35 attempts by the Voltigeurs. Pelletier would find the empty net on a hail mary attempt from his own end, cementing the victory for RNS.

ÌýPacific Coast Hockey Academy (1/OT) vs St. George’s School (0) U17 Prep

Generally, when observing such a low-scoring game, there are two things that stand out massively: the goaltending and the special teams. PCHA’s Rio Manhas (32/32) and St. George’s Joffrey Chan (28/29) both produced incredibly solid performances in an attempt to one-up their opposite counterpart with both shutting out their opponents over the sixty minutes. Heading into the final stretch of the third period, there was nothing to separate the two teams, with PCHA’s penalty kill killing off three St. George’s power plays in the third period to keep the game tied. The Sea Devils’ penalty kill was successful on all seven opposition powerplay attempts in the game, and after SGS took a penalty late in the third period, PCHA finally broke through in overtime. It was the PCHA powerplay that finally sealed the deal for them, with captain Owen Hyde taking a pass at the side of the net and sliding the puck through Chan’s five-hole to give his team the 1-0 overtime win and help Manhas to a 32-save shutout.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (4) vs North Shore Warriors (2) Female U18 Prep

Okanagan Hockey Academy Female earned a hard-fought 4–2 road win over the North Shore Warriors with the help of their special-teams in a tight matchup. After North Shore opened the scoring through Madison Brazeau (1G), OHA responded shorthanded with Makenna Brassard (1G, 1A) finishing a well-timed play set up by Audrina Freeman (2A), setting the tone for the rest of the game. Shea Warnick (1G) gave OHA their first lead of the game in the second period before Gia Carella (1G) tied it back up on the power play, but the visitors took control in the third as Lauren West (1G) capitalized with the extra skater advantage and Lylah Dietz (1G) sealed the result with an empty-net goal late. In net, Maive Gosselin Berg stood tall with 25 saves, outduelling Emma Ward, as OHA’s disciplined push and timely scoring proved to be the difference.

Yale Hockey Academy (12) vs STAR Hockey Academy (1) U15

Yale Hockey Academy put on a commanding, wire-to-wire performance, overwhelming STAR Hockey Academy in a decisive 12–1 victory. Yale struck early and often, with Matthew Tang (1G) opening the floodgates before Vanik Virk (1G, 2A) and Brady Barrett (2G, 1A) kept the momentum rolling in a four-goal first period that left STAR chasing the game. The offense only intensified in the second, as Gavin Bruinsma (1G, 2A) drove play through the middle of the ice, RJ Livingson (1G, 2A) and Max Nicholson (1G) added to their goal totals of the year, and Emmett Rumbold (2G, 2A) began a multi-point night that showcased Yale’s depth scoring. After STAR briefly spoiled the shutout through Bodhi Booth (1G), Yale slammed the door in the third with more contributions from Rumbold, Barrett, and Owen Dumansky (1G).

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (14) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U15

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg wasted no time asserting control and never looked back, rolling to a dominant 14–2 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds. The tone was set early as Brock Labelle (2G, 2A) and Brantley Church (1G, 1A) struck within the opening minute, kickstarting a seven-goal first period that also featured goal scoring from Ryan Koenig (1G, 1A), Maddox Rinn (2G), Hunter Lang (2G), and Jackson Lussier (1G). Jax Fellner (3G, 2A) was a constant driver of offense, finding soft ice and finishing with authority, while Yuto Agapito (4A) quietly orchestrated play with poise and vision. RINK Winnipeg showed no let-up in the second as Cooper Greenham (1G, 1A) and Max Manaigre (1G, 1A) added to the surge, before Labelle capped the scoring late in the third to punctuate the performance. In goal, Cooper Beardy turned aside 20 of 22 shots to steady things defensively.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (3) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep

