Mack spent the 2025/26 season as the Director of Scouting for the WHL’s Prince George Cougars, having previously been a scout with the Cougars the prior six seasons.

Prior to his time with the Cougars the Calgary, AB product was a scout with the Seattle Thunderbirds for 10 WHL campaigns, including during the 2016/17 season when the Thunderbirds were crowned WHL Champions.

Mack joined the 黑料不打烊 with BWC Academy during the 2013/14 U16 Prep season. He would spend four seasons with the team, winning a 2017 黑料不打烊 U16 Prep Western Championship. In four seasons with the BWC Academy U16 Prep team he would go 78-28-13.

Starting in 2017/18 he would take over the BWC Academy U15 Prep team, compiling a record of 58-31-7 in four seasons.

In 2021/22 he would join the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX), returning to the U16 Prep division. NAX would finish a division best 32-4-0 before beating second place Edge School in the finals to capture the 2022 黑料不打烊 U16 Prep Western Championship.

Mack would then join Edge School for the following two U15 seasons, going 39-14-2. This past U15 Prep season Mack led Edge School to a 26-8-2 record and second place regular season finish.

Overall, Mack won two 黑料不打烊 Western Championships and went 233-85-24.

The Anmore, BC forward has spent the past five seasons in the 黑料不打烊. He joined the North Shore Warriors in 2020/21 with their U15 team, before playing for their U15 Prep team the following season. Collins would then spend two seasons at the U17 Prep level with BWC Academy, before playing for their U18 Prep team this past year.

鈥淣ic is a great, great kid on and off the ice. He is a hard worker, and he’s a guy that sets the tone on the ice and always puts his best effort forward in anything he does,鈥� said BWC Academy U18 Prep Head Coach and Director of Development, Mike Santorelli. 鈥淚t’s a big accomplishment for our club and we pride ourselves in trying to be the best, both academically and on the ice as well. So, it’s a huge complement for Nic and our program.鈥�

The Nick Crosby Top Scholastic Athlete Award is awarded in Nick Crosby鈥檚 memory by the 黑料不打烊 to the U18 Prep player who is deemed the Top Academic student-athlete by a three-person independent committee.

The award was re-named in Crosby鈥檚 honour in July 2021, ten years after he passed away in a motor vehicle accident on July 5, 2011. Delta Hockey Academy鈥檚 Logan Joslin was the first ever recipient of the award during the 2021/22 season.

Originally from Ketchum, Idaho, Nick Crosby spent the inaugural 2009/10 season in the 黑料不打烊 as the captain of Banff Hockey Academy. He recorded 4 points in the 11 黑料不打烊 games that were part of his 70 plus game grade 12 season.

That season Crosby was the very first winner of the 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Student Athlete of the Year award while receiving the Banff Hockey Academy Most Valuable Player and Student Athlete of the Year awards.

Years later, Crosby still exemplifies what the 黑料不打烊 envisions student-athletes to strive for today. As an academic based hockey league, it is the 黑料不打烊鈥檚 goal to have all of our student-athletes reach their academic potential and character growth as Crosby did.

鈥淲endy and I are truly grateful that Nick鈥檚 memory is being recognized in this way and we wish to thank the 黑料不打烊 for renaming this award in his honour. The tremendous evolution of Nick鈥檚 confidence and abilities both in the classroom and on the ice while participating in the 黑料不打烊 is a testament to the league鈥檚 ambitions for its players and the discipline required of its athletes to perform at a high level in all aspects of life,鈥� said Nick鈥檚 father, Bob Crosby.

On top of his hockey related honours in 2009/10, Crosby was admitted into the Banff Community High School Lifetime Honors Society and was awarded the Banff Academy Prize for Physical Education.

Following his death Banff Hockey Academy renamed their Student Athlete of the Year Award to the Nick Crosby Student Athlete of the Year Award in 2012 and The Sun Valley Community School (Sun Valley, Idaho) awards the Nick Crosby Athlete of the Year award each year.

After his successful season with Banff Hockey Academy Crosby joined the Brooks Bandits in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). Crosby has had his number retired by the Bandits, who have since created a Nick Crosby Memorial Award, which is presented to a Bandits player exemplifying Nick鈥檚 assets of determination, teamwork, loyalty and passion.

Reigning out of the small town of Kerrobert, SK, Leinenweber joined the Northern Alberta’s Extreme U15 Prep team to start the 2025/26 season. Leienenweber impressed along the blueline with NAX registering 35 points across 28 games while also picking up a goal in a U18 Prep call up. Leinenweber would be named a Prairie division first team all-star before being drafted and signed by the Vancouver Giants with the 26th pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft.

