Brace and Delta Black lost their second round robin game of the Championships to Shawnigan 6-1, but Brace would bounce back with a 28 save performance in the finals as Delta Black beat Shawnigan 2-1 to capture the Female U18 Prep Division II Western Championship. The Chilliwack, BC netminder finished with a 2-1-0 record, 3.00 GAA and .908 SV%, including giving up just 3 goals on 52 shots in the semi-finals and finals. A SAIT Trojans commit, Brace went 5-9-0 with a 3.55 GAA, .905 SV% and 2 shutouts during the regular season.

U15 Championships: Easton Isfeld, Delta Hockey Academy Black

The 2012 born defenseman led all skaters with 8 assists and 13 points to lead Delta Black to a U15 Western Championship. On the season the Coquitlam, BC product had 17 goals and 30 assists, finishing second among defensemen with 47 points.

U15 Division II: Sawyer Elke, Pacific Coast Hockey Academy

A netminder from Campbell River, BC, Elke went 5-0-0 with a 2.21 GAA, .949 SV% and 1 shutout, playing all five playoff games for Pacific Coast. Ketch led all defensemen with 5 goals and 9 points, helping Shawnigan to a U17 Prep Division II Western Championship. The Duncan, BC product recorded 4 goals and an assist in the semi’s and finals, including the game winning goal in the championship game. This season he tallied 21 points in 30 U17 Prep games, to go along with his 56 points in 62 U15 Prep games the previous two seasons.

U18 Prep Championships: Carson Smith, RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna

A 2024 WHL Draft pick by the Moose Jaw Warriors, Smith tied for the scoring lead with 5 goals, while finishing tied for sixth with 7 points. The West Kelowna, BC forward scored an overtime winner in RHA Kelowna’s first playoff game before scoring just 40 seconds into the finals against NAX, helping his team win back-to-back West Championships. This season, his third in the 黑料不打烊, Smith tallied 38 points in 24 regular season games.

U18 Prep Division II: Jack Poole, North Shore Warriors

Eastern U18: Grady Betts, King’s-Edgehill School

Betts led the U18 Prep division with 10 assists and 15 points in 5 games for KES. Now in his second 黑料不打烊 season with KES, Betts sits third with 19 assists and fifth in the division with 14 goals and 33 points. The Fredericton, NB forward tallied 11 points in 22 games last season.

Female U18 Prep: Jenna Ring, Edge School

A Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 2024 QMJHL Draft pick, the Kirkland, QC forward led all skaters with 13 goals and 20 points in 7 games in January. In 20 games this season he leads all skaters with 26 goals, 20 assists and 46 points, 14 more than anyone else.聽

The Maple Ridge, BC defenseman led all skaters with 16 assists in 5 games, including a 7 assist game against STAR Hockey Academy on January 11. Sponchia tied for the lead among dmen with 16 points, tied for fourth among all skaters. On the season Sponchia has 3 goals and 25 assists in 28 games.

U15 Prep: Ronan Gow, Delta Hockey Academy

The Nanaimo, BC forward led all U15 Prep skaters with 10 goals in 6 games in January. His 14 points were third most among all skaters, giving him 43 on the season. U18 Prep: Vlad Ibragimov, North Shore Warriors

A 2025 WHL Draft pick by the Medicine Hat Tigers, Ibragimov led the division with 15 points and 11 goals in 8 games played. This season he leads his team with 19 goals and 34 points, sitting third in the division in goals and ninth in points. Having recorded 40 points in 36 games last season the Calgary, AB forward has 74 points in 61 career U18 Prep games.

A defenseman from Calgary, AB, Watson played 10 games in January and tallied 5 assists and 4 goals including a hat-trick on January 23. In 2023/24 she would join RHA Kelowna recording 51 points in 29 games and 3 points in 4 playoff games to help her team capture the 2024 黑料不打烊 Female U18 Prep Western Championship. That season she would represent Team Canada U18, winning a bronze medal, recording three points in six games.

A month after his twin brother Liam was named the December 黑料不打烊 WHL Alumni Player of the Month, Markus Ruck played 12 WHL games in January, recording 4 goals and 15 assists for 19 points. On the season the Osoyoos, BC forward has 12 goals and 56 assists in 48 games, leading the WHL in assists while sitting tied for fifth in scoring. Last year Ruck recorded 29 points in 62 games while helping the Tigers to a WHL Championship in his first season.

Prior to his time in the WHL with the Tigers, Ruck played four seasons in the 黑料不打烊 with Okanagan Hockey Academy. During the 2020/21 U15 season he tallied 19 points in 9 games. The following U15 Prep season he recorded 32 points in 30 games before leading all U15 Prep skaters with 65 assists and finishing second with 87 points in 27 games during the 2022/23 season. At the conclusion of that season the Tigers selected Ruck 21st overall at the 2023 WHL Draft. During the 2023/24 黑料不打烊 U18 Prep season Ruck finished third with 62 points in just 25 games with OHA.

Ruck has represented Team Canada on two separate occasions, winning goal at the U17 World Hockey Challenge and Bronze at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Eastern U17/U17 Est: Eliot Faucher, Stanstead College

The Cougars would then select Carels in the first round, 15th overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.

Carels would play for the Pilot Mound U17 Prep team during the 2023/24 黑料不打烊 season, leading all defensemen with 18 goals, 32 assists and 50 points in 27 games. Carels would be named the 黑料不打烊 U17 Prep Tier II MVP, Top Defenseman and a First Team All-Star.

Carels would make the jump to the WHL for the 2024/25 season finishing with 35 points in 60 games. He would add four points in four games with Team Canada Red at the U17 World Hockey Challenge, capturing a silver medal. He would also add a U18 World Juniors gold medal, recording one point in seven games with Team Canada.

A netminder from Saskatoon, SK, Drabyk played 7 games with Syracuse University in November finishing the month with a 1.70 GAA, 0.944 SV% and 1 shutout. In her freshman NCAA season, Drabyk is 6-9-2 with a 2.59 GAA, 0.921 SV% and 2 shutouts in 17 games.