Yale Hockey Academy leaned on depth, discipline, and timely finishing to secure a 5–3 win over Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy in a back-and-forth contest on Friday. Yale opened the scoring late in the first period through Chris Kokkoris (1G), before Wenatchee answered quickly as Anderson Carter (1G) converted off a feed from Jake Collins (1G, 1A) to even things up. The second period swung the game in Yale’s favour as Alex Ostrovskyy (1G, 1A) struck unassisted, followed by Gunho Choi (1G) finishing a on a breakaway set up by Ronin Martin (1A). Wenatchee pushed back early in the third with Collins cashing in off passes from Seth Banner (1A) and Elijah Schneggenburger (1A), but Yale responded under pressure with Matteo Di Stefano (1G) scoring into the empty net before Dawson Brown (1G) kept the Wild within reach late. Any comeback hopes were sealed in the final seconds as Seth Castronuovo (1G) finished off a play from Ostrovskyy (1G, 1A), while Parker Kulmatycki stood tall in goal with 37 saves to backstop Yale to the victory.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (6) U17 Prep

Yale Hockey Academy U17 Prep put on a dominant, wire-to-wire performance Friday night, overwhelming Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy 6–1 behind a massive 78–14 shot advantage. Yale struck early, opening the scoring just 1:27 in as Matteo Zenone (1G) finished a play set up by Matthew Zaitchikov (1G, 1A) and Kaleb Gauthier (1A), before Ryder Buick (2G) took over the first period with a pair of goals, including one off a feed from Dominic Ponte (1G, 2A). Jackson Beggs (1G) added to the first-period surge, again with Ponte (1G, 2A) involved, as Yale raced out to a 4–0 lead after twenty minutes. Wenatchee briefly found life early in the second through Kason Nicholson (1G), but that momentum was quickly shut down when Ponte (1G, 2A) answered for Yale minutes later. The finishing touch came in the third as Zaitchikov (1G, 1A) capped a strong offensive night with his second point.

Calgary International Hockey Academy (5) vs OHA Edmonton (7) U15

OHA Edmonton completed a dramatic comeback to edge Calgary International Hockey Academy 7–5 in a back-and-forth matchup that swung repeatedly before a decisive third period. OHA opened the scoring midway through the first with Kingston Ireland (1G, 2A), but Calgary answered late in the frame through Emerson Constable (1G, 1A). The second period saw momentum shift multiple times, with Hayden Condie (1G) restoring OHA’s lead before Calgary struck twice on the power play via Kirin Chan (1G) and Gavin Worobey (1G, 1A), only for OHA to respond with goals from Kole Imlay (2G, 1A) and later tiebreakers as the game remained tight. In the third, OHA took control as Cohen Courchesne (1G, 2A), Max Holland (1G), Marek Fetter (1G, 1A), and Imlay (2G, 1A) combined for four goals in a dominant stretch that proved too much to overcome, despite a late Calgary push capped by Rhett Davis (1G). With key contributions across the lineup and timely scoring when it mattered most, OHA Edmonton secured the 7–5 victory in an entertaining U15 showdown.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (5/OT) U18 Prep

For the third time this season, Pilot Mound Hockey Academy and RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg needed extra time, and once again it was RINK finding the final answer, edging PMHA 5–4 in overtime. Pilot Mound came out sharp, striking twice in the opening frame with a power-play marker from Casey Silverman (1G) and a finish from Hector Kapitonov (1G, 1A), both set up by a dominant night from Knox Burton (1G, 3A), who continues to pace PMHA’s offense with 26 points on the season. RINK Winnipeg responded quickly, as Christian Pitz (1G, 1A) and Markus Knaub (1G, 2A) swung momentum back before the end of the first, then carried it into the second with goals from Atticus Cruz (1G) and Athens Shingoose (2G, 1A), who quietly keeps climbing RINK’s scoring chart. Facing the loss late, Pilot Mound showed resilience, getting third-period goals from Kolton Bigras (1G) and a dramatic last-second equalizer by Burton (1G, 3A) to force overtime, mirroring the drama of their previous one-goal meetings. In OT, Shingoose (2G, 1A) sealed it with his second of the night, to give RHA Winnipeg the win and another narrow victory in a head-to-head matchup that continues to be defined by fine margins and late-game theatrics.