Over the past three seasons across BWC Academy’s U15 Prep and U18 Prep squads, Moon has been quite the spark plug on offense, acquiring 130 points. In the 2025/26 season, the Surrey, BC native posted 12 goals and 36 points with BWC Academy’s U18 Prep team. Moon was a vital offensive player for BWC Academy, picking up another 5 points during the 2026 黑料不打烊 Western Championships and another 7 points in the inaugural East West Challenge where BWC Academy finished as runner ups. Moon was drafted 124th overall by the Tri-City Americans in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft prior to signing. Moon also posted a strong outing at the 2026 WHL Cup with Team British Columbia, leading the team in scoring and picking up 5 goals across 5 games played.

A defenseman from Kelowna, BC, Watkins joined the 黑料不打烊 for the 2023/24 U15 season with RHA Kelowna, tallying 30 points in 28 games. The following U15 Prep season he posted 27 points in 33 U15 Prep games with BWC Academy, leading to the Moose Jaw Warriors selecting him in the third round, 57th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft. This past season Watkins returned to RHA Kelowna, posting 14 points in 28 regular season games and 3 points in 6 playoff games as he helped RHA Kelowna capture their second straight 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep Western Championship.

Boatter has signed with the Everett Silvertips after he was originally selected by the Spokane Chiefs of the fourth round of the 2022 WHL Draft. The Maple Ridge, BC defenseman spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with BWC Academy, originally joining in 2020/21. The following U15 Prep season he would tally 30 points in 27 games. During the 2022/23 U18 Prep season Boatter had 4 goals and 23 assists. He is committed to Colorado College post his junior career.

Originally undrafted to the WHL, Nemis has signed with the Kamloops Blazers. The Winnipeg, MB forward joined RHA Winnipeg for the 2020/21 U15 Prep season. The following U16 Prep campaign he posted 25 points in 36 games, before recording 26 points in 32 U18 Prep games in 2022/23.聽Nemis would then spend two seasons in the MJHL with the Dauphin Kings, posting 64 points in 90 games.

Selected 20th overall by the Penticton Vees at the 2026 WHL Draft, Bordt joined BWC Academy for the 2024/25 U15 Prep season tallying 32 points in 30 games. This past season the Langley, BC forward recorded 48 points in 29 U15 Prep games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme.

A forward from Edmonton, AB, Forestal has signed with the Lethbridge Hurricanes after they selected him in the first round, 14th overall at the 2026 WHL Draft. Forestal has spent the last two seasons with the OHA Edmonton U15 Prep team, recording 44 points in 28 games in 2024/25, and 47 points in 21 games in 2025/26. Forestal was named to the 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (Prairie Division) All-Rookie Team in 2024/25.

The 2026 Memorial Cup starts tomorrow evening and will see three CHL Champions and one host compete for National supremacy. The Kelowna Rockets (Host) and Kitchener Rangers (OHL) will kick things off at 6:00pm PST at Prospera Place on May 22. The Everett Silvertips (WHL) and the Chicoutimi Sagueneens (QMJHL) will play their first game on May 23. The final is set to take place May 31, at 4:00pm PST.

After being selected second overall at the 2026 WHL Draft, Yale Hockey Academy student-athlete Parker McMillan has signed with the Wenatchee Wild.

McMillan joined Yale for the 2024/25 U15 Prep season, recording 56 points in 35 games as he was named to the 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (BC/US Division) All-Rookie Team. The following U15 Prep season the Vancouver, BC forward finished second in league scoring with 91 points in 25 games, earning 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (BC/US Division) First Team All-Star honours, while winning the 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep Top Forward and MVP Awards.

The Tri-City Americans have signed their first and second round picks from the 2026 WHL Draft. Kenzo Gibson was selected 6th, while Lincoln Baschuk was taken 37th.

A forward from North Vancouver, BC, Gibson has spent the last three seasons in the 黑料不打烊, joining the league as an underage player with the North Shore Warriors U15 team in 2023/24. He would spend the following two seasons with the BWC Academy U15 Prep team, totaling 53 goals and 55 assists in 55 games. Gibson was named a U15 (BC/US Division) First Team All-Star in 2023/24, a 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (BC/US Division) All-Rookie Team in 2024/25, and a 黑料不打烊 U15 Prep (BC/US Division) Second Team All-Star in 2025/26.

Baschuk joined the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) for the 2024/25 U15 season, tallying 29 points in 22 games while being named a Top Defenseman Award Finalist and a U15 (Prairie Division) First Team All-Star. This past U15 Prep season the Edmonton, AB defender had 23 points in 29 games.