OHA Edmonton (5) vs Indigenous Sports Academy (2) U17 Prep

OHA Edmonton U17 Prep continued their strong run of form, with a convincing 5–2 victory over Indigenous Sports Academy, outshooting ISA 52–30 and controlling the pace from start to finish. OHA set the tone early with first-period goals from Jaxon Moss (1G) and Hudson Blair (1G, 1A), the latter coming on the power play, before Chayse Fedoriuk (1G, 1A) added to the lead midway through the second. ISA briefly pushed back through Maddon L’Hommecourt (1G), but OHA answered decisively, with Clark Schneider (1G, 1A) striking on the man advantage in the third and Christopher Peterson (1G) providing the insurance marker. Ryder Fiddler (1G), ISA’s top goal scorer, added a late tally, but it was too little, too late against an OHA group that has now won both meetings this season by a combined 12–4 scoreline. Between the pipes, Adrien Brochu turned aside 28 shots to anchor a composed performance, while Holden Fauchon stopped 47 shots in a busy night.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (6) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U17 Prep

Northern Alberta Xtreme flipped the script after a slow start, scoring five unanswered goals to pull away for a convincing 6–2 win over Notre Dame Hounds and earn their second straight victory in the season series. After Notre Dame jumped ahead with first-period goals from Luke White (1G, 1A) and Matthew Boekelder (1G), NAX settled in and began to tilt the ice, sparked by Kayton Reinders (2G), who answered early and capped the night with a late empty-netter. Nash Weyland (2G, 1A) took over in the second period with a pair of goals that erased the deficit, while Seth Kshyk (1G, 1A), the team’s leading scorer now up to 18 points, put NAX ahead for good on the power play early in the third. Barrett Fogolin (1G) added another man-advantage marker as part of a dominant final frame where NAX outshot Notre Dame heavily, and Lenox Alanen was rock-solid when needed, stopping 20 of 22 shots.

Calgary International Hockey Academy vs South Alberta Hockey Academy U17 Prep

South Alberta Hockey Academy U17 Prep continued their dominance over Calgary International Hockey Academy this season, edging CIHA 3–2 to complete a perfect 3–0 run in the matchup and tighten their grip near the top of the standings. SAHA set the tone early with Cooper Craven (1G) opening the scoring, before Nixon Bettenson (1G) buried a power-play goal in the second to restore the lead after Max Ranseth (1G, 1A) pulled CIHA even late in the frame. The third period belonged to special teams, as Liam Green (1G) snapped home the eventual game-winner on the power play, extending his strong offensive stretch, while CIHA pushed back late with Rylan Wood (1G, 1A) cutting the deficit to one with under two minutes remaining. Despite the late pressure, Chase Nielson (31/33) stood tall with 31 saves to close it out, outdueling Colton Lutz (41/44) , who faced a heavy workload with 44 shots against. SAHA once again showed their depth and ability to win tight games against a CIHA squad that continues to generate offense but hasn’t yet found the formula to solve their southern rivals this season.

Delta Hockey Academy Black (6) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (1) Female U18 Prep

Delta Black came out the gates swinging in the first period, collecting four unanswered goals in the opening 10 minutes of play, highlighted by Jojo Mailhot’s first of the season in grand fashion. Emily Kempers would stop the bleeding for OHA Black later in the first, but the mountain was far to climb. Delta Black would add another two through the next pair of periods as Lucy Williams (1G, 1A) and Alex Wu added the extra insurance. Eszter Schober (31/32) would collect 31 saves in the Delta Black victory.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (6) vs BWC Academy (4) U17 Prep

An early strike from Gage Mark (3G) would put OHA ahead early. However, a clinical passing play finished off by Kayden Pratt (3G) would put BWC Academy right back into contention. To finish off the first, Mark would bury his second of the evening on the powerplay. In the second, BWC Academy’s powerplay would strike again, this time seeing Ryan Fox (1G, 3A) as the beneficiary. Just under a minute later, Jaxson Bartsch (2G, 1A) would wire one home off the draw, restoring OHA’s lead. Just before the end of the frame, Mark would cap off his hat-trick, going five hole for his 10^th of the season. Bennett Wheatley would extend OHA’s lead in the third, but a late push from BWC Academy and their powerplay excellence would threaten OHA’s advantage. Pratt would put home another two, completing his hat-trick and bringing BWC Academy to within one in the final minutes of play. However, Bartsch would pot the EN goal, sealing up a late night 6-4 victory for OHA.

Saturday morning’s U15 clash between RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg and the Northern Alberta Xtreme saw the shots on goal tally and the way the game unfolded relatively even. The three-period shots on goal total were 38-35 in NAX’s favour, but one thing made a significant difference between the two teams. RHA Winnipeg made good on rush chance after rush chance, generating offence in transition and on the powerplay, eventually leading to RHAW putting five goals up on the board in the first period alone. The last forty minutes of the game unfolded in a significantly more tightly fought manner. The NAX damage was done. Nash Smook scored two goals and three points, and Bentley Church posted three assists of his own in Northern Alberta’s victory.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (6) U15 Prep

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg had their hearts shattered Friday night in their first of three games in Calgary this weekend, letting a 4-2 third-period lead end in an overtime loss against Edge School. Unfortunately for RHAW, Calgary threw everything they had at them throughout the game. RHAW nabbed two goals in 51 seconds in the second period, but surrounding that, CIHA dominated, with Eric Sexton (2G) and Kai Dingwall (1G, 1A) leading the way offensively.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (1) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (15) U15 Prep

Northern Alberta Xtreme’s U15 Prep squad had won 13 of 15 heading into Saturday’s clash with Pilot Mound Hockey Academy, and unfortunately for PMHA the NAX squad would continue the offensive clinic that had seen them come into Saturday scoring 7.5 goals per game on average. NAX posted seven in the first period of play alone against PMHA and wouldn’t stop scoring there. NAX’s top dogs came out to play. Five NAX players scored four or more points in the contest, including hat-tricks from Danel Ramazanov (3G, 4A) and Rylan Edwards (3G, 3A) to add to five points from Jett Evans (2G, 3A) and four assists from Emmett Abel. Ramazonov’s seven points now brings him to 18 points over the span of his seven-game point streak.

STAR Hockey Academy (0) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (8) U15

STAR Hockey Academy’s U15 squad still remain in search of a win to snap their slump, but unfortunately for them, RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna hit the ground running in the first period and wouldn’t stop the persistent pressure from the beginning of the game onwards. Landen Gray scored his first of two powerplay goals barely 100 seconds into the hockey game, and the control of the game persisted throughout. RHAK outshot STAR 55-14 with Dane Morley (2G, 2A) and Harlan Grimsdell (1G, 2A) scoring a combined seven points in RHAK’s 8-0 win.

Prairie Hockey Academy (6) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (3) U17

The North Alberta Xtreme’s U17 squad will see three Saskatchewan based opponents this weekend, dropping a 4-3 decision against Notre Dame on Friday, and would hope their Saturday clash with Prairie Hockey Academy provide them an opportunity to bounce back into the win column. Prairie plays in Edmonton thrice, losing a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of OHA Edmonton on Friday, and they took the lead Saturday with a first-period goal. Kase Gellner scored first, but Holden Lefthand struck back with the equalizer late in the period. The two teams would again trade goals early in the second, but from there on, Prairie took over the game’s goal scoring. Three goals in eight minutes at the back half of the second period sent Prairie on their way to victory. Gellner would add their second of the game in the third and PHA took the 6-3 win over NAX.