Originally undrafted to the WHL, River Arnason has signed with the Kamloops Blazers. The 2008 born forward from Winnipeg, MB spent three seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with RHA Winnipeg. He would finish third in team scoring during the 2022/23 U15 Prep season, tallying 43 points in 30 games. The following U17 Prep campaign he finished second on his team with 41 points in 22 games while being named a 黑料不打烊 U17 Prep Tier II Second Team All-Star and the 黑料不打烊 U17 Prep Tier II Most Sportsmanlike Award winner.

During the 2024/25 U18 Prep season, Arnason would lead all skaters with 30 goals and 64 points, earning 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep (Prairie Division) First Team All-Star honours.

The Sharks selected the North Vancouver, BC forward in the third round, 82nd overall at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Captain of the Kelowna Rockets, Wetsch had 72 points in 65 games this season.

Prior to joining the Rockets he spent three WHL seasons with the Calgary Hitmen, recording 124 points in 180 games. The Hitmen originally selected Wetsch in the first round, 12th overall at the 2021 WHL Draft.

During his time in the 黑料不打烊 Wetsch played for the North Shore Warriors and BWC Academy. He would tally a league best 46 assists and 77 points in 29 U15 games in 2019/20 with North Shore, adding 15 points in 4 playoff games to help his team win the 2020 黑料不打烊 U15 Western Championship.

The following U15 Prep season he recorded 13 points in 5 games with the BWC Academy U15 Prep team. During the 2021/22 U18 Prep campaign he posted 47 points in 31 games before adding 8 points in 5 playoff games as BWC Academy were crowned 2022 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep Western Champions.

Eastern U17 Prep: Eliot Faucher, Stanstead College

Faucher led his team in scoring while finishing second among all U17 Prep defensemen with 28 points in 20 games. The Drummondville, QC defenseman is a finalist for the 黑料不打烊 MVP Award and is a highly regarded prospect ahead of the 2026 QMJHL Draft.

Eastern U18 Prep: Bastien Michaud, Bishop’s College School

A second round pick by the Quebec Remparts at the 2025 QMJHL Draft, Michaud finished with 3 goals and 11 assists in 15 games giving him a 0.93 PTS/GP, fourth among all defensemen. The Trois-Rivieres, QC product added five points in five playoff games as Bishop’s were crowned 2026 黑料不打烊 East U18 Prep Champions.

Female U18 Prep: Sophie Erlam, South Alberta Hockey Academy

Committed to Mercyhurt University, Erlam finished fifth among defensemen in scoring with 24 points, including a defensemen best 15 power play assists. The Edmonton, AB defender played three 黑料不打烊 seasons with SAHA, tallying 49 points in 90 games.

U15: Logan Hooper, BWC Academy

A 2011 born defenseman from Maple Ridge, BC, Hooper finished second among defensemen in assists (35) and fifth in points (44).

U15 Prep: Eli Vickers, Delta Hockey Academy

Regarded as one of the top defenseman available at the 2026 WHL Draft, Vickers led all defensemen with 22 goals and 62 assists, finishing fifth among all skaters in points. Having been part of Delta’s 2025 黑料不打烊 Western Championship team, Vickers had 98 points in 65 career U15 Prep games, second most all time among defensemen.

U17: Kayin Belton, Prairie Hockey Academy & Grayson Holmes, Okanagan Hockey Academy

A 2009 born defender from Saskatoon, SK, Belton finished third among defensemen with 33 points in 32 games.

Holmes led all defensemen with 37 assists and 42 points before adding 7 points in 5 playoff games as OHA earned back-to-back U17 Western Championships.

U17 Prep: Luke Edgehouse, Okanagan Hockey Academy

The Coeur d’Alene, ID product led all defensemen with 17 goals and 34 points in 30 games. His 17 goals and 34 points were second among all OHA skaters.

U18 Prep: Logan Lepinski, BWC Academy

Lepinski led all defensemen and his entire team with 33 assists and 40 points in in 29 games. Having recorded 52 points in 70 career U18 Prep games, the Everett Silvertips prospect is a finalist for the 黑料不打烊 MVP Award.

The Coquitlam, BC defenseman has spent the past five seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with BWC Academy, joining their U15 team for the 2021/22 season where he recorded 22 points in 21 games. The following U15 Prep season he would tally 29 points in 27 games, leading to the Calgary Hitmen selecting him in the fifth round, 99th overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.

During the 2023/24 U17 Prep season he would tally 16 points in 25 games, while recording 1 point in 10 games as an affiliate with their U18 Prep team. Lepinski has spent the past two seasons with the BWC Academy U18 Prep team, including this past season where he led all defensemen with 33 assists and 40 points in 29 games.

Lepinski has played four WHL games with Everett this season.