St. George’s School (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (6) U15

A pair of one-goal losses to Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy last weekend bestowed Delta Hockey Academy White with a disappointing start to December. Saturday against St. George’s School was Delta White’s last chance at another victory before Christmas, and from the outset, they looked a team determined to do so. They’d score the first three goals, but up three in the second, Alan Qiu pulled St. George’s back within two. Later in the second, St. George’s earned a powerplay and would have felt a lifeline back into the contest. That lifeline, however, was shortly cancelled out. Reidar Stava (1G, 1A) scored shorthanded to extend the lead to 4-1 through two, and Kayden Krestanovich scored his second of the game in the third period to put the game beyond St. George’s reach.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (1) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (6) U17 Prep

Calgary International Hockey Academy played an excellent game against Pilot Mound Hockey Academy on Saturday. The U17 Prep contingent have among the best goal differential in the division and PMHA were shown why, with CIHA not only racing into the lead, but suffocating any offensive pushback from PMHA. Taylor Green stopped 20 of the 21 shots that were sent his way and the goal-scoring followed, with five skaters popping in with multi -point efforts. Charlie Sarich (1G, 2A) led the way with three points, aided by a goal and an assist apiece from Max Ranseth, Nicholas Edgar, Winston Chicilo, and Duke Lesnar.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (0) vs Yale Hockey Academy (15) U15 Prep

Yale Hockey Academy’s Parker McMillan has now notched a point in each of his 16 games played this season. Impressive as that feat may be, McMillan did something on Saturday he hadn’t done once in his 50 previous U15 Prep games; McMillan scored the rarely seen double hat-trick. The six from McMillan didn’t cover half of Yale’s goals in the game, and the other usual suspect did his damage for the Lions as well, with Teagan Dernisky (2G, 5A) chipping in with seven points. Yale hit the PCHA net with 75 shots and managed 15 goals by the time the three periods had come and gone.

Notre Dame Hounds (6) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (7) U17 Prep

Talk about a see-saw affair. The U17 Prep clash between the Notre Dame Hounds and Northern Alberta Xtreme swung in both directions, with Notre Dame at one point in the game scoring three straight and NAX stringing together four straight goals. Notre Dame led 3-1 early in the second and 4-2 in the late stages, but from there, NAX took over, scoring four straight to seemingly put a comfortable amount of distance between them and Notre Dame down the stretch in the back half of the third period. The two-goal cushion they’d accrued was short-lived, with Luke White (1G, 1A) scoring and then providing the primary assist for Lukas Lundgren (3G) to complete his hat-trick and tie the game at six with six minutes to go in the third. The game remained tied down the stretch, making it clear that the excitement wasn’t over. Vancouver Giants prospect Daniel Makovetskiy (1G, 2A) picked the perfect time to snap his three-game goalless drought, making an excellent move to the backhand after single-handedly leading a NAX rush into the offensive zone to break the tie. Makovetskiy’s goal with three seconds to go was as good as an overtime winner, ending the game in Northern Alberta’s favour after a thirteen-goal affair.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (5) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) Female U18 Prep

Okanagan Hockey Academy’s Female U18 Prep squad did everything in their pursuit of a win against their local area rivals, and the performance that resulted was extremely admirable. Unfortunately for OHA, though, the X-factors on RHA Kelowna made the difference. OHA played an excellent first period and led by two goals heading into the second, but five consecutive goals from RHAK put the OHA dream to bed. Hayley McDonald (2G, 1A) and Kennedy Sisson scored two goals apiece with the ever-dangerous Alida Korte (1G, 1A) scoring what would end up the game-winner. McDonald’s three points now gives her six in her last two games and ten over a five-game point streak she’s been on since November 23. OHA scored one more in the third, but ultimately fell short, with RHAK prevailing 5-3.

King Heights Academy (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Ontario (7) East U18 Prep

Okanagan Hockey Ontario’s Saturday clash with King Heights Academy presented OHO the chance to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time this season; in fact, OHO had only won twice prior to December. Saturday was, indeed, OHO’s day, because it was Adam Clark’s day. Clark provided a primary assist in the first, tied the game at two himself in the second, and late in the period, with the score tied 3-3, he’d really go to work. Clark gave his team a 4-3 lead through two before his third period really put the game to bed. Clark scored two in 12 seconds to extend OHO’s lead beyond what KHA could make up.

Notre Dame Hounds (3) vs OHA Edmonton (4) U17

OHA Edmonton spent the first 35 minutes of this hockey game in total control. They outshot Notre Dame 21-4 in the first period and had hit the Hounds’ goal with 39 by the time the second period had concluded. Notre Dame definitely picked up the pace from there, but once the Hounds did get their legs underneath them, the damage had been done. Finn Sample, Ben Phillips, Tucker Porter, and Hunter Jacobs (1G, 1A) scored to give OHAE a 4-1 lead with less than seven minutes left in the third period. The Hounds pulled the game within one to make things interesting, but as dramatic as they made the finish, they couldn’t come back and earn a result in what ended up being a 4-3 OHAE win.

Yale Hockey Academy (1) vs STAR Hockey Academy (4) U17 Prep

Every statistic except the score suggested Yale Hockey Academy were the better team against STAR Hockey Academy on Saturday. They outshot STAR 38-20 in the game including a 14-5 margin in the third period, they scored on the powerplay and killed all four penalties that had put them shorthanded. However, Griffin Fair (37/38) stood tall for STAR at every turn. Hunter Hoggan, Adam Neilson, and Tyler Gillespie, and Adrian Afrakov have been some of the most productive STAR HA players this season, and they’d all be crucial in this game for STAR, driving the offence and each scoring one for STAR. Fair allowed one goal on the powerplay to Yale’s Matthew Zaitchkov, but that was STAR’s only defensive blemish, helping them prevail 4-1.

St. George’s School (3) vs Delta Hockey Academy (5) U17 Prep

Delta Hockey Academy’s U17 Prep squad have been firing on all cylinders since they were beaten 3-2 in overtime by CIHA back on November 16. In the three games that followed, Delta won thrice by a combined score of 18-4, before a difficult test against Yale Hockey Academy gave them a run for their money. Delta, however, ultimately prevailed 3-2, and hoped the momentum would continue into their Saturday clash with St. George’s School. Through forty minutes, it looked like it had. Casey Pearson (3G) had scored twice with Brady Cyr and Cash Field also cashing in to help Delta to a 4-1 lead, one they’d hold into the last 12 minutes of the third period. That final twenty minutes, though, was all St. George’s School. They outshot Delta 19-6 in the final frame. Goals less than four minutes apart from Michael Taylor and Shay Soo pulled St. George’s within one, which set up an incredible finish. However, St. George’s comeback effort was stifled by the man in between the DHA pipes, with Quinn Coupland (43/46) stopping 43 of 46 and 17 in the third period alone to lead Delta to a win. Pearson would make it 5-3 into the empty net to complete his hat-trick and DHA’s victory.

Delta Hockey Academy (1) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (6) U17

PCHA’s U17 squad have not struggled for goals so far this season. They currently sit as the second highest scoring team in the division and have three players in the top 20 of scoring. Their ability to score was on full display Saturday, with PCHA going 3/7 on the powerplay and scoring six goals in the process. Captain Jackson Squire scored two, Maximus Scheffer provided four assists, and two points apiece from Trent Porter (2A) and Sebastian Quast (1G, 1A) helped PCHA further in front. Jack Triance scored on the powerplay for Delta, but it was the only of the 40 shots on goal that PCHA’s Oliver Boniface didn’t save. Boniface has now won three straight starts in suerb fashion, making 103 saves on 107 shots in wins over North Shore, STAR, and now Delta.

Prairie Hockey Academy (5/SO) vs Edge School (4) U18 Prep

Prairie Hockey Academy snapped a four-game skid and earned some revenge with a 5–4 shootout win over Edge School, after a loss to that same team in late November. Following a scoreless first, Brady Keith (2G, 1A) opened the scoring for Prairie Hockey Academy in the second with a power-play goal and another late marker, while Seamus Dillon (1G, 1A) added one in the final minute to give the locals a 3–1 lead despite being outshot. Edge responded early and often in the third, getting power-play and even-strength goals from Ashton McCann (2G) and Luke Huska (2G, 1A) to surge ahead 4–3 and put PHA on the brink. However, Lucas Graham (1G, 1A) forced overtime with a tying goal with two minutes left in regulation, and after a scoreless extra frame, PHA sealed it in the shootout with Dillon scoring the lone goal.

Notre Dame Hounds (4) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (10) U15 Prep

South Alberta Hockey Academy earns another win against the Notre Dame Hounds with a commanding 10–4 win, controlling the game from start to finish behind a dominant shot advantage and balanced scoring. SAHA jumped ahead early with five first-period goals, including a pair from Carter Jarvis (2G, 1A), to build momentum despite Notre Dame briefly responding with goals from Marceli Stepien (1G, 1A) and Ivan Kukolj (1G). Max Thielen (3G) struck early in the second to extend the lead, while AJ Bryan (1G) answered on the power play for the Hounds to keep it close momentarily. Any comeback hopes faded in the third as SAHA poured on four more goals, with contributions from Weston Haslbeck (1G), Cooper Conway (1G), Kyan Vansandt (1G), and Thielen completing his hat trick, while Keironn Davis Diakite (1G, 1A) added Notre Dame’s final marker.

STAR Hockey Academy (2) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) U15 Prep

Okanagan Hockey Academy earned a narrow 3–2 win over STAR Hockey Academy on Saturday at the Okanagan Hockey Training Centre, with key contributions coming from Cooper de Wal (1G, 1A), who opened the scoring and set up the winner, while Levi Thiessen (1G) scored the decisive late goal with less than a minute left in the game and Sequoia Antoine (1G) added OHA’s other marker. Oakley Speckman (33/35) was solid between the pipes to close it out, while STAR countered with goals from Jasper Schelter (1G) early in the third and Ryezen Bertsch (1G) in a tightly played, back-and-forth contest.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (3) vs St. George’s School (9) U18 Prep

St. George’s School delivered an emphatic 9–3 win over Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy on Saturday at UBC’s Father David Bauer Arena, using a dominant second period to pull away and snap Wenatchee’s resistance early. Lucas Benn (4G, 1A) led the charge with a four-goal performance, including the opening marker and a late third-period tally, while Louis Oscar Holowaychuk (2G) continued his strong season with a pair of goals in the middle frame and Byron Chin (1G, 1A) added offense from the wing. Dax Diep (3A) was a steady presence on defense, and Carter Adams (35/38) turned aside most of Wenatchee’s chances. For Wenatchee, Elijah Schneggenburger (1G), Kaiden Turta (1G, 1A), and Sean Strasser (1G) supplied the scoring, while Tyler O’Keefee (58/67) faced a heavy workload in goal as St. George’s outshot Wenatchee 67–38 and controlled long stretches of play.

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (1) vs BWC Academy (4) U17 Prep

BWC Academy pulled away for a 4–1 win over Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy on Saturday at Burnaby Winter Club, using a strong middle frame to flip the game after CDA opened the scoring early in the second period. Wilton Vo (2G) led the offensive push for BWC with a shorthanded goal to tie the game and another early in the third to create separation, while Kayden Pratt (1G, 1A) and Jaden Brackett (1G, 1A) combined on key goals, including Brackett’s late empty netter to seal it. Liam Kellett (25/26) was steady in goal, helping BWC kill off all six penalties, while Coeur d’Alene’s lone marker came from Gavin Payne (1G) as BWC outshot CDA 39–26 and controlled much of the final two periods.

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (6/OT) vs STAR Hockey (5) Academy U17

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy snapped a difficult stretch and earned some redemption against an opponent that had the upper hand in their last two meetings with a dramatic 6–5 overtime win over STAR Hockey Academy. Just one day after being shut out 6–0 by the same opponent CDA’s Logan Madrid (2G, 3A) capped a five-point night with the OT winner 1:35 into extra time. Blake Celski (3G) powered CDA’s third-period comeback with a natural hat trick to erase a 5–3 deficit, while Kirill Zhikharev (1G) chipped in on the power play as the visitors outshoot the locals 50–30. STAR was led offensively by Deacon Wilson (4G), who also recorded a natural hat trick by the second period and added a fourth on the power play late in the third, with Seve Paladino (1G, 2A) supporting the attack, but CDA’s pushback earned them the comeback win in overtime.

Delta Hockey Academy (4) vs Shawnigan Lake School (0) U15 Prep

Miles Teiffel and Woojin Seo (1G, 1A) net an early pair of back-to-back goals for Delta. Ronan Gow would add some extra insurance in the second with a shorthanded tally. Johann Zhao (1G, 1A) buried Delta’s fourth in the third as that’s all the scoring they would get past Bryce Roache (57/61) who stood on his head for 57 saves in the 4-0 loss. At the other end of the ice, Jace Zemanek (10/10) made 10 saves for his third shutout of the season.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (1) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) U17

After Friday’s tightly knit affair that saw Nathan Marques netting the OT winner, OHA would keep the offense going. OHA would net the first five goals in this contest, hammering RHA Kelowna in shots on goal in the process as well. OHA would add another two in the third while Otis Jacques scored the lone goal for RHA Kelowna. Cole Schellenberg (3G, 1A) would lead the charge for OHA, collecting a hat-trick and four points in the 7-1 win. Marques (3A) would provide three assists in the win, extending his season long 21-game point streak and increasing his grip on the scoring lead with 45 points on the season. Holden Tamm (32/33) picked up the win in goal, providing 32 saves.

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (3) vs BWC Academy (5) U18 Prep

It took all but 44-seconds for Easton Margettie (1G, 1A) to open the scoring for Coeur d’Alene. However, Everett Silvertips prospect Elias Papadatos (1G, 1A) would wire home the game tying goal before the end of the first. In the second, CDA would strike early again, this time coming shorthanded off a wicked wrister by Ewen Willers (1G, 1A). Once again, BWC Academy was there to tie it, this time off the blade of Kadyn O’Brien (1G, 1A). BWC Academy would finally hold CDA off the scoresheet in the first minute of the frame in the third, this time garnering their first lead off a jam play in close by Luca Martyniuk. Logan Lepinksi (1G, 1A) would later double that lead with his third goal of the season. Matej Bydzovsky would get CDA back to within one in the late stages of the third, but Mark Lee was able to put away the empty net goal to seal this one up for BWC Academy. James Fitzpatrick (20/23) made 20 saves in the victory while Bennett Byers (50/54) posted an impressive 50 save outing in the loss.

Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (0) vs North Shore Warriors (3) Female U18 Prep

After fending off an early 5-on-3, North Shore would be rewarded for their penalty killing efforts as Elise Miller (1G, 1A) wired home a powerplay goal to break the ice for the Warriors. Later in the second, Alexa Roberts would extend North Shore’s lead, batting away a loose puck in close. In the third, Gemma Han (1G, 1A) would snipe her first of the season while Emma Ward (37/37) remained perfect in goal, recording her third shutout of the season in a 37 save effort.
